Claims (1)

異なる電圧を与えて異なる着色状態にすることに
よりミラーの光反射率を変化させるように構成さ
れた光反射率制御装置であつて、自動車の前方を
含む周囲環境の明るさを検出してその明るさに応
じた電気信号を出力する第1のセンサーと、自動
車の後方を含む周囲環境の明るさを検出してその
明るさに応じた電気信号を出力する第2のセンサ
ーと、前記周囲環境の異なる明るさに対応する異
なる参照信号を発生させる手段をそれぞれ備え前
記各センサーの出力信号と前記参照信号発生手段
からの異なる参照信号とをそれぞれ比較してその
比較値に対応した複数の論理信号をそれぞれ出力
する複数の比較器からなる比較回路と、前記比較
回路からの論理信号に基づいて前記エレクトロク
ロミツク素子に異なる電圧を選択的に印加する手
段とを備えた光反射率制御装置において、前記電
圧印加手段はバツテリーと、バツテリーの電圧を
分割するように配置された分圧抵抗を備える定電
圧回路と、前記第2のセンサーに対応する各比較
器からの論理信号に応答して前記定電圧回路の分
圧抵抗を変化させる手段とを含み、更に前記定電
圧回路の出力電圧がある特定の電圧からより小さ
い電圧に変化された場合には前記複数の論理信号
に基づき前記エレクトロクロミツク素子に前記よ
り小さい電圧を印加する前に、一定の短い時間だ
け、前記エレクトロクロミツク素子を短絡させる
