動の竪軸ポンプにおいて、モータ外壁を貫通して
上部軸端に冷却用フアンを設けると共に、該モー
タ外壁の周面にフインを設け、且つ上記冷却用フ
アン及び上記フインの外側に、該冷却用フアンに
よる冷風をフインを経て下方向に導く内カバーを
設け、更に該内カバーの外側に、モータ冷却用空
気を下部より取り込み上記冷却用フアンの吸込側
に導く下部を開口した椀形の外カバーを設け、ポ
ンプ冠水時でもモータ部を浸水から守るようにし
たことを特徴とする竪軸ポンプ。 ２ 上記外カバーが、下側の径をモータ外壁に対
