Abstract

[Problem] To provide a simple-shaped fastener, deck structure, and fastening method for a fascia board that allows for smooth and low-cost attachment of a fascia board to the periphery of a floor surface, and that allows for attachment of the fascia board regardless of the shape of the floor surface that constitutes the floor surface or the arrangement of the joists and the support members that support them. [Solution] A fascia board fastener that attaches a fascia board to the outer edge of a floor surface formed by floorboards supported by joists. The fastener has a mounting section that extends vertically and to which the fascia board is attached, a support section that supports the fascia board at the lower end of the mounting section, and a fastening section that is attached to the joists or floorboards along the outer edge of the floor surface. The fastening section is positioned at a predetermined position along the side of the floorboard by inserting it into a hole in the longitudinal end of the joist, and is positioned at a predetermined position at the longitudinal end of the floorboard by abutting the upper surface of the fastening section against the underside of the longitudinal end of the floorboard. Description

The present invention relates to a deck board fastener, a deck structure, and a method for fastening a deck board.

Conventionally, a deck structure has been known for use on buildings such as houses, which includes leg members erected on the construction ground, joists placed on the leg members, floorboards laid on the joists to form the floor surface, and a decorative panel attached to the periphery of the floor surface.

Patent Document 1 discloses a deck structure in which a fascia board is attached to the periphery of the floor using a fascia board fixing member that has a fixing vertical surface portion for fixing a screw inserted from the surface side of the fascia board, a cover surface portion that faces the tip of the screw, and a support portion for supporting part of the fascia board.

Patent Document 2 discloses a deck structure that includes a base wall, a pair of side walls extending from both side edges of the base wall in a direction perpendicular to the base wall, and a pair of flanges extending parallel to the base wall in directions away from each tip of the pair of side walls, and that attaches a fascia board to the periphery of the floor surface using a fascia board material fastener that can be attached to either the longitudinal ends of the joists or the side surfaces along the longitudinal direction of the joists.

Patent Document 1 aims to improve the ease of installing a panel by allowing the panel to be temporarily placed on the support and for the panel to be fastened to the panel fixing members from the front side of the panel with screws. However, the panel fixing members have significantly different shapes on the longitudinal ends of the floorboards that make up the floor surface and on the sides of the floorboards, which increases costs and makes it easy to mix up the panel fixing members during installation, posing a challenge to workability.

The fascia board fastener described in Patent Document 2 aims to improve workability by enabling it to be attached to both the ends and sides of the floorboards that make up the floor surface. However, because the fascia board fastener must be attached and fixed to the side of the joists, when attaching a fascia board to the longitudinal end of a floorboard, it cannot be attached depending on the shape of the floorboard or the arrangement of the joists. This leaves room for versatility.

The present invention was made in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and its purpose is to provide a fascia board fastener, deck structure, and fascia board fastening method that can smoothly and inexpensively attach a fascia board to the peripheral edge of a floor surface with a simple shape, and that can attach a fascia board regardless of the shape of the floor surface that makes up the floor or the arrangement of the joists and support members that support them.

The above object of the present invention can be achieved by the following configuration.
(1) A fixture for attaching a fascia board to the outer edge of a floor surface formed by floorboards supported by floor joists,
A mounting portion extending in the vertical direction to which the header board is attached, a support portion supporting the header board at the lower end of the mounting portion, and a header board support portion supporting the header board;
and a fixing portion attached to the floor joist or floor board along the outer edge of the floor surface,
The fixing portion is positioned at a predetermined position along the side surface of the floorboard by being inserted into a hole in the longitudinal end of the floor joist, and is positioned at a predetermined position on the longitudinal end of the floorboard by abutting the upper surface of the fixing portion against the underside of the longitudinal end of the floorboard.

According to the present invention, by standardizing the configuration of the fascia board fasteners used to attach fascia boards to the peripheral edges of the floor surface, costs can be kept low and the labor required for fascia board installation can be reduced. Furthermore, fascia boards can be installed smoothly and easily regardless of the shape of the deck structure's floor surface or the arrangement of the joists.

(First embodiment)
An embodiment of a deck structure using the header board fastener of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 is an overall perspective view showing a deck structure to which the header board fastener of the first embodiment is applied. Fig. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the deck structure shown in Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a front view, with a portion thereof in cross section, of the deck structure shown in Fig. 1. Fig. 4 is an enlarged view of a main portion of Fig. 3. Fig. 5 is a side view, with a portion thereof in cross section, of the deck structure shown in Fig. 1. Fig. 6 is an enlarged view of a main portion of Fig. 5.

The deck structure 100 comprises a plurality of support members 10 arranged side by side on the installation surface, joists 20 spanning between the support members 10, floorboards 30 arranged side by side on the joists 20 to form a floor surface 35, a fascia board 40 installed to surround the periphery of the floor surface, and a fascia board fixing device 50 for fixing the fascia board 40.
The deck structure 100 may further include a frame member called a joist between the joists 20 and the support members 10, which extends in a direction intersecting with the joists 20.

The support members 10 are columnar bases arranged in a row on an installation surface such as the ground, and are arranged in a row to match the size and shape of the floor surface formed by the deck structure 100. In this embodiment, in which a rectangular floor surface is formed, three support members 10 are arranged in a row in the extension direction of the joists 20 as shown in Figure 2, and three support members 10 are arranged in a row in the extension direction of the floorboards 30 as shown in Figure 5.
The lower end of the support member 10 may be buried in the installation surface and fixed thereto, or may be fixed thereto with a bolt using an L-shaped fixing member or the like.
The upper end of the support member 10 is attached and fixed to the lower surface of the joist 20.

The support member 10 need only be configured to support the joists 20 and is not limited to a columnar member as in this embodiment. For example, the support member 10 may be provided with a height adjustment mechanism to change the height, thereby making it possible to adjust the height position at which the floor surface 35 is formed. As a specific example, the support member 10 may be provided with a threaded groove (not shown) formed on the outer circumferential surface along the vertical direction and an intermediate support (not shown) that engages with the threaded groove. With this configuration, the overall height of the support member 10 can be continuously and finely adjusted by adjusting the tightening amount of the intermediate support. Note that the configuration for adjusting the height of the support member 10 is not limited to the above, and the support member 10 and the intermediate support may be fixed with pins to adjust the height discontinuously.
This means that even if the installation surface on which the deck structure 100 is installed has a staircase-like step, a slope-like inclined surface, a recess due to a drainage ditch, or a protrusion due to a beam, the floor surface 35 can be kept level by appropriately adjusting the height of the support member 10.

The joists 20 are frame members installed to span the upper ends of the support members 10, and are formed in the shape of hollow rectangular pillars, with holes 20a along their extension direction. As shown in Figure 2, multiple joists 20 are arranged parallel to each other at a predetermined interval. Adjacent joists 20 may also be connected to each other by frame-shaped connecting members 25.

6, the common joist 20 is a cylindrical frame member formed in a rectangular cross section with a convex portion as a whole, and has a pair of retaining plates 21, 21 protruding downward from both ends in the width direction of the lower surface, a pair of first step portions 22 bent in a crank shape in a direction narrowing the width from the middle of the vertical direction of both sides toward the top, and a pair of second step portions 23 bent in a crank shape in a direction further narrowing the width above the first step portions 22. The floorboard 30 is placed on the upper surface of the joist 20, which is narrowed by the groove-shaped second step portion 23.

3 to 6, the pair of holding plates 21 hold the outer peripheral surfaces of the upper ends of the pair of support members 10 in a sandwiched manner, and are fixed to the support members 10 by fixing screws 26 or the like inserted horizontally. This fixes the support members 10 and the joists 20. The fixing screws 26 may be replaced with other fixing means such as nails or rivets.

As shown in the example of FIG. 17, the method of fixing the joist 20 to the upper end of the support member 10 is not limited to the configuration using a pair of holding plates 21 and fixing screws 26.
17 shows another embodiment of the support member and the joist. The joist 20 has a flat bottom surface formed by eliminating the above-mentioned holding plate 21. The support member 10 has a support plate 11 at its upper end on which the joist 20 is placed.
According to this configuration, the upper end of the support member 10 and the joist 20 can be fixed by passing a fixing screw 13 or the like through the underside of the joist 20 from the underside of the support plate 11 on which the joist 20 is placed to the underside of the joist 20.
According to this configuration, by using steel material or the like for the support member 10, even if the support member 10 is thinner than the joist 20, the joist 20 can be fixed in a stable state to the upper end of the support member 10.

Furthermore, as shown in Figure 18, a configuration may be adopted in which a pair of fixing plates 15 are provided on a support plate 11 provided at the upper end of the support member 10 and attached to the sides of the joists 20 placed on the support plate 11.
Each fixing plate 15 is bent in an L-shape in plan view, and has a first portion 15a against which the thin joist 20A abuts and a second portion 15b against which the thick joist 20B abuts. Furthermore, the pair of fixing plates 15 are arranged such that the first portions 15a and the second portions 15b are positioned relative to each other, and the distance between the second portions 15b is wider than the distance between the first portions 15a.
According to this configuration, the joists 20 can be fixed to the upper ends of the support members 10 by fixing the side surfaces of the joists 20 placed on the support plates 11 to the pair of fixing plates 15 with fixing screws or the like. In addition, by appropriately adjusting the angle of the side portions of the fixing plates 15 that abut against the joists 20, joists 20 of various thicknesses can be attached and fixed, which increases versatility.
Each fixing plate 15 may be configured to curve in a direction away from the other fixing plate 15 toward its tip in a plan view. This configuration is preferable because it allows some leeway in the thickness of the joists 20 that can abut between the pair of fixing plates 15, thereby further improving versatility.

As shown in Figures 3 and 5, connecting members 25 are fixed to a pair of first step portions 22, connecting the joists 20 arranged in parallel. Specifically, the connecting members 25 are elongated plate-like members with a U-shaped cross section that is open at the bottom, and have flange portions that are bent horizontally outward at both widthwise ends. With the flange portions placed on the first step portions 22, the connecting members are fixed to the first step portions 22 with fixing screws 27 or the like. The fixing screws 27 may be replaced with other fixing means, such as nails or rivets.

4 and 6, the pair of second step portions 23 are fixed with fastening screws 28 or the like, with the heads of the fastening screws 28 inserted into the holes 20a of the common joists 20. The heads of the fastening screws 28 are positioned in the vertical gaps formed between the second step portions 23 and the top surfaces of the common joists 20.
This allows the header board fastener 50 inserted into the hole 20a of the joist 20 to be easily fixed from the top side of the joist 20 using the fixing screw 28, and also prevents the fixing screw 28 from interfering with the floorboard 30 placed on the top surface of the joist 20. The fixing screw 28 may be replaced with other fixing means such as a nail or a rivet.

The floorboards 30 are longitudinal plate-like members that are arranged to intersect or intersect perpendicularly with the joists 20, and by arranging multiple boards in a row along the extension direction of the joists 20, they form a floor surface 35 that serves as the deck floor.
As shown in Figure 5, the floorboard 30 has an uneven surface 31 with unevenness formed along the longitudinal direction across the entire upper surface of the floorboard, and a pair of recesses 32, 32 recessed in the width direction in the vertical center of the side surface of the floorboard.
A plurality of lightening holes 33 are provided along the width direction inside the floorboard 30, penetrating along the longitudinal direction. In the example shown in the figure, five lightening holes 33 are arranged side by side. This reduces the weight of the floorboard 30 while maintaining its strength.

The fascia panel 40 is a decorative panel arranged to surround the peripheral portion of the floor surface 35 formed by the floor boards 30, and has a first fascia panel 41 extending along the side of the floor boards 30 that form the floor surface 35, and a second fascia panel 42 arranged along the longitudinal end of the floor boards 30.
As shown in FIG. 4 , the first header board 41 is attached and fixed to the end side of the common joist 20 via a header board fixing device 50 .
As shown in FIG. 6 , the second header board 42 is attached and fixed to the longitudinal end of the floor board 30 via a header board fixing tool 50 .

As shown in Figures 4 and 6, the header board 40 has multiple lightening holes 43 along its length, similar to those on the floorboard 30, along its width. This reduces the weight of the header board 40 while maintaining its strength. Furthermore, when fastening the header board 40 to the header board fastener 50 using the fixing screws 45, the fixing screws 45 can easily penetrate, improving workability. The fixing screws 45 may be replaced with other fastening means, such as nails or rivets.

(Backboard fixing device 50)
Next, the specific configuration of the header board fastener 50 will be described with reference to Figures 3 to 8. Figure 7 is a perspective view showing the header board fastener of the first embodiment. Figure 8 is a side view showing the header board fastener of the first embodiment.
The direction of the header board fixing device 50 facing outward from the outer edge of the floor surface 35 is referred to as the outward direction, and the direction facing inward from the outer edge of the floor surface 35 is referred to as the inward direction. The direction perpendicular to the floor surface 35 is referred to as the up-down direction, and the direction perpendicular to the in-outward direction and the up-down direction is referred to as the direction in which the header board extends.

As shown in Figures 7 and 8, the fascia board fixing device 50 has a fascia board support portion 60 that supports the fascia board 40, and a deck-side fixing portion 70 that is attached to a predetermined position on the longitudinal end of the floor joist 20 or floorboard 30, and the fascia board support portion 60 and deck-side fixing portion 70 are molded integrally.

The header support portion 60 is formed in an L-shape by an attachment portion 61 extending in the vertical direction and having an abutment surface 61a that abuts against the back side of the header 40, and a support portion 62 formed on the lower end side of the attachment portion 61 and supporting the underside of the header 40.
An L-shaped protrusion 63 is provided at the upper end of the mounting portion 61, protruding in the opposite direction from the support portion 62. The protrusion 63 ensures a predetermined gap between the floor board 30, which forms the outer edge of the floor surface 35, and the header board 40.

The vertical dimensions of the mounting portion 61 and the position of the support portion 62 are adjusted appropriately depending on the dimensions of the header panel 40. Specifically, by supporting the lower end of the header panel 40 with the support portion 62, adjustments are made to eliminate any step between the upper end of the header panel 40 and the floor surface 35 formed by the floorboards 30. This improves the design of the deck structure 100 equipped with the header panel 40.

The deck-side fixing portion 70 is formed to protrude in a U-shape from the upper portion of the mounting portion 61 in the direction opposite to the abutment surface 61 a, so as to fit into the end of the joist 20 .
The deck side fixing portion 70 has an upper surface portion 71 that protrudes inward from the top of the mounting portion 61, a lower surface portion 72 that protrudes inward from the middle of the mounting portion 61 in the vertical direction, a connecting portion 73 that extends in the vertical direction and connects the inner ends of the upper surface portion 71 and the lower surface portion 72, and an inclined portion 74 consisting of an inclined surface that slopes the lower part of the connecting portion 73 downward and outward.

The inner end of the upper surface portion 71 is bent in a crank shape and has a protruding edge that protrudes slightly in the vertical direction, thereby providing an upper regulating portion 75 that determines the insertion position when inserting the deck side fixing portion 70 into the hole portion 20a of the joist 20.
The inner end of the lower surface portion 72 is bent in a crank shape to provide a lower regulating portion 76 that determines the insertion position when the deck side fixing portion 70 is inserted into the hole portion 20a of the joist 20.

The vertical width of the deck-side fixing part 70 is formed to be shorter than the vertical width of the hole 20a of the floor joist 20. More specifically, the height position of the support part 62 relative to the placement surface when the deck-side fixing part 70 is inserted into the floor joist 20 is aligned with the height position of the support part 62 relative to the placement surface when the upper surface part 71 of the deck-side fixing part 70 is in contact with the underside of the floorboard 30.
Furthermore, by supporting the lower end of the fascia board 40 on the support portion 62, the vertical dimensions of the mounting portion 61 and the fascia board 40 are adjusted so that the upper end of the fascia board 40 and the floor surface 35 are positioned on the same plane.

(Specific method of fixing the fascia board)
Next, a specific method for fixing a curtain board using the curtain board fixing device 50 will be described with reference to Figures 9 to 11. Figure 9 is a diagram showing a method for fixing the first curtain board 41. Figure 10 is a diagram showing a method for fixing the second curtain board. Figure 11 is a plan view showing the arrangement of the fixing boards.

The method for fixing the first fascia board 41 will be described with reference to Figure 9. First, before placing the floorboard 30 that forms the outer edge of the floor surface 35 on the joist 20, the fascia board fixing device 50 is inserted into the hole 20a of the joist 20. At this time, the fascia board fixing device 50 is inserted to a position where the upper and lower restricting portions 75 and 76 catch on the joist 20. Then, the fixing screw 28 is screwed into the second step portion 23 of the joist 20 to fix the fascia board fixing device 50 to the joist 20.

Next, the floorboards 30 that form the outer edge of the floor surface 35 are placed and fixed on top of the joists 20. At this time, the floorboards 30 are fastened to the joists 20 using flat head screws or similar.

Next, the first header 41 is held in a predetermined position using the header support portion 60 of the header fixture 50 fixed to the floor joist 20. In this state, the first header 41 is attached and fixed to the header fixture 50 by screwing the fixing screws 45 from the outer surface of the first header 41 toward the attachment portion 61.
As a result of the above, the first fascia board 41 is attached to the longitudinal end of the joist 20.

The method for fixing the second curtain board 42 will be explained with reference to Figures 10 and 11. First, a fixing plate 55, which is a plate-shaped fixing aid, is inserted into the gap formed when the recesses 32 of adjacent floor boards 30 are arranged facing each other.

Next, set the back panel fixture 50 in the specified position so that the protrusion 63 abuts the longitudinal end face of the floorboard 30 and the upper surface 71 supports the floorboard 30.

Next, at least two fixing screws 56 are inserted through the fixing holes 55a formed in the fixing plate 55 and screwed into the upper surface 71 of the header board fixing device 50. The header board fixing device 50 is thus attached to the floorboard 30 by clamping the floorboard 30 vertically using the fixing plate 55. The fixing screws 56 may be replaced with other fixing means, such as nails or rivets.

Next, the second curtain board 42 is positioned and held in a predetermined position using the curtain board support portion 60 of the curtain board fixture 50 fixed to the longitudinal end of the floorboard 30. In this state, the second curtain board 42 is attached and fixed to the curtain board fixture 50 by screwing the fixing screw 45 from the outer surface of the second curtain board 42 toward the attachment portion 61.
In this way, the second curtain board 42 is attached to the longitudinal end of the floor board 30.
In addition, as shown in Figure 4, the fixing plate 55 can also be inserted into the gap formed by the recesses 32 of adjacent floorboards 30 being arranged opposite each other, and then fixed to the joists 20 or the like with fixing screws 56, thereby fixing the floorboards 30.

Furthermore, as shown in Figure 11, by curving the outer edge of the fixing plate 55 into an arc, the second curtain board 42 can be attached in the same manner even if the outer edge of the floor surface 35 formed by the longitudinal end of the floor board 30 is not rectangular but has an inclined configuration.
When the outer edge of the floor surface 35 formed by the longitudinal ends of the floor plate 30 is rectangular, the fixing plate 55 may be a rectangular plate-like member.

(Assembly process of deck structure 100)
Next, a method for assembling the deck structure 100 using the top panel fastener 50 will be described with reference to Fig. 12. Fig. 12 is a flow chart showing the assembly process.
The method for assembling the deck structure 100 includes a base installation process, a floorboard installation process, a fastener installation process, and a fascia board installation process.

In the base installation process, the support members 10 are arranged side by side on the installation surface, and joists 20 are installed so as to span the upper ends of the support members 10. In this way, a plurality of joists 20 are arranged in parallel at predetermined intervals.
Adjacent joists 20 are connected by connecting members 25 as necessary.

The floorboard installation process involves arranging multiple floorboards 30, each perpendicular to the joists 20, in a row along the longitudinal direction of the joists 20 to form a floor surface 35. As shown in Figure 3, connecting plates are inserted into a pair of recesses 32, 32 formed on the opposing sides of adjacent floorboards 30 and secured to the joists 20 with fixing screws or the like, thereby securing each floorboard 30 to the joists 20.

9, in the fixture installation process, first, the fascia board fixture 50 is attached to the longitudinal end of the joist 20. Then, a pair of floorboards 30 to be placed at the longitudinal end of the joist 20 are installed and fixed to the joist 20 side by screwing with flat head screws or the like. As a result, all of the floorboards 30 that form the floor surface 35 are fixed to the joist 20 side.
Next, as shown in FIG. 10, the top panel fastener 50 is attached to the longitudinal end of the floorboard 30 using the fastening plate 55.

In the panel mounting process, the first panel 41 is screwed to the panel fastener 50 attached to the floor joist 20, and the second panel 42 is screwed to the panel fastener 50 attached to the floorboard 30.
As a result of the above, the deck structure 100 is assembled, with the fascia board 40 provided on the outer edge of the floor surface 35.

(Action and effect)
According to the above-described deck structure 100, costs can be kept low because a single panel fastener 50 can be used to attach the first panel 41 extending along the side of the floorboards 30 that form the floor surface 35, and also to attach the second panel 42 provided along the longitudinal end of the floorboards 30. Furthermore, because it is not necessary to change the panel fastener 50 used depending on the panel 40, there is no risk of mixing up components during assembly, improving workability.

The fascia board fixing device 50 is a single fixing device integrally molded with the fascia board support portion 60 that supports the fascia board 40 and the deck-side fixing portion 70 that is attached to a predetermined position on the longitudinal end of the joist 20 or floorboard 30, thereby reducing the number of parts and improving workability.

As shown in Figure 11, the headboard fastener 50 is configured to clamp the floorboard 30 using a fixing plate 55 placed in the gap formed by a pair of opposing recesses 32, 32, allowing it to be installed along the shape of the end of the floorboard 30. This makes it highly versatile, as the second headboard 42 can be attached even if the longitudinal end of the floorboard 30 is inclined relative to the extension direction of the floorboard 30.

(Modification of the first embodiment)
Next, a modified example of the header board fastener of the first embodiment will be described with reference to Fig. 13. Fig. 13 is a side view showing a modified example of the header board fastener for fastening the second header board.

The top panel fixing device 50A may be provided with support pieces 79 on the upper surface portion 71, which have support surfaces that support the underside of the floorboard 30. In the example shown in Fig. 13, a pair of L-shaped support pieces 79, 79 are provided on the inner end and outer end of the upper surface portion 71, and the support pieces 79 support the underside of the floorboard 30.
According to this configuration, the header board fixing device 50A can be used as a fixing device exclusively for attaching the second header board 42 without changing the overall configuration.

Second Embodiment
Next, a second embodiment of the header board fastener 50B will be described with reference to Figures 14 and 15. Figure 14 is a diagram showing the header board fastener of the second embodiment. Figure 15 is a diagram showing a method of assembling a deck structure using the header board fastener of the second embodiment.

As shown in Figure 14, the fascia board fixing device 50B has a locking piece 81 at the upper end of the mounting portion 61 of the fascia board support portion 60, which is formed in an L-shape and protrudes in the opposite direction from the support portion 62, similar to the protrusion portion 63 of the first embodiment.
The locking piece 81 is formed to be able to be locked in the recess 32 of the floorboard 30 by being longer in the vertical direction than the protrusion 63 of the first embodiment.

As shown in Figure 15, the fascia board fixing device 50B can fix the floorboard 30 by hooking the locking piece 81 into the recess 32 of the floorboard 30 located at the longitudinal end of the joist 20.
According to this configuration, there is no need to use flat head screws or the like when fixing the floorboards 30 installed at the longitudinal ends of the joists 20, so the floor surface 35 can be finished more neatly.

(Third embodiment)
Next, a header board fastener 50C of a third embodiment will be described with reference to Fig. 16. Fig. 16 is a view showing the header board fastener of the third embodiment.

As shown in Figure 16, the curtain board fixing device 50C has a second curtain board support portion 90 formed in an L-shape by a second mounting portion 91 and a second support portion 92 at the lower end side of the curtain board support portion 60 formed in an L-shape by an mounting portion 61 and a support portion 62.
The second header support portion 90 is integrally formed with the header support portion 60 .

By using this type of panel fastener 50C, two panels 40 can be attached vertically side by side to the outer edge of the floor surface 35, making it easy to lengthen the decorative panel in the vertical direction. This makes the side of the deck structure 100 less visible, improving the design and preventing large objects from getting under the deck structure 100.

Additionally, the header board fixing device 50C may be configured to further include an L-shaped header board support portion on the lower end side of the second header board support portion 90. As a result, the header board fixing device 50C can vertically attach three or more (multiple) header boards 40 to the outer edge of the floor surface 35, depending on the number of header board support portions connected in the vertical direction.
This configuration prevents animals, children, unwanted garbage, etc. from getting under the floor surface 35, and also improves crime prevention. Furthermore, when deck structures 100 with low floor surfaces are arranged side by side, the step between adjacent deck structures 100 can be reliably covered and hidden with the fascia board 40.

Note that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and modifications, improvements, etc. are possible as appropriate.
