Description

The present invention relates to a rectangular frame member for wall base, an attachment structure for a rectangular frame member for wall base, and an attachment method for a rectangular frame member for wall base.

In buildings built using wooden framework construction, which uses vertical frame members such as pillars and partitions and horizontal frame members such as foundations and beams as structural members to support loads, a frame member for attaching wall underlayment and wall finish materials is assembled inside a rectangular opening surrounded by a pair of vertical frame members on the left and right and a pair of horizontal frame members on the top and bottom, which form the framework (structural members) of the wall portion such as the exterior wall or partition wall. In recent years, however, in order to shorten construction time and reduce labor, a construction method has been adopted in which rectangular frame members of a size that can be installed inside such rectangular openings are manufactured in advance in a factory, etc., and the manufactured rectangular frame members are transported to the installation site and installed inside a rectangular opening surrounded by a pair of vertical frame members on the left and right and a pair of horizontal frame members on the top and bottom (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

To attach a rectangular frame member for wall base fabricated in advance at a factory or the like to the inside of a rectangular opening surrounded by a pair of vertical frame members on the left and right and a pair of horizontal frame members on the top and bottom, which serve as the structural materials, it is necessary to attach the indoor surface of the rectangular frame member in a state where the indoor surface is precisely aligned with the indoor surfaces of the vertical and horizontal frame members, making it easier to attach the wall base material and wall finish material. However, because the rectangular frame member for wall base fabricated in advance at a factory or the like is quite heavy, it takes a lot of time to fit the rectangular frame member into the inside of the rectangular opening while precisely aligning its indoor surface with the indoor surfaces of the vertical and horizontal frame members.

According to the method of rotating and attaching panels in wooden buildings described in Patent Document 1, a cylindrical protrusion for supporting the panel is attached to the vertical frame member, a groove for fitting the cylindrical protrusion is provided on the frame panel side, and the cylindrical protrusion is fitted into this groove. A rotation prevention bar is attached to the upper end of the frame panel facing the outside of the horizontal frame member, and the frame panel is rotated a quarter turn around the cylindrical protrusion as the central axis, so that the outer surface of the upper end of the frame panel comes into contact with the rotation prevention bar attached to the horizontal frame member, thereby accurately positioning the frame panel in the specified position. This not only makes the structure more complicated, but also makes it more time-consuming to accurately install the panel support cylindrical protrusion, the groove for fitting the cylindrical protrusion, and the rotation prevention bar on the vertical frame member and frame panel so that they can withstand the load.

The present invention aims to provide a rectangular frame member for wall underlayment, an attachment structure for said rectangular frame member for wall underlayment, and an attachment method for said rectangular frame member for wall underlayment, which, using a simple configuration and method, enables a rectangular frame member for wall underlayment, previously manufactured in a factory or the like, to be precisely installed inside a rectangular opening surrounded by a pair of left and right vertical frame members and a pair of top and bottom horizontal frame members, particularly with the indoor side aligned with the indoor sides of the vertical frame members and horizontal frame members.

The present invention achieves the above-mentioned objectives by providing a rectangular frame member for wall underlayment that is attached as a wall underlayment material in a building constructed using wooden post-and-beam construction by fitting it into a rectangular opening surrounded by a pair of left and right vertical frame members that serve as structural members and a pair of upper and lower horizontal frame members that serve as structural members, the frame member including a pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members that are arranged along the inner surfaces of the vertical frame members, and an upper edge horizontal frame member and a lower edge horizontal frame member that are arranged along the inner surfaces of the horizontal frame members, the pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members having a guide piece attached in at least one location on each of the rear faces in the fitting direction of the pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members with an overhang positioning portion that overhangs outward to abut against a surface that faces the vertical frame members in the fitting direction, and the pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members having a temporary panel member that is temporarily fixed in a removable manner by fitting it into the portion between the pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members .

And, in the rectangular frame member for wall base of the present invention, the guide piece is preferably made of plywood.

In addition, it is preferable that the rectangular frame member for wall base of the present invention has a window sash attached to a rectangular area surrounded by the pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members, the upper edge horizontal frame member, and the lower edge horizontal frame member.

Furthermore, it is preferable that the rectangular frame member for wall base of the present invention has an equipment reinforcement section formed of at least a pair of upper and lower intermediate horizontal frame members in a rectangular area surrounded by the pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members, the upper edge horizontal frame member, and the lower edge horizontal frame member.

Furthermore, in the rectangular wall base frame member of the present invention, it is preferable that the window sash is a window sash for a bay window.

In addition, the rectangular frame member for wall base of the present invention is preferably such that the width of the lower edge horizontal frame member in the fitting direction is smaller than the width of the lower end portion of the vertical frame member including the side edge vertical frame member in the fitting direction, so that a rectangular cutout portion is formed in the portion below the lower end portion of the vertical frame member and rearward in the fitting direction, which allows the flooring to be removed.

The present invention achieves the above-mentioned objective by providing a mounting structure for a rectangular wall frame member to which the window sash for the above-mentioned bay window is attached, in which the height of the lower horizontal frame member at the mounting location of the rectangular wall frame member is made lower, and the sum of the height of the lower edge horizontal frame member of the rectangular wall frame member and the height of the horizontal frame member at the lowered portion is the same as the height of the horizontal frame member at both sides of the mounting location of the rectangular wall frame member, so that when the rectangular wall frame member is attached to the rectangular opening, the height position of the upper surface of the lower edge horizontal frame member of the rectangular wall frame member is aligned with the height position of the upper surface of the horizontal frame member at both sides of the mounting location of the rectangular wall frame member.

The present invention also provides a method for attaching any of the above rectangular wall base frame members to a rectangular opening surrounded by a pair of vertical frame members (left and right) that serve as structural members and a pair of horizontal frame members (top and bottom) that serve as structural members, in which the transported rectangular wall base frame member is fitted into the rectangular opening while positioning it in the fitting direction by using the guide pieces as guides and abutting the protruding positioning parts of the guide pieces against the surface that faces the fitting direction of the vertical frame members, thereby achieving the above-mentioned object.

The rectangular frame member for wall base, the mounting structure for said rectangular frame member for wall base, and the mounting method for said rectangular frame member for wall base of the present invention allow a rectangular frame member for wall base that has been manufactured in advance at a factory or the like to be precisely installed with a simple configuration and method inside a rectangular opening surrounded by a pair of left and right vertical frame members and a pair of top and bottom horizontal frame members, with the indoor side in particular aligned with the indoor sides of the vertical frame members and the horizontal frame members.

The rectangular wall frame member 10 (see Figs. 2 and 3) according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention is a frame member that is attached as a wall base material in a wooden frame building by fitting it into a rectangular opening 23 surrounded by a pair of columns 20, which are vertical frame members and a pair of beams 21 and a base 22, which are horizontal frame members. The rectangular wall frame member 10 of this embodiment is manufactured in advance in a factory or the like by assembling mainly wooden square timbers into a rectangular frame shape, and is delivered to the installation site and has a function that allows it to be accurately installed with a simple configuration and method, for example, inside a rectangular opening 23 surrounded by a pair of columns 20, beams 21, and base 22, with the indoor surface 10a in particular aligned with the indoor surfaces 20a and 21a of the columns 20 and beams 21.

The rectangular wall frame member 10 of this embodiment is a frame member that is attached as a wall base material in a building constructed using wooden post-and-beam construction by being fitted into a rectangular opening 23 surrounded by columns 20, which are a pair of left and right vertical frame members that serve as structural members, and bases 22 and beams 21, which are a pair of upper and lower horizontal frame members that serve as structural members. As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the frame member includes a pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members 11 that are arranged along the inner surfaces of the columns 20, an upper edge horizontal frame member 12 that is arranged along the inner surface (lower surface) of the beams 21, and a lower edge horizontal frame member 13 that is arranged along the inner surface (upper surface) of the base 22. A guide piece 14 is attached at least in one place, for example in one place on each of the rear faces (indoor faces) 10a of the pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members 11 in the fitting direction X (see FIG. 1), with a protruding positioning portion 14a protruding outward to abut against the face (indoor face) 20a of the pillar 20 that faces the fitting direction X.

In addition, in this embodiment, a window sash 17 is attached to a rectangular area surrounded by a pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members 11, an upper edge horizontal frame member 12, and a lower edge horizontal frame member 13. In this embodiment, the window sash 17 is, for example, a window sash for a bay window.

In this embodiment, the pair of left and right pillars 20 that form the rectangular opening 23 are made of, for example, 105 x 105 square timber, and are attached in parallel with an interval of, for example, about 1715 mm. Each pillar 20 is joined to the upper surface of a base 22 made of, for example, 105 x 105 square timber, for example, using a known joint metal (not shown), and stands vertically at a height of, for example, 2590 mm, and its upper end is joined to the lower surface of a beam 21 made of, for example, 300 x 105 square timber, using a known joint metal 24. As a result, the rectangular opening 23 opens as a vertically long rectangular opening with a height of, for example, 2590 mm and a width of 1715 mm.

The rectangular frame member 10 for wall base in this embodiment is attached by being fitted into a rectangular opening 23 surrounded by a pair of left and right vertical frame members, the columns 20, and upper and lower horizontal frame members, the sills 22 and beams 21. The rectangular frame member 10 is composed of a pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members 11 made of, for example, 45 x 105 square timber arranged along the inside surface of the columns 20, an upper edge horizontal frame member 12 made of, for example, 45 x 105 square timber arranged along the inside surface (bottom surface) of the beams 21, and a lower edge horizontal frame member 13 made of, for example, 45 x 105 square timber arranged along the inside surface (top surface) of the base 22. The rectangular wall base frame member 10 is formed by assembling these frame members 11, 12, and 13 so that it has a vertically long rectangular outer peripheral shape with a height of about 2587 to 2588 mm and a width of about 1712 to 1713 mm, taking into consideration clearances of about 1 to 1.5 mm on all sides when fitting into the rectangular opening 23.

In addition, in this embodiment, a lintel material 15 made of, for example, 45 x 105 square timber is attached below the upper edge horizontal frame member 12 at a distance of approximately 137 mm from the upper edge horizontal frame member 12 to the upper part of the wall base rectangular frame member 10, and in the gap between the upper edge horizontal frame member 12 and the lintel material 15, multiple (3) partition materials 16 made of, for example, 45 x 105 square timber are attached at intervals in the width direction.

Furthermore, in this embodiment, a window sash 17 for a bay window is preferably attached to the portion between the lintel 15 and the lower edge horizontal frame member 13 in the rectangular area surrounded by the pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members 11, the upper edge horizontal frame member 12, and the lower edge horizontal frame member 13. The window sash 17 is a known one that is manufactured in advance at a factory, etc., and is composed of a sash frame 18 and a sash frame 19 having window glass 19a, as shown in Figure 3. The wall base rectangular frame member 10 is transported to the installation site with only the sash frame 18 attached, and the wall base rectangular frame member 10 is installed in the rectangular opening 23, and the sash frame 19 is attached to the sash frame 18, preferably from the outside, as a single unit, after the wall base rectangular frame member 10 is installed in the rectangular opening 23. The sash frame 18 can be attached integrally to the wall base rectangular frame member 10 by joining the sash fins 18a, which preferably extend flat from the outer periphery, to the front surfaces of the pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members 11, the lintel material 15, and the lower edge horizontal frame member 13 on the indoor side in the fitting direction X, for example, using fixing screws.

In addition, in this embodiment, a temporary panel member 25 is attached to the rectangular frame member 10 for reinforcing the rectangular frame member 10 for wall foundation after the rectangular frame member 10 is manufactured and before it is transported to the installation site and installed in the rectangular opening 23. The temporary panel member 25 is formed by joining a plywood 25b having a width of about 1540 mm and a thickness of about 9 mm to one side of a rectangular frame 25a made of, for example, 36 x 36 square timber, for example. The temporary panel member 25 is preferably fitted between the pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members 11 in the lower region of the rectangular frame member 10 for wall foundation to which the sash frame 18 of the window sash 17 is attached (see FIG. 4), and is temporarily fixed removably, so that the rectangular frame member 10 for wall foundation can be effectively reinforced so that it is not deformed or damaged from the time of manufacture to the time of installation in the rectangular opening 23.

In the rectangular wall base frame member 10 of this embodiment, the guide pieces 14 are attached to at least one location, for example, one location on each of the rear faces (indoor faces) of the pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members 11 in the fitting direction X, with the protruding positioning portion 14a protruding outward so as to abut against the face (indoor face) 20a of the pillar 20 that faces the fitting direction X.

In this embodiment, the guide piece 14 is preferably made of plywood with a thickness of about 12 mm, and is formed to have a rectangular (square) front shape with dimensions of about 100 mm in length and width. The guide piece 14 is removably and firmly fixed to the side edge vertical frame member 11, for example, using fixing screws, so that approximately half of the rectangular (square) front shape overlaps with the rear side surface (indoor side surface) of the side edge vertical frame member 11 in the fitting direction X (see Figure 1). Also, in this embodiment, the guide piece 14 is attached to the side edge vertical frame member 11 at a position that is preferably offset upward from the middle part in the vertical direction, with the overhang positioning portion 14a overhanging outward.

By using plywood as the guide piece 14, which preferably has a rectangular (square) front shape measuring approximately 100 mm in length and width, it is possible to provide the guide piece 14 inexpensively and to prevent it from interfering with the transportation and installation work from the time the wall base rectangular frame member 10 is manufactured until it is transported to the installation site and installed in the rectangular opening 23. The guide piece 14 can also be formed using a resin plate or a metal plate in addition to plywood.

To attach the wall base rectangular frame member 10 having the above-mentioned configuration as a wall base material by fitting it inside a rectangular opening 23 surrounded by a pair of left and right pillars 20, a base 22 and a beam 21, the wall base rectangular frame member 10, which has a considerable weight, is lifted preferably by a lifting means such as a hoist device or a crane, and then attached to the inside of the rectangular opening 23 by pushing the lifted wall base rectangular frame member 10 into the rectangular opening 23 from the indoor side (see Figures 1 (a) and (b)). The outer peripheral shape of the rectangular frame member 10 for wall base is a vertically elongated rectangle with a height of, for example, about 2587 to 2588 mm and a width of, for example, about 1712 to 1713 mm, while the rectangular opening 23 is a slightly larger vertically elongated rectangular opening with a height of, for example, about 2590 mm and a width of, for example, about 1715 mm, and the clearance between these makes it possible to smoothly push the lifted rectangular frame member 10 for wall base into the inside of the rectangular opening 23. In addition, the guide piece 14 is used as a guide to position the protruding positioning portion 14a of the guide piece 14 against the surface (indoor surface) 20a of the column 20, which is a vertical frame member, that faces the fitting direction X, thereby positioning the rectangular wall base frame member 10 in the fitting direction X. The rectangular wall base frame member 10 is then fitted into the rectangular opening 23, and can be installed with high precision, particularly with the indoor surface 10a aligned with the indoor surfaces 20a, 21a of the column 20 and beam 21.

After the rectangular frame member 10 for wall base is precisely attached to the rectangular opening 23 using the guide pieces 14 as guides, the rectangular frame member 10 for wall base is fixed to the rectangular opening 23 by, for example, driving long screws from the inside of the pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members 11 or the inside of the lower edge horizontal frame member 13 toward the inner surface of the pillar 20 or the base 22. After the rectangular frame member 10 for wall base is fixed, the guide pieces 14 and temporary panel members 25 are removed, and the sash frame 19 of the window sash 17 is hung, preferably from the outside side, and attached so as to be supported by the sash frame 18, completing the work of fitting the rectangular frame member 10 for wall base as a wall base material into the rectangular opening 23 surrounded by the pillar 20, beam 21, and base 22.

As a result, this embodiment makes it possible to precisely install the wall base rectangular frame member 10, which has been manufactured in advance in a factory or the like, inside the rectangular opening 23 surrounded by a pair of left and right columns 20, beams 21, and base 22, with the indoor surface 10a aligned with the indoor surfaces 20a, 21a of the columns 20 and beams 21, using a simple configuration and method.

In this embodiment, since a window sash for a bay window is attached as the window sash 17 to the rectangular frame member 10 for a wall base, the mounting structure of such a rectangular frame member 10 for a wall base is such that the height of the base 22, which is the lower horizontal frame member at the mounting location 22a (see FIG. 1(a)) of the rectangular frame member 10 for a wall base, is made one step lower than the portions 22b (see FIG. 1(a)) on both sides of the base, as shown in FIG. 4, and the lower edge horizontal frame member of the rectangular frame member 10 for a wall base is made The height of 13 is adjusted so that the sum of the height of the base 22 at the lowered portion 22a is the same as the height of the base 22 at the portions 22b on both sides of the mounting location of the rectangular frame member 10 for wall underlay. This ensures that when the rectangular frame member 10 for wall underlay is mounted inside the rectangular opening 23, the height position of the top surface of the lower edge horizontal frame member 13 of the rectangular frame member 10 for wall underlay is aligned with the height position of the top surface of the base 22 at the portions 22b on both sides of the mounting location of the rectangular frame member 10 for wall underlay.

That is, in this embodiment, the upper part of the base 22 made of 105 x 105 square timber in the part 22a (see FIG. 1(a)) of the mounting location of the rectangular frame member 10 for the wall base is cut out to a height h of preferably 60 mm, so that the height position of the lower edge horizontal frame member 13 of 45 mm height h' overlapping is aligned with the height position of the upper surface of the base 22 in the part 22b (see FIG. 1(a)) on both sides of the mounting location of the rectangular frame member 10 for the wall base when the rectangular frame member 10 for the wall base is mounted inside the rectangular opening 23. This makes it possible for the window sash 17 mounted on the rectangular frame member 10 for the wall base to easily function as a window sash for a bay window.

Figures 5 and 6 explain the configuration of a rectangular wall frame member 30 according to another preferred embodiment of the present invention. In the rectangular wall frame member 30 shown in Figures 5 and 6, the window sash 17' attached to the rectangular wall frame member 30 is a window sash for an armrest window or a waist-high window, and in the gap between the lower lintel material 15' supporting the window sash 17' and the lower edge horizontal frame member 13' below it, a plurality of lower stud materials 16' made of, for example, 45 x 105 square timber are attached at intervals in the width direction (three pieces).

In another embodiment of the rectangular wall base frame member 30 shown in Figures 5 and 6, as shown in an enlarged view in Figure 7, the width of the lower edge horizontal frame member 13' in the fitting direction X is smaller than the width of the lower end portion of the vertical frame members 11', 16' consisting of the side edge vertical frame member 11' including the side edge vertical frame member 11' and the lower stud member 16' in the fitting direction X, and the lower end notches 11a', 16a' are formed in the rear part of the lower end of the vertical frame members 11', 16' in the fitting direction X, making the width in the fitting direction X the same as that of the lower edge horizontal frame member 13'. As a result, a rectangular cutout portion 27 is formed in the rear part of the lower end portion of the rectangular wall base frame member 30 in the fitting direction X, which allows the floor material 26 to be removed.

In other words, in the wall base rectangular frame member 30 of another embodiment shown in Figures 5 to 7, the lower edge horizontal frame member 13' is formed using, for example, 75 x 66 square timber, and preferably has lower end notches 11a', 16a' with a width of 30 mm formed at the lower ends of the vertical frame members 11', 16', so that a rectangular cutout portion 27 is formed at the lower end and the rear part below this in the fitting direction X of the side edge vertical frame member 11' and the lower stud member 16' made of 45 x 105 square timber. By forming a rectangular cutout portion 27 at the rear part of the lower end portion of the wall base rectangular frame member 30 in the fitting direction X, the floor material 26 can be made removable, and for example, the floor material 26 installed for scaffolding or rainproofing until the wall base rectangular frame member 30 is installed can be removed and a different floor material for floor base can be newly installed. The rectangular wall base frame member 30 of another embodiment shown in Figures 5 and 6 also has guide pieces 14 attached to each of the rear faces of the side edge vertical frame member 11' in the fitting direction X, providing the same effect as the rectangular wall base frame member 10 described above.

Figure 8 illustrates the structure of a rectangular wall frame member 40 according to yet another preferred embodiment of the present invention. In the rectangular wall frame member 40 shown in Figure 8, no window sash is attached, and in the rectangular area surrounded by a pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members 11", an upper edge horizontal frame member 12", and a lower edge horizontal frame member 13", a plurality of partition members 16" are attached at intervals in the width direction by joining their upper and lower ends to the upper edge horizontal frame member 12" and the lower edge horizontal frame member 13", respectively, in parallel with the side edge vertical frame member 11". In addition, in the portion between one side edge vertical frame member 11" and the partition member 16" in the rectangular area, an equipment reinforcement portion 28 is provided by at least a pair of upper and lower intermediate horizontal frame members 28a, as shown in Figure 9.

The rectangular wall base frame member 40 of another embodiment shown in FIG. 8 also has guide pieces 14 attached to each rear surface of the side edge vertical frame member 11" in the fitting direction X, thereby achieving the same effect as the rectangular wall base frame member 10 described above.

The present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments, and various modifications are possible. For example, a wall base rectangular frame member to which a window sash is attached can be further provided with an equipment reinforcement section made of at least a pair of intermediate horizontal frame members. A load-bearing surface material made of plywood or the like can be attached to the rectangular area surrounded by a pair of left and right side edge vertical frame members, an upper edge horizontal frame member, and a lower edge horizontal frame member.
