Abstract

The present invention relates to the exterior structure of a house.

Traditionally, exterior structures have been built around the perimeter of the property to surround the house from the outside, and these exterior structures are used to increase crime prevention. For example, fence-like barriers made of precast concrete or concrete blocks are used as exterior structures, and the house is concealed by such barriers, ensuring the privacy of the residents.

In other words, the area south of the road surface 1d is a road on which people and vehicles pass. Therefore, the second site 1b is often used as a parking space. Concrete slabs are laid on the second site 1b.

The house 2 of this embodiment is constructed using a panel construction method in which building components such as walls, floors, and roofs are panelized in advance at a factory and then assembled at the construction site to construct the house. However, the house can also be constructed using conventional frame construction or wall construction methods such as wooden, steel-frame construction, and reinforced concrete construction.

The fence 30 has a fifth fence 35 located on an extension of a sleeve wall provided at the western end of the main house 3, a first fence 31 extending to the east side perpendicular to the fifth fence 35 in a plan view and separating the first site 1a from the second site 1b, a second fence 32 parallel to the first fence 31 in a plan view, a third fence 33 located on an extension of the second fence 32 in a plan view, and a fourth fence 34 extending to the east side parallel to the third fence 33 in a plan view and reaching the east-side fence 1f.
Each of these fences 31 to 35 is made of, for example, fiber reinforced plastics (FRP) and is lightweight enough to be carried by a single worker. That is, each of the fences 31 to 35 is made up of fence units constructed in a portable state. The fence units constituting each of the fences 31 to 35 are free-standing with their lower ends buried in the ground, but may also be installed with their lower ends connected to a footing member buried in the ground.

Although the fifth wall 35 is not integrally formed with the sleeve wall 4e of the main body of the house, their ends are located close to each other. The thicknesses of the sleeve wall 4e and the fifth wall 35 are set to be approximately the same. Therefore, the sleeve wall 4e and the fifth wall 35 look as if they are one integral wall. However, the height of the fifth wall 35 from the ground is set to about 1000 mm, which is lower than the sleeve wall 4e.

As described above, the first fence 31 extends to the east perpendicular to the fifth fence 35 in plan view, is located at the southernmost part of the fences 30, and separates the first site 1a from the second site 1b for the longest distance. In other words, the first fence 31 has the largest area facing the first site 1a and the second site 1b. The first fence 31 is formed integrally with the fifth fence 35 and is set at the same height as the fifth fence 35.

As described above, the second wall 32 is disposed parallel to the first wall 31 in a plan view, and is located north of the first wall 31. The western end of the second wall 32 is located west of the eastern end of the first wall 31, and the eastern end of the second wall 32 is located east of the eastern end of the first wall 31. As shown in Fig. 1, the second wall 32 is set to be higher than the first wall 31. The height dimension of the second wall 32 from the ground is set to, for example, about 1100 to 1500 mm.
A gap is left between the first fence 31 and the second fence 32. This allows easy line of sight, making it difficult for intruders attempting to enter the property 1 to be seen from both inside and outside the property 1. In addition, air can easily circulate through the gap, making it difficult for moisture to accumulate in the front yard, which also contributes to improving the ventilation of the main house 3 itself. It is also preferable to plant plants P between the first fence 31 and the second fence 32, as this allows line of sight and wind to pass through while preventing intrusion by people.

As described above, the third fence 33 is located on an extension of the second fence 32 in a plan view, and is spaced apart from the second fence 32. The third fence 33 is set to the same height as the second fence 32. The space between the second fence 32 and the third fence 33 is a gate 36, which is an entrance and exit for moving between the first site 1a and the second site 1b.

As described above, the fourth fence 34 extends to the east side in parallel to the third fence 33 in a plan view and is located at the northernmost part of the fence 30, with its east end reaching the east-side fence 1f. Furthermore, the west end of this fourth fence 34 is located west of the east end of the third fence 33, and its east end is located east of the east end of the third fence 33. The fourth fence 34 is set to the same height as the third fence 33.
There is also a gap between the third fence 33 and the fourth fence 34. This allows easy line of sight, making it difficult for intruders attempting to break into the property 1 to see them from both inside and outside the property 1. In addition, the gap allows air to circulate easily, making it difficult for moisture to accumulate near the entrance porch 1c, which also contributes to improving the ventilation of the main house 3 itself. It is also preferable to plant plants P between the third fence 33 and the fourth fence 34, as this allows line of sight and wind to pass through while preventing people from entering.

The gate 36 is opened or closed by a gate device 37. The gate device 37 is a so-called parent-child opening type, and has a wide parent door 37a and a narrow child door 37b. Both gate bodies (parent door 37a, child door 37b) are arranged symmetrically and operate in contrast to each other. In this embodiment, the parent door 37a is located on the second wall 32 side, and the child door 37b is located on the third wall 33 side.
Each gate body in the gate device 37 of this embodiment is attached via a hinge to a post fixed to each of the fences 33, 34. However, this is not limited to this, and each gate body may be attached via a hinge to a post erected adjacent to each of the fences 33, 34.

In addition, in the front yard, an out-living area 9 is provided as an outdoor space that is used as a place where the residents usually stay, similar to the indoor first floor living room 16, and extends from the south exterior wall 4 (front exterior wall 4) of the main house 3.
The outdoor living space 9 of this embodiment is a terrace portion having a floor portion 9a formed of a plurality of deck materials. The height position of the upper surface (floor surface) of the floor portion 9a is set to be substantially equal to the height of the floor surface of the first layer 3a of the main body 3 of the house.

The south exterior wall 4 of the main body 3 of the house has a first exterior wall 4a on the west side (a first portion of the front exterior wall 4), a second exterior wall 4b extending southward from the eastern end of the first exterior wall 4a in a plan view, and a third exterior wall 4c (a second portion of the front exterior wall 4) extending eastward from the southern end of the second exterior wall 4b in a plan view. These first exterior wall 4a, second exterior wall 4b, and third exterior wall 4c are integrally formed in a crank shape.

The floor 9a of the out-living area 9 is arranged close to the first outer wall 4a and the second outer wall 4b, but does not protrude eastward beyond the second outer wall 4b, and is not adjacent to the third outer wall 4c.
The floor section 9a is disposed adjacent to the front (south side) of the house 2 and is a floating floor unit placed on the ground without being fixed to the house 2. However, the present invention is not limited to this and the floor section 9a may be fixed to the house 2.
In this embodiment, the floor portion 9a is disposed close to the fifth fence 35, but spaced apart from the first fence 31 on the south side. In other words, the floor portion 9a is closely surrounded by the first outer wall 4a, the second outer wall 4b, and the fifth fence 35 on the west side. The space between the floor portion 9a and the first fence 31 on the south side is the ground, which is used as a planting space in which various types of plants P can be planted, such as shrubs (here, 2 to 3 meters or less in height) or plants shorter or taller than shrubs.

In the front yard, on the east side of the floor 9a and on the south side of the third exterior wall 4c, there is provided a garden approach 1g that branches off from the entrance approach 1e and a planting space that is continuous with the planting space provided between the floor 9a and the south side wall 1f. This planting space is provided in a position close to the first wall 31 and the second wall 32.
As shown in FIG. 6, the garden approach 1g is formed with a slope that gradually rises from the entrance approach 1e side end toward the outside living 9 side end. The floor 9a of the outside living 9 is set one step higher than the highest part of the garden approach 1g. That is, the part of the front yard where the floor 9a of the outside living 9 is installed is formed by embankment E and set higher than other parts of the first site 1a. In this embodiment, the highest part of the embankment E is constructed to a height of about 400 to 600 mm (500 mm in this embodiment), and the floor 9a is installed on top of it. In addition, the height dimension of the floor 9a itself is set to about 200 to 400 mm (260 mm in this embodiment).
In addition, a plurality of stepping stones (stepping stones) on which people can place their feet when walking are provided in a line at intervals on the garden approach 1g.

The upper part of the entrance porch 1c is set one step higher than the lower part of the entrance porch 1c and one step lower than the floor surface of the first floor 3a of the main body 3 of the house. In other words, the upper surface of the upper part of the entrance porch 1c is lower in height than the upper surface of the floor 9a of the outside living area 9.

An entrance opening 4d is provided facing the entrance porch 1c at the eastern end of the front (south side) of the house body 3. To explain in more detail, an opening is formed in a part of the third exterior wall 4c located on the easternmost side of the south exterior wall 4, and the entrance opening 4d that is opened and closed by the entrance door is formed in the exterior wall part (the fourth part of the front exterior wall 4) provided behind the opening.

Next, the interior of the main body 3 of the house will be described with reference to Figures 3 to 5.

An entrance 10 is provided at a position past the entrance opening 4d.
The entrance 10 has an earthen floor section 10a, which has a floor surface at approximately the same height as the upper section, an entrance hall section 10b, which is one step higher than the earthen floor section 10a, and a walk-in cloakroom 10c. The floor height position of the entrance hall section 10b is the same as the floor height position of the entire first floor (first layer 3a).

There is an entrance with fittings on the west side of the north end of the entrance hall 10b, and a first floor room 16 is located beyond the entrance.
In addition, when entering the first floor living room 16 from the entrance 10, there is a corridor-like space 11 extending to the north, with a bathroom room 12 on the east side of the corridor-like space 11 and a master bedroom 13 on the north side.

The wet room 12 is located on the north side of the walk-in cloakroom 10c in the entrance 10, and contains a toilet 12a, a washroom 12b, a laundry room 12c, and a bathroom 12d.
The entrance connecting the corridor-like space 11 and the water-related room 12 is provided at the eastern edge of the corridor-like space 11, and the entrance faces the washroom 12b. In other words, when you pass through the entrance and enter the water-related room 12, you are in the washroom 12b, and the toilet 12a is located to the east of it. Furthermore, the laundry room 12c and the bathroom 12d are located to the north of that.

The master bedroom 13 can be accessed through a doorway at the north end of the corridor-like space 11. The master bedroom 13 is located north of the first floor living room 16 and west of the laundry room 12c and bathroom 12d in the water-related room 12. As shown in FIG. 4, the upper space of the master bedroom 13 is an open-ceiling space that reaches up to the ceiling of the second floor 3b, and is adjacent to the bedroom 21 on the second floor 3b.

A first low-ceiling storage room 14 is provided to the west of the master bedroom 13. A second low-ceiling storage room 15 is provided to the west of the first low-ceiling storage room 14. The first low-ceiling storage room 14 and the second low-ceiling storage room 15 are provided between the first floor and the second floor. In other words, the second floor that constitutes the floor of the second floor 3b is provided above a portion of the first floor that constitutes the floor of the first floor 3a, and the space between the first floor and the second floor is the first low-ceiling storage room 14 and the second low-ceiling storage room 15.

The first low-ceiling storage room 14 and the second low-ceiling storage room 15 have a ceiling height set at 0.8m to 1.4m. This ceiling height of 0.8m to 1.4m is a height range that ensures the minimum height at which a person can enter the first low-ceiling storage room 14 and the second low-ceiling storage room 15 and still be able to work, and by keeping the ceiling height to a minimum in this way, it is possible to minimize the impact of the increased height of the house 2 on adjacent buildings, such as reduced sunlight.

The first low-ceiling storage room 14 has an entrance between it and the master bedroom 13, and can only be accessed from the master bedroom 13. In other words, the first low-ceiling storage room 14 is a storage space attached to the master bedroom 13, and is easy to use for residents who spend their daily time in the master bedroom 13. This first low-ceiling storage room 14 is also used to store items that are replaced with each season.

The second low-ceiling storage room 15 has an entrance between it and the first floor occupant room 16, and is configured to be entered and exited through the entrance provided between it and the first floor occupant room 16. In other words, the second low-ceiling storage room 15 is a storage space attached to the first floor occupant room 16, and is easily usable by the resident who spends his or her daily time in the first floor occupant room 16.
The second low-ceiling storage room 15 is roughly divided into north and south by a sleeve wall 15a that protrudes from the outer wall on the side of the first floor living room 16. Disaster prevention supplies and the like that are not normally used are stored in the space behind the sleeve wall 15a, and everyday items and the like that are normally used are stored in the space in front of the sleeve wall 15a on the first floor living room 16 side.

The first floor living room 16 is a room that combines the functions of a dining room 17 (hereinafter, dining 17), a living room 18 (hereinafter, living 18), and a kitchen room 19 (hereinafter, kitchen 19) in one room.
The first floor living room 16 is longer in the east-west direction than in the north-south direction, with the dining room 17 on the west side and the living room 18 and kitchen 19 on the east side. The living room 18 is located on the south side, and the kitchen 19 is located on the north side.

The dining room 17 is located at the western end and southern end of the main body 3 of the house, and is adjacent to the out-living room 9 via the first exterior wall 4a located on the south side.
The first exterior wall 4a is provided with a sweep window 5. The outside living room 9 is provided so as to protrude from the first exterior wall 4a, and through the sweep window 5, one can freely move between the dining room 17 and the outside living room 9.
The dining room 17 is equipped with a dining table 17a, and a seating area 17b is installed along the west exterior wall. The outdoor living room 9 also has a seating area 9b. The two seating areas 17b, 9b are adjacent to each other across the bay window 5. This gives the impression of continuity between the dining room 17 and the outdoor living room 9. The height of the seating area 9b is set so that it does not protrude above the top ends of the fifth fence 35 and the first fence 31. When the outdoor living room 9 is viewed from outside the site 1, the seating area 9b is not noticeable, resulting in a good appearance.

The living room 18 and kitchen 19 are located to the east of the dining room 17.
A kitchen counter 19a is installed in the kitchen 19. The kitchen counter 19a is a peninsula kitchen that is adjacent to the inner wall on the side of the corridor-like space 11. The north and south sides of this inner wall are spaces that are recognized as passageways or entrances, and a circulation line can be formed around the kitchen counter 19a.

The living room 18 is adjacent to the front yard via the third exterior wall 4c located on the south side.
The third exterior wall 4c is provided with a waist-high window 6 whose lower end is located at about waist height (for example, about 80 to 100 cm from the floor).
In the living room 18, a seat 18b is provided below the lower end of the waist-high window 6. Therefore, when a person sits on the seat 18b and turns around, the outdoor space can be seen through the waist-high window 6.

The above-mentioned second low-ceiling storage room 15 is located to the north of the dining room 17, and access can be gained through an entrance provided between the dining room 17 and the second low-ceiling storage room 15.
And on the east side of the entrance, there is a staircase 3c that connects the first floor of the first floor 3a to the second floor of the second floor 3b. At the top of the staircase 3c there is a corridor, and on the north side of the corridor, as shown in Figure 4, there are two bedrooms 20, 21, which are the places where the residents spend their daily lives, arranged side by side from east to west.

On the south side of the corridor at the top of the stairs 3c, there is a second-floor room 22 that faces the upper space of the first-floor rooms 16 and is used as a multi-purpose space (home commons) shared by the residents. The second-floor room 22 is located toward the western end of the main house 3 and adjacent to the upper space of the first-floor rooms 16 at the western end where the dining room 17 is located. In other words, the second-floor room 22 is located adjacent to one longitudinal end of the first-floor rooms 16 in a plan view.

The second-level room 22 is separated from the upper space of the first-level room 16 by a second-level partition wall provided between the second-level room 22 and the upper space of the first-level room 16. In addition, at least one second-level opening is formed in the second-level partition wall.
More specifically, the second floor partition wall has a first partition wall 23 facing one longitudinal end (west end) of the first floor room 16, and a second partition wall 24 arranged perpendicular to the first partition wall 23 in a plan view. The first partition wall 23 is arranged perpendicular to the west outer wall of the house main body 3 in a plan view. The second partition wall 24 is arranged at the end of the first partition wall 23 located on the other longitudinal end side (east side) of the first floor room 16 and extends toward the north side. The second floor room 22 is surrounded by the west outer wall of the house main body 3, the first partition wall 23, the second partition wall 24, and an inner wall 25 between the bedroom 21. The entrance of the second floor room 22 is provided between the second partition wall 24 and the inner wall 25.
In addition, in the second floor room 22, a desk 22a is arranged along the first partition wall 23. The desk 22a may be a built-in counter.

A first opening 23a serving as a second floor opening is formed at the eastern end of the first partition wall 23 directly below the ceiling.
Further, a second opening 24a serving as a second floor opening is formed at the south end of the second partition wall 24 directly below the ceiling.
That is, the first opening 23a and the second opening 24a are disposed close to the intersection of the first partition wall 23 and the second partition wall 24. Therefore, for example, when one looks straight ahead from the position of the desk 22a, the dining room 17 and the outside living room 9 come into view, and when one looks to the left from the same position, the living room 18, the kitchen 19, and outdoor spaces other than the outside living room 9 come into view.
Both the first opening 23a and the second opening 24a are fixed windows with glass fitted in. However, this is not limited thereto, and both the first opening 23a and the second opening 24a may be in a state where no glass, sash, or the like is fitted in them.

As shown in Fig. 5, the first floor room 16 has an open ceiling space that reaches directly below the sloping roof 7, and is adjacent to the second floor room 22. The ceiling 16a of the first floor room 16 is a sloped ceiling, and its upper end is set to the same height as the ceilings of the rooms on the second floor 3b. Therefore, when the second floor room 22 is viewed from the first floor room 16 through the first opening 23a and the second opening 24a, which are the second floor openings, and when the first floor room 16 is viewed from the second floor room 22 through the first opening 23a and the second opening 24a, which are the second floor openings, the first floor room 16 and the second floor room 22 appear to have continuity, so that the impression of being cramped is unlikely to be given even in a single-story house 2. Moreover, when looking at the first-level habitable room 16 from the second-level room 22, the sloped ceiling 16a naturally comes into view when looking at the second-level openings, the first opening 23a and the second opening 24a, and the line of sight tends to be directed downward along the sloped ceiling 16a, making it easier to check on the state of the family members in the first-level habitable room 16 compared to, for example, a case in which the ceiling of the first-level habitable room 16 is a horizontal ceiling. At the lower end of the sloped ceiling 16a, a space 16b for installing indirect lighting is provided.

In the house 2 configured as described above, the residents can work from home or do other tasks in the second floor room 22. The resident working in the second floor room 22 and the other residents in the first floor rooms 16 and the outside living room 9 can sense each other's presence by seeing each other and hearing each other's voices.

(Security structure on the premises)
The site 1 is provided with a number of security structures to prevent intrusion from outsiders and improve crime prevention.

First, as mentioned above, site 1 is surrounded by fence 1f except for road frontage 1d, and fence 1f is the boundary with the neighboring land. In other words, fence 1f is the outermost security line. Therefore, people, including residents and guests, enter and exit through road frontage 1d, which does not have fence 1f.

When one enters the site 1 from the road surface 1d, one can enter the second site 1b. The second site 1b is used as a parking space, so if a car is parked there, people will have to avoid the car when passing through. Therefore, people will naturally be guided to the gate 36 (the entrance approach 1e).
In this embodiment, the gate bodies 37a and 37b of the gate device 37 that opens and closes the gate 36 are provided with multiple horizontal frames, and the gate device 37 has a structure with excellent transparency because the line of sight passes between the multiple horizontal frames. Therefore, people cannot hide themselves behind the gate device 37.

A person guided to the entrance approach 1e can open the gate device 37, pass through the gate 36, and enter the first site 1a. To the right after passing through the gate 36 is the entrance porch 1c, and if heading toward the entrance opening 4d, one must climb the entrance porch 1c, which is formed in two levels. When climbing the entrance porch 1c, the person's figure (upper body) protrudes above the top end of the fourth fence 34 and can be seen from outside.
When viewed from the front, a person standing on the entrance porch 1c can be seen from the outside protruding above the top end of the fourth fence 34, but when viewed from the gate device 37 side, the entire body can be seen because the gate device 37 is configured to be in the line of sight. Furthermore, because the fence 1f is set lower than the fourth fence 34, the person's figure can be seen from the neighboring property side.

Furthermore, if you go left after passing through the gate 36, you will come to a front yard, at the back of which the outdoor living area 9 is provided. To get to the outdoor living area 9, you will go up the sloping garden approach 1g formed by embankment E. When proceeding along the garden approach 1g towards the outdoor living area 9, a person's figure (upper body) will protrude above the top ends of the first fence 31 and the second fence 32 and will be visible from the outside. In particular, because the first fence 31 is set lower than the second fence 32, the further you proceed, the more exposed your figure will be to the outside.
When viewed from the front, a person walking along the garden approach 1g appears to protrude above the upper ends of the first and second fences 31, 32 from the outside, but when viewed from the gate device 37 side, the gate device 37 is configured to be in the line of sight, so the entire body can be captured. Furthermore, a gap is formed between the first and second fences 31, 32, so the person's figure can be seen through this gap as well.
Furthermore, if a person attempts to enter the house through the waist-high window 6, the person's figure will necessarily be positioned above the upper end of the second fence 32. Therefore, the entire body of a person entering the house through the waist-high window 6 will be visible from the outside.

When one step is raised from the garden approach 1g to the floor 9a of the outside living room 9, the height position becomes higher, so it becomes possible to see the figure of the person, including most of the upper and lower body, from the outside. Therefore, the figure of the person in the outside living room 9 can be seen not only from the front, but also from the gate device 37 side, from the gap between the first fence 31 and the second fence 32, and from the neighboring land on the west side over the fence 1f. Since most of the person's figure is visible, it is possible to see from the outside even if the person is bent over. For this reason, if a person tries to enter the house through the bay window 5, the person's figure will necessarily be located above the upper ends of the fifth fence 35 and the first fence 31, and most of the figure of the person entering the house through the bay window 5 will be visible from the outside.

Furthermore, if there is a resident in the out living room 9, they will be higher than the road and second site 1b, so they have a good view and can easily see people passing on the road. Therefore, even if someone tries to climb over the fence 30 and enter the first site 1a, they can be easily seen from the out living room 9, so the people in the out living room 9 can immediately take refuge. Furthermore, even if someone hides behind the fence 30 and tries to enter through the gate 36, they can be seen through the gap between the first fence 31 and the second fence 32, so the people in the out living room 9 can immediately take refuge.

According to this embodiment, the following excellent effects are obtained.
That is, the floor 9a of the out-living room 9 provided between the first portion of the front outer wall 4 where the sweep window 5 is provided and the first fence 31 is provided on the embankment E built on the ground between the first portion and the first fence 31, so that the person on the out-living room 9 is at a higher position than the embankment E built on the ground. The floor 9a of the out-living room 9 is set at a height approximately equal to the floor of the room 16 (17) provided on the indoor side of the sweep window 5, and the first fence 31 is installed so that its upper end is located above the floor of the out-living room 9 and below the vertical center of the sweep window 5, so that when the out-living room 9 is viewed from outside the site 1, most of the people in the out-living room 9 can be seen. In addition, by opening the sweep window 5, the room 16 (17) provided on the indoor side and the out-living room 9 can be used as a space with continuity. As a result, the outside living room 9 and the sliding window 5 are not completely hidden by the first fence 31, and the open feeling of the house 2 is not easily lost. Moreover, most of the figures of people attempting to enter the house from the outside living room 9 through the sliding window 5 can be seen from outside, improving crime prevention.
Furthermore, people in the outside living room 9 can see the outside of the site 1 from a high position, providing a good view and making it possible to check people entering and leaving the site 1, which is preferable in terms of crime prevention.

In addition, the front exterior wall 4 is provided with a waist-high window 6 whose lower end is located above the lower end of the bay window 5, and the fence 30 is provided with the waist-high window 6 in the front exterior wall 4, and also includes a second fence 32 erected in front of a second section disposed adjacent to the first section in a front view, and the upper end of the second fence 32 and the lower end of the waist-high window 6 are at approximately the same height, so that the waist-high window 6 is not tightly concealed by the second fence 32, and the open feeling of the house 2 is not easily impaired. In recent years, there has been a demand for a carbon-neutral society, which reduces carbon dioxide emissions to virtually zero, and for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the construction industry is also working to build buildings using wood, which produces less carbon dioxide.
