Description

The present invention relates to a structure for attaching a child seat cover that can cover almost the entire front child seat fixed to the handlebars of a bicycle or a rear child seat fixed to the rear carrier of a bicycle to the child seat.

As described above, the present invention relates to a structure for attaching a child seat cover (hereinafter simply referred to as a "cover") that can cover substantially the entire front or rear child seat (hereinafter simply referred to as a "seat") to the seat.

As is well known today, the most typical type of seat is a front child seat in which the seat and back are formed as one piece, with foot rests on both front sides of the seat and a handle on the front of the seat, and the seat is fixed to the handlebars and handle post of the bicycle.
In this type, there are some that have a headrest-shaped upper part in the back surface and some that do not; in those that have a headrest, the upper part of the back surface is formed in the shape of a headrest, and there are recesses on both the left and right sides of the lower edge of the headrest.

Additionally, some front child seats are pre-installed on the handlebars.
This type of seat has a handlebar section whose central portion is curved into an approximately U-shape and which is pre-installed on the curved handlebar section. In this type of seat, the footrest is located in front of the seat section, and a handle section whose one side can be removed is also provided in front of the seat section.

On the other hand, rear child seats have a seat that is fixed to the rear carrier of the bicycle, foot rests that are located on either side of the rear wheel of the bicycle, and a headrest that can slide up and down is provided on the back of the seat.
Of course, there are also types of seats in which the headrest does not slide up and down, but is integrated with the backrest. In these seats, like the front child seat, there are recesses on both the left and right sides of the lower edge.

Child seat covers of various shapes that can cover almost the entire front and rear seats except for the bottom surface of the seat are commercially available.
The present invention relates to an attachment structure for attaching this child seat cover to the above-mentioned front or rear child seat, in which an attachment aid is used when attaching the cover to the seat. An example of this attachment aid is the attachment aid plate described in the following Patent Document 1, which was previously proposed by the applicant of the present application.

The invention described in the following Patent Document 1 aims to provide an attachment aid plate that can hold the height position of the child seat cover at an appropriate height position when attaching the child seat cover to the child seat.

Its configuration is an attachment aid (attachment aid plate) used when attaching a child seat cover to a child seat fixed to the handlebars or rear carrier of a bicycle, the front part of this attachment aid can be joined to the back of the child seat, an attachment member is provided on the back part, and attachment means for attaching this attachment aid to the child seat is provided at an appropriate position on the attachment aid, so that the attachment aid can be attached to the child seat and the attachment member on the back part of this attachment aid can be attached to the child seat and the attachment member on the back part of the attachment aid can be attached to the attachment member provided on the inside of the back part of the child seat cover, allowing the child seat cover to be attached at an appropriate height position.

The mounting aid plate in the above conventional mounting structure was designed with the intention that it could be attached to any type of child seat. However, because there are many different types of child seats, it was found that there are types of child seats that cannot be properly attached using the above conventional mounting aid plate, such as those that do not have a headrest or those in which the headrest and backrest are integrally formed.

Therefore, the first objective of the present invention is to invent an attachment aid that can be properly attached to child seats that do not have a headrest as described above and in which the back portion of the seat is integrally formed (a type that does not have the shape of a headrest), and to propose an attachment structure using this.
Of course, this mounting structure can be applied to a seat having a headrest provided on the upper part of the back surface, or to a seat with an integrated headrest, or to a back surface having the shape of the headrest itself.

Another objective of the present invention is to propose an attachment structure that prevents the top of the child's head from touching the top of the cover as much as possible when the child is seated in the child seat, and, even if it does come into contact, allows the child seat cover to be attached at an appropriate height so that too much weight of the cover is not placed on the top of the child's head, and also stabilizes the shape of the cover.

In order to solve the above problems, the first aspect of the present invention is an attachment structure for attaching a child seat cover to a child seat fixed to the handlebars or rear carrier of a bicycle, the attachment structure uses an attachment aid separate from the child seat cover to attach the child seat cover to the child seat, the attachment aid is attached to the back of the child seat by attachment means provided at an appropriate position on the attachment aid, and an attachment member provided on the back of the attachment aid is attached to an attachment member provided on the inside of the back part of the child seat cover, thereby attaching the child seat cover to the child seat. This is an attachment structure for a child seat cover for a bicycle, characterized in that the attachment means provided on the attachment aid comprises a pair of hook members provided on the upper part of the front surface of the main body of the attachment aid and at least one lower belt member provided on the lower part of the main body, the pair of hook members have hooking portions with openings facing downward that can be hooked onto the upper edge or middle edge or hole of the child seat, and the lower belt member is attached by being hung across a frame including the bicycle rack, allowing the child seat cover to be attached to the child seat.
Here, the "front" of the "front portion" of the mounting aid refers to the direction in which the bicycle moves when the mounting aid is attached to the child seat of the bicycle. On the other hand, the "rear" refers to the opposite side.

The second aspect of the present invention is an attachment structure for a child bicycle seat cover, which is characterized in that in the first aspect, the lower belt member is provided with connectors on both ends of the belt member that can be connected to each other, the lower belt member is hung across a frame including the bicycle carrier to connect the connectors to each other, and then the ends of the belt member can be pulled and tensioned.

The third aspect of the present invention is the attachment structure for a child bicycle seat cover according to the first aspect of the present invention, characterized in that two lower belt members are provided, each of which has a connecting and fixing part at its tip, and the connecting and fixing part at the tip of each of the lower belt members is fixed to the bicycle frame or the lower front part of the side of the child seat body or the handle part.

The fourth aspect of the present invention is a mounting structure for a child bicycle seat cover according to the first to third aspects of the present invention, characterized in that the lower belt member is made of a stretchable belt-like belt.

The fifth aspect of the present invention is a mounting structure for a child bicycle seat cover, characterized in that the rear side of the mounting aid described in the first to fourth inventions is joined and fixed to the inside of the rear side of the child bicycle seat cover.

The first aspect of the present invention is an attachment structure for attaching a child seat cover to a child seat fixed to the handlebars or rear carrier of a bicycle, and the attachment structure uses an attachment aid separate from the child seat cover to attach the child seat cover to the child seat, and the attachment aid is attached to the back of the child seat by an attachment means provided at an appropriate position on the attachment aid, and the child seat cover can be attached to the child seat by engaging an attachment member provided on the back of the attachment aid with an attachment member provided on the inside of the back of the child seat cover.

In other words, this mounting aid can be attached to the back side of various types of seats, and the fastening member on the back can be mutually engaged with the fastening member on the inside of the back of the cover, so the height position of the cover can be freely maintained at any height when mounting.

As a result, by attaching the rear part of the cover to the main body of the mounting aid to match the sitting height of the child sitting on the seat, the height position of the top of the cover can be appropriately set and changed, and the top of the child's head will not come into contact with the top of the cover in the internal space of the cover, or even if it does come into contact, the weight of the cover will not be directly placed on the child's head, improving the living environment.

The mounting structure of the present invention is designed to be mounted on a type of seat that does not have a headrest, and the mounting means comprises a pair of hook members provided on the upper part of the front surface of the main body of the mounting aid, and at least one lower belt member provided on the lower part of the main body. The pair of hook members have their hooking openings facing downward, and can be mounted by hooking the openings onto the upper or middle edge of the child seat or onto a hole provided on the back of the seat.

The above-mentioned seat holes refer to holes for seat belts provided in the seat back surface, and these holes are provided in pairs at appropriate height positions on the seat back surface.
On the other hand, the lower belt member can be attached by hanging it over the frame of the bicycle, such as the handle post or the frame of the luggage rack, and the mounting aid of the present invention is attached to the back of the seat by the pair of hook members and the lower belt member.
That is, in the present invention, the mounting aid can be mounted on the rear side of the rear surface of the seat at three points, namely, the pair of hook members and the lower belt member.

As described above, the mounting aid according to the present invention is firmly mounted and fixed to the rear side of the rear part of the seat at at least three points by the pair of hook members and at least one lower belt member.
Thereafter, the fastening member provided on the rear part of the main body of the mounting aid and the fastening member provided on the inside of the rear part of the cover can be engaged with each other, thereby allowing the cover to be attached at an appropriate height position.

In a second aspect of the present invention, the lower belt member is more specifically defined.
In other words, the lower belt member is provided with connecting devices on both end sides of the belt member that can be connected to each other, and the lower belt member is hung across a frame including the bicycle rack to connect the connecting devices together, and then the ends of the belt member can be pulled and taut.

In the third aspect of the present invention, the lower belt member is further specified, and two lower belt members are provided, each of which has a connecting and fixing part at its tip, and the connecting and fixing part at the tip of each of the lower belt members can be fixed to the bicycle frame or the lower front part of the side of the child seat body or the handle part.

In a fourth aspect of the present invention, the lower belt member is formed of a stretchable belt.
By making the lower belt member stretchable in this manner, the lower belt member can be easily tensioned.

In the fifth mounting structure of the present invention, the mounting aid specified in the first to fourth inventions above is integrated into the child seat cover, that is, the rear side of the mounting aid described in any one of the first to fourth inventions above is joined and fixed to the inside of the rear side of the child seat cover.
This makes it possible to easily attach the cover to the seat by utilizing the attachment aid fixed to the inside of the rear surface of the child seat cover.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 1 is an explanatory view of the front side of one embodiment of a mounting aid which is a component of the mounting structure of the present invention.
FIG. 2 is an explanatory view of the rear side of the putting aid according to the embodiment.

As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the main body 11 of the wearing aid 10 according to the wearing structure of the present invention has a substantially pentagonal shape similar to the shape of a baseball home base when viewed from the front.
The main body 11 is formed in a plate shape, and is preferably flexible.

Of course, it is also possible to freely fit a synthetic resin core material inside the main body 11 .
The core material can be, for example, bee pollen, but it may also be a thick sheet of cloth.

Furthermore, the main body 11 may be made by combining strip-shaped members lengthwise and widthwise to knit into a single sheet-like object, and there is no problem even if gaps are provided during the knitting process.

In short, it should be a sheet-like, plate-like, or mesh-like object that can be appropriately placed over the rear of the child car seat (the part that supports the baby's back and head).

A pair (two) of hook members 12, 12 are provided on the left and right sides of the upper portion of the front side of the main body 11 (see FIG. 1).
These hook members 12, 12 are provided in pairs side by side in the horizontal direction immediately below the upper edge 11j on the front side of the main body 11.
Of course, these hook members 12, 12 can also be provided at the upper edge portion 11j.
That is, two of them may be provided side by side along the upper edge of the main body portion 11 .

The hook members 12 have the same configuration on the left and right sides and are in the form of a generally U-shaped clip with a downward opening.
An insertion portion is provided on the back surface of the component piece 12s on the main body 11 side of the clip form, and the belt-shaped member 12b is inserted laterally through this insertion portion and both sides are sewn together to fix the hook member 12 to the main body 11.

This hook member 12 is made of plastic and is flexible and elastic. The front component piece 12r of this hook member 12 and the above-mentioned component piece 12s sandwich the upper edge or middle edge of the sheet or the edge of the hole between them, and the above-mentioned main body part 11 can be attached so as to be hooked onto the back side of the sheet.

A lower belt member 14 is provided on the lower portion of the main body 11 .
The lower belt member 14 is inserted into a hole 17 formed in the lower portion of the main body 11, and is a single belt member disposed in a circular shape.

A length adjustment frame 18 is provided at one end of the lower belt member 14 which is made up of a single belt member.
The length adjustment frame 18 is a generally rectangular frame with a single horizontal bar provided in the center, and is what is called an "adjuster buckle."
One end of the lower belt member 14 is fixed to the central horizontal bar of the length adjustment member 18 and looped around, and the other end 14t is again inserted through the upper and lower frames of the length adjustment member 18.

As a result, one end of the lower belt member 14 is formed into a loop shape, and one connecting member 15a is provided at the middle portion thereof.
As described above, the other end (tip) 14t of the lower belt member 14 is inserted through the length adjustment frame 18, through the insertion hole 17 provided in the lower part of the main body 11, and then through the other connecting device 15b provided on the other end 14t side.

With the above-mentioned configuration, the lower belt member 14 is formed into a closed loop shape by connecting the two connecting members 15a, 15b to each other.
As will be explained later, this lower belt member 14 is arranged so as to be hung across the handle post or the frame of the luggage rack of the bicycle, and then the other end (tip) 14t of the lower belt member 14 can be pulled, i.e., pulled through the insertion portion of the connecting device 15b, so that the lower belt member 14 is tensioned.

Furthermore, a pair of fastening members 20, 20 are provided on both the left and right sides of the rear surface of the main body 11 (see FIG. 2).
The fastening member 20 is a belt-shaped member sewn to both sides of the back surface of the main body 11, and a hook-and-loop fastener is provided on the back surface.
The hook-and-loop fasteners 20, 20 can be mutually fastened to a hook-and-loop fastener (fastening member) provided on the inside of the rear surface of the child seat cover.
As described above, the mounting structure according to the present invention is composed of the above-mentioned mounting aid 11 and an attachment member (hook and loop fastener) provided on the inside of the rear surface of the cover (not shown).

FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram of the front side of the child car seat to which the mounting aid according to the embodiment is attached.
This child seat S is shown as an example fixed to the rear carrier of a bicycle.
Of course, even if the child seat is fixed to the handlebars and handlebar post of a bicycle, the mounting aid according to the above embodiment can be mounted on the child seat.

As shown in FIG. 3, the child seat S is made of plastic and consists of a seat Z on which the child sits, a back part H that rises upward from the rear of the seat Z, two side parts W, W on both sides, and foot rest parts F, F. A cushion member C is provided on the top surface of the seat Z.

Furthermore, a pair (two) of holes T, T are provided on the left and right sides at approximately the same distance downward from the upper edge of the back surface H.
The holes T, T are provided for attaching seat belts B, B.
In this child seat S, the seat belt B is of a five-point fixing type.

That is, two belts extend downward from two holes T, T at the top of the back part H and pass through the connecting part Ra to secure the belts B, B to both side parts W, W. The connecting part Rb is fixed to the side of the seat part Z via a belt, and by connecting the connecting part Ra and the connecting part Rb, the child's body can be supported and secured in five places.

In the figure, symbols M and M denote length adjusters for adjusting the length of the belt.
In addition, the configuration of the connecting parts Ra and Rb is similar to that of the connecting devices 15a and 15b provided on the lower belt member 14 in the wearing aid 10 of the present invention, and consists of male and female buckles that can be connected with one touch.

As shown in this figure, the mounting aid 10 of the present invention can be attached to a type of seat S that is not specifically provided with a headrest by hooking the hook members 12, 12 onto the upper edge of the back surface H of the seat S. After that, although not shown in the figure, the lower belt member is stretched across the frame of the cargo bed, and the mounting aid is supported and mounted at three points by the pair of hook members 12, 12 and the lower belt member.

FIG. 4 is an explanatory diagram of the rear side of the mounting aid according to the embodiment when mounted on the rear part of the child seat.
FIG. 5 is an explanatory view of a side view of the mounting aid according to the embodiment mounted on a seat.

Hereinafter, the procedure for mounting the mounting aid 10 according to the embodiment of the present invention to the child seat S will be described with reference to these two figures.
First, the front side of the main body 11 of the mounting aid 10 according to the present invention is placed on the rear side of the rear part H of the child seat S.

Next, the pair of left and right hook members 12, 12 provided on the upper portion of the main body 11 are hooked onto the upper edge of the child seat S to attach it.

Next, the connecting device 15a and the connecting device 15b of the lower belt member 14 provided on the lower part of the main body 11 are separated, and the connecting part 15b on the tip end 14t side of the lower belt member 14 is wound around the frame Nf of the bicycle carrier N, and then the connecting part 15b is connected to the connecting part 15a.

Next, the tip 14t of the lower belt member 14 is pulled downward, and the lower belt member 14 inserted through the connecting device 15b is pulled and tensioned, so that the main body 11 is firmly attached to the back H side of the child seat S.

FIG. 6 is an explanatory rear view of the child seat cover attached to the seat using the mounting aid according to the embodiment, but the bicycle is not shown.
The child seat cover 30 shown in this figure has a generally box-like shape and is capable of covering substantially the entire child seat S except for the bottom surface thereof.

That is, it consists of a front portion (not shown in the figure), a top portion continuing from the upper edge of this front portion, a back portion 33 continuing downward from the rear edge of the top portion, and two side portions 34, 34 continuing at both side edges.

A transparent window is formed on the front surface and can be opened and closed freely.
Of course, the top part may also be made of a transparent material.
Furthermore, foot rest covering portions 35 are provided below both side surface portions 34 .
Of course, the upper portions of both side portions 34 may be made of a transparent material.

A slide fastener is provided at the boundary between the front portion and one or both side portions 34 so that the seat can be opened and closed freely. By opening the fastener, the seat can be used to seat an infant inside and to remove the infant from inside.
The bottom surface of the child seat cover 30 is open, but a stretchable bundling cord 36 is passed through the entire or part of the periphery of the bottom surface so that the opening of the bottom surface can be folded.

The child seat cover 30 has fastening members 40, 40 provided on the inside of the rear surface 33 thereof.
In this embodiment, these fastening members 40 are provided by sewing a hook-and-loop fastener to one surface of a belt-shaped member.

As shown in the figure, the fastening members 40 are arranged in a strip shape in the vertical direction on both sides of the rear portion 33 of the cover 30, and are formed so that they can be mutually engaged with the fastening members arranged on the rear portion of the main body portion 11 of the above-mentioned wearing aid 10.

In other words, the attachment member 40 of the cover 30 is attached to the attachment member provided on the back of the main body 11 of the attachment aid 10, while appropriately securing the height of the top of the cover, and the height of the top of the cover 30 can be maintained at the desired height.

This allows the attachment position of the two to be adjusted up or down depending on the seat height of the child seated in the seat, and prevents the top of the cover from coming into contact with the top of the child's head, making it possible to freely change the height position of the top of the cover in the interior space.

Furthermore, in the present invention, the above-mentioned mounting aid may be joined and fixed in advance to the inside of the rear part of the child seat cover.
This means that the attachment aid is integrated into the inside of the back part of the cover, and the pair of hook members on the back part of the child seat cover are hooked onto the upper edge of the back part of the seat, and the lower belt member is hung and stretched over the frame of the bicycle carrier or, in the case of a front child seat, over the handlebar post of the bicycle, allowing the cover to be easily attached to the seat.

The above describes an embodiment of the present invention, but various design modifications are possible for the present invention, as described below.

In the above embodiment, the child seat to be installed did not have a headrest shape at the top of its back surface, as shown in Figures 3 to 5, so the downward opening of the hook member could be hooked onto the upper edge of the back surface of the seat to attach it.

On the other hand, there is a seat that is provided with a headrest on the upper part of the back portion, and for this type of seat, the downward opening of the hook member can be hooked onto the upper edge of the backrest below the headrest, i.e., the upper edge of approximately the middle part of the back portion of the seat.
Alternatively, it is also possible to hook the hook members of the mounting aid according to the present invention onto a pair of holes in a seat belt or the like provided on the back surface of the seat.

In the above embodiment, an example of attachment to a child seat fixed to the rear carrier of a bicycle was described, but the mounting aid of the present invention can also be attached to a front child seat that is attached and fixed to the handlebars or handlebar post of a bicycle, and a cover can be attached.
When mounting to a front child seat, the lower belt member can be mounted by hanging over or wrapping around the handlebar post of the bicycle.

The cover to be attached to the bicycle seat can be of any type, and as long as it is a cover that can cover almost the entire seat and has an attachment member on the inside of the back part, various types of covers can be attached at an appropriate height.
The cover may be a one-piece type, a two-piece type consisting of upper and lower parts, or a cover having various types of frameworks.

The main body of the mounting aid in the mounting structure of the present invention is plate- or sheet-shaped, and as long as it can be placed on the back side of the seat, its external shape and structure can be freely modified in design.

For example, the outer shape may be a substantially pentagonal shape as in the above embodiment, a substantially rectangular shape, a substantially oval shape, or a polygonal shape.
The structure may be such that the interior is lined with cushioning material or a flexible synthetic resin plate material and the exterior is covered with fabric or sheet material made of another material, or it may be a single elastic or flexible plate-like object.

Furthermore, the main body of the wearing aid may be a knitted belt, and the knitting may have gaps, i.e., holes or windows.
In short, as long as it can be arranged on the back surface of the seat, the structure is completely free.

The hook member and lower belt member can also be modified as appropriate, and the lower belt member in the above embodiment can be a stretchy rubber band or the like, rather than just a belt-like belt.

In the above embodiment, two fastening members (hook-and-loop fasteners) are provided on the back surface of the main body of the wearing aid, one on each side of the back surface in the vertical direction, but these fastening members may also be provided in the horizontal direction, or one fastening member may be provided in the horizontal direction in the shape of a strip, or multiple fastening members may be provided in approximately parallel rows.
Of course, the fastening member may be provided over the entire rear surface of the main body.

This allows the cover to be attached to the seat at an appropriate height by engaging with the fastening member (hook and loop fastener) provided on the inside of the back surface of the cover, allowing the height position of the cover to be appropriately determined.

Finally, the mounting structure according to the present invention may be implemented by providing two lower belt members.
That is, two lower belt members can be inserted into holes 17 provided below the main body 11 of the mounting aid in Figure 4 above, and these two lower belt members can be divided into left and right sides, that is, divided into an inverted V shape, and the connecting and fixing parts provided at the ends of the lower belt members can be connected and fixed to the left and right supports of the handle part provided in the front part of the seat.

Of course, the connecting and fixing portions at the ends of these two lower belt members can also be connected and fixed to the frames on both the left and right sides of the loading platform.
Alternatively, it is also possible to easily connect and fix the connecting and fixing parts to protrusions or holes provided in the lower front part of both side surfaces of the seat body.

These lower belt members are inserted through holes provided below the main body of the wearing aid as described above, but it is of course also possible to sew one end of the lower belt member directly to the main body.

In this way, in the wearing structure according to the present invention, it is sufficient to provide at least one lower belt member on the wearing aid, which is a component of the structure, and it is of course possible to provide two or more lower belt members.

As described above, the present invention relates to an attachment structure for attaching a child seat cover that can be used to cover a front or rear child seat of a bicycle to said seat, and the attachment aid, which is a component of this attachment structure, is attached to the back side of the seat, and the cover can be attached to the seat by engaging an attachment member provided on the back part of the attachment aid with an attachment member provided on the inside of the back part of the cover, thereby allowing the cover to be attached at an appropriate height position and providing space for the top of the head of a child seated inside the cover so that the child seat cover can be attached to the seat.

Claims (5)

A mounting structure for mounting a child seat cover on a child seat fixed to the handlebars or rear carrier of a bicycle, said mounting structure uses a mounting aid separate from the child seat cover to mount the child seat cover on the child seat, said mounting aid is mounted on the back of the child seat by mounting means provided at an appropriate position on the mounting aid, and an attachment member provided on the back of the mounting aid is attached to an attachment member provided on the inside of the back of the child seat cover, thereby enabling the child seat cover to be mounted on the child seat,
The wearing means provided on the wearing aid comprises a pair of hook members provided on an upper portion of the front surface of the main body of the wearing aid, and at least one lower belt member provided on a lower portion of the main body,
The pair of hook members have their hooking portions with openings facing downward and can be hooked onto the upper edge or middle edge or hole of the child seat,
The lower belt member is attached to a frame including a bicycle carrier so that the child seat cover can be attached to the child seat. The lower belt member is provided with connectors on both end sides of the belt member that can be connected to each other,
