Claims (1)
In a rainproofing structure for drywall material that covers a vertical joint of drywall material having a recess at the lower end in the width direction and a protrusion at the upper end, and the back surface of the protrusion at the upper end is folded upward to form a recess at the upper end and a fixing portion, the rainproofing structure for drywall material consists of a batten and a decorative cap, the batten is a long plate material consisting of a horizontal portion and a fitting portion, the decorative cap consists of a vertical, flat decorative surface portion and an engaging portion protruding longitudinally from the center of the back surface of the decorative surface portion, and a sealant is formed continuously on both ends of the vertical joint from the deepest part of the upper end recess of the drywall material to the fixing portion of the drywall material and onto the horizontal part of the batten.
