Claims (9)
- エネルギー貯蔵システムであって、
加熱されたスイープガスを出力するように構成された燃焼タービンと、
天然ガスおよび蒸気を受容し、かつ改質された天然ガスを出力するように構成された改質器と、
溶融炭酸塩電解槽電池(「MCEC」)であって、前記MCECが、MCECアノードおよびMCECカソードを備え、前記MCECが、水素生成モードで動作するように構成されており、前記水素生成モードにおいて、
前記MCECアノードが、前記改質された天然ガスを前記改質器から受容するように構成されており、かつ水素を含有するMCECアノード排気を出力し、
前記MCECカソードが、前記燃焼タービンから加熱されたスイープガスを受容し、かつMCECカソード排気を出力するように構成されている、溶融炭酸塩電解槽電池と、
水素を含有する前記MCECアノード排気を受容するように構成された貯蔵タンクと、
電気化学的水素圧縮器(「EHC」)であって、前記EHCが、
前記MCECアノード排気を受容するように構成されたEHCアノードと、
精製された水素含有流を前記貯蔵タンクに出力するように構成されたEHCカソードと、を備える、電気化学的水素圧縮器と、
前記EHCカソードおよび前記貯蔵タンクからの精製された水素含有流を受容し、かつ電気を出力するように構成されたプロトン交換膜(PEM)燃料電池と、を備える、エネルギー貯蔵システム。 - 前記EHCアノードが、余剰燃料を含有するEHCアノード排気を出力するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のエネルギー貯蔵システム。
- 前記MCECカソード排気および前記EHCアノード排気を受容し、かつ前記改質器の温度を増加させるように構成されたバーナをさらに備える、請求項2に記載のエネルギー貯蔵システム。
- 前記燃焼タービンからの前記加熱されたスイープガスおよび前記EHCアノード排気を受容し、かつ前記加熱されたスイープガスが前記MCECカソードによって受容される前に、前記加熱されたスイープガスをさらに加熱するように構成されたバーナをさらに備える、請求項2に記載のエネルギー貯蔵システム。
- 前記MCECアノード排気を受容し、かつ前記MCECアノード排気中の一酸化炭素をメタンに変換するように構成されたメタン化触媒をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のエネルギー貯蔵システム。
- 前記燃焼タービンが、前記改質器から前記改質された天然ガスの一部を受容するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のエネルギー貯蔵システム。
- 前記MCECは、前記MCECが前記水素生成モードに対して逆方向に動作する発電モードで動作するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のエネルギー貯蔵システム。
- 溶融炭酸塩電解槽電池(「MCEC」)を利用するエネルギー貯蔵方法であって、前記MCECが、MCECアノードおよびMCECカソードを備え、電気化学的水素圧縮器(「EHC」)を利用し、前記MCECが、水素生成モードで動作するように構成されており、前記方法が、
燃焼タービンから加熱されたスイープガスを出力することと、
改質器で天然ガスおよび蒸気を受容し、かつ前記改質器から改質された天然ガスを出力することと、
前記MCECアノードで前記改質器から前記改質された天然ガスを受容し、かつ前記MCECアノードから水素を含有するMCECアノード排気を出力することと、
前記MCECカソードで前記燃焼タービンから前記加熱されたスイープガスを受容し、かつ前記MCECカソードからMCECカソード排気を出力することと、
貯蔵タンクで水素を含有する前記MCECアノード排気を受容することと、
前記MCECアノード排気をEHCアノードで受容することと、
精製された水素含有流を、EHCカソードから前記貯蔵タンクに出力することと、
プロトン交換膜(PEM)燃料電池で前記EHCカソードおよび前記貯蔵タンクからの精製された水素含有流を受容することと、
前記PEM燃料電池から電気を出力することと、を含む、エネルギー貯蔵方法。 - 前記MCECアノード排気をメタン化触媒で受容することと、
前記MCECアノード排気中の一酸化炭素をメタンに変換することと、を含む、請求項8に記載のエネルギー貯蔵方法。
