Description
本発明の実施の形態について、図1乃至図5を参照して説明する。なお、以下に説明する実施の形態は、本発明を実施する上での好適な具体例として示すものであり、技術的に好ましい種々の技術的事項を具体的に例示している部分もあるが、本発明の技術的範囲は、この具体的態様に限定されるものではない。
この車両用駆動装置1は、左右前輪及び左右後輪のうち一方を主駆動輪として他方を補助駆動輪とする4輪駆動車に搭載され、補助駆動輪(例えば左右後輪)を駆動するために用いられる。また、車両用駆動装置1は、左車輪に伝達する駆動力と右車輪に伝達する駆動力との比である左右駆動力配分比を可変である。主駆動輪は、例えば内燃機関であるエンジンや高出力電動モータ、あるいはこれらを組み合わせたハイブリッドシステムによって構成される主駆動源により駆動される。車両用駆動装置1によって補助駆動輪の左右駆動力配分比を調節し、例えば旋回外側の車輪への駆動力の配分割合を高めることにより、旋回時における走行安定性を向上させることができる。
以上説明した実施の形態によれば、第1のクラッチハウジング61の壁部612が第1の円錐ころ軸受63の外輪631により支持され、第2のクラッチハウジング71の壁部712が第2の円錐ころ軸受73の外輪731により支持されるので、例えば従来のクラッチ装置のように壁部を軸受の内輪で支持する場合に比較して、壁部の径方向長さを短くすることができる。これにより、軸方向から見た壁部の面積(大きさ)を削減できると共に、径方向長さの短縮によって壁部の剛性を高めることができることから、壁部の薄肉化を図ることも可能となる。このため、クラッチ装置4の小型軽量化が可能となる。

Claims (1)
- 第1及び第2のシリンダが形成されたケース部材と、
前記ケース部材に収容された第1及び第2のクラッチハウジングと、
複数のクラッチプレートからなる第1及び第2の多板クラッチと、
前記第1のクラッチハウジングを前記ケース部材に対して回転可能に支持する第1の転がり軸受と、
前記第2のクラッチハウジングを前記ケース部材に対して回転可能に支持する第2の転がり軸受と、を備え、
前記第1及び第2のクラッチハウジングのそれぞれは、円筒状の円筒部と、前記円筒部の端部から内方に延在する壁部とを有し、
前記第1の多板クラッチは、前記第1のクラッチハウジングの前記円筒部の内側に形成された第1の収容空間に収容され、
前記第2の多板クラッチは、前記第2のクラッチハウジングの前記円筒部の内側に形成された第2の収容空間に収容され、
前記第1の収容空間と前記第2の収容空間とが区画壁により区画されており、前記区画壁が前記第1及び第2のクラッチハウジングに対して軸方向移動不能に固定されており、
前記第1及び第2の転がり軸受のそれぞれは、内輪及び外輪と、前記内輪と前記外輪との間に配置された複数の転動体とを有し、
前記第1の転がり軸受の前記内輪が前記ケース部材に設けられた第1の内輪取付部に取り付けられ、
前記第2の転がり軸受の前記内輪が前記ケース部材に設けられた第2の内輪取付部に取り付けられ、
前記第1の転がり軸受の前記外輪が前記第1のクラッチハウジングの前記壁部に設けられた第1の外輪取付部に取り付けられ、
前記第2の転がり軸受の前記外輪が前記第2のクラッチハウジングの前記壁部に設けられた第2の外輪取付部に取り付けられ、
前記第1及び第2のクラッチハウジングの前記壁部には、軸方向の貫通孔が形成されており、
前記第1のクラッチハウジングの前記壁部に形成された前記貫通孔に挿通された押圧部を有する第1の押圧部材、前記第1のシリンダに供給される作動油の圧力により前記第1の押圧部材に軸方向の移動力を付与する第1のピストン、前記第2のクラッチハウジングの前記壁部に形成された前記貫通孔に挿通された押圧部を有する第2の押圧部材、及び前記第2のシリンダに供給される作動油の圧力により前記第2の押圧部材に軸方向の移動力を付与する第2のピストンをさらに備え、
前記第1の押圧部材が前記第1の多板クラッチを前記区画壁に向かって押圧し、
前記第2の押圧部材が前記第2の多板クラッチを前記区画壁に向かって押圧し、
前記第1及び第2の転がり軸受のそれぞれは、前記転動体が大径部及び小径部を有する円錐状に形成され、前記外輪の内周面に形成された外輪軌道面及び前記内輪の外周面に形成された内輪軌道面を前記転動体が転動する円錐ころ軸受であり、
前記第1の転がり軸受の前記転動体は、前記大径部が前記小径部よりも前記第1の収容空間から軸方向に離れた位置に配置され、
前記第2の転がり軸受の前記転動体は、前記大径部が前記小径部よりも前記第2の収容空間から軸方向に離れた位置に配置されている、
