Description
実施例1のインダクタを図1および図2を参照して説明する。図1はインダクタ100を実装面側から見た部分透過斜視図である。図2は図1のA-A線を通り、実装面に平行な面における部分断面図である。
インダクタ100の製造方法は、例えば、所望の形状を有するコイルを準備する準備工程と、準備したコイルの引き出し部の端部の被覆層を除去して導体部を形成する被覆層除去工程と、磁性粉含有シートにコイルを埋設してシート状の素体を得る成形工程と、シート状の素体をダイシングして個片化された素体を得る個片化工程と、素体の表面に外部電極を形成する電極形成工程とを備える。
実施例2のインダクタを図4および図5を参照して説明する。図4はインダクタ110を実装面側から見た部分透過斜視図である。図5は図4のB-B線を通り、素体の端面に直交する面における部分断面図である。インダクタ110では、引き出し部の端部の幅広面が素体の端面にそれぞれ露出すること以外はインダクタ100と同様に構成される。

Claims (4)
- 被覆層を有し、断面が長方形である導体からなり、前記導体が巻回されてなる巻回部と、前記巻回部から引き出される引き出し部とを有するコイルと、
前記コイルを内包し、磁性粉および樹脂を含む磁性体からなる素体と、
前記素体の表面に配置され、前記引き出し部に接続される外部電極と、を備え、
前記引き出し部は、前記被覆層を有しない導体部を端部に有し、
前記導体部は、前記外部電極と接続する第1領域と、前記磁性体と接触する第2領域とを有し、
前記第1領域は、前記導体の長さ方向に交差する端面であって、前記端面が前記導体の長さ方向に対して傾斜して形成され、
前記第2領域は、前記巻回部の外周面から延在する前記導体の幅広面のみに、前記第1領域に接して前記素体の表面からの深さが前記磁性粉の平均粒径D50の値よりも大きい位置まで延在して形成され、
前記引き出し部は、前記磁性粉と前記被覆層が接触する領域と、前記磁性粉と前記導体が接触する領域を有し、
前記外部電極は、前記第1領域と接続する銅を含むめっき層を含む、インダクタ。 - 被覆層を有し、断面が長方形である導体からなり、前記導体が巻回されてなる巻回部と、前記巻回部から引き出される引き出し部とを有するコイルと、
前記コイルを内包し、磁性粉および樹脂を含む磁性体からなる素体と、
前記素体の表面に配置され、前記引き出し部に接続される外部電極と、を備え、
前記引き出し部は、前記被覆層を有しない導体部を端部に有し、
前記導体部は、前記外部電極と接続する第1領域と、前記磁性体と接触する第2領域とを有し、
前記第1領域は、前記導体の端面に隣接して前記導体の長さ方向に延在する面に形成され、
前記第2領域は、前記導体の対向する側面に、前記第1領域に接して前記素体の表面からの深さが前記磁性粉の平均粒径D50の値よりも大きい位置まで延在して形成され、
前記引き出し部は、前記磁性粉と前記被覆層が接触する領域と、前記磁性粉と前記導体が接触する領域を有し、
前記外部電極は、前記第1領域と接続する銅めっき層を含む、インダクタ。 - 前記第2領域は、前記磁性粉と前記導体とが接触する領域を有する請求項1または請求項2に記載のインダクタ。
- 前記素体は、実装面と、前記実装面に対向する上面と、前記実装面および上面に隣接し、互いに対向する端面とを有し、
前記引き出し部の端部の少なくとも一部は、前記端面から露出する請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載のインダクタ。
