Description
図1は、本実施の形態に係る粒子分別装置100の、平面図およびA−A´断面図である。具体的に、図1においては、粒子分別装置100に、不要微粒子1および目的微粒子2を含む液体3を流路4の流入口5から流し込んだ状態を示している。典型的には、不要微粒子1は解析対象でない粒子であり、目的微粒子2は解析対象の粒子である。ここで、不要微粒子1および目的微粒子2のうち一方が、本発明に係る第1粒子に対応し、不要微粒子1および目的微粒子2のうち他方が、本発明に係る第2粒子に対応する。
以下、説明の便宜上、先に説明した部材と同じ機能を有する部材については、同じ符号を付記し、その説明を省略する場合がある。
図3は、本実施の形態に係る粒子分別装置102の平面図である。
図4は、本実施の形態に係る粒子分別装置103の、平面図およびA−A´断面図である。
図5は、本実施の形態に係る粒子分別装置104の平面図である。
本発明の態様1に係る粒子分別装置100は、特定の上面に沿って形成された幹線14、を含む流路4と、誘電泳動により、第1粒子と第2粒子(不要微粒子1と目的微粒子2)とを、上記上面と略垂直な方向に分別する分別用電極(偏向用電極対9および19)とを備えている。

Claims (6)
- 特定の上面に沿って形成された幹線と、上記幹線からの分岐部分からなる支線であって、上記幹線を上記上面に対して略垂直に平行移動した位置に配置されている支線と、を含む流路と、
誘電泳動により、第1粒子と第2粒子とを、上記幹線と上記支線とに分別する分別用電極とを備えていることを特徴とする粒子分別装置。 - 上記分別用電極を有している集積回路を備えており、
上記流路は、上記集積回路を上記上面に対して略垂直に平行移動した位置に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の粒子分別装置。 - 上記流路および上記分別用電極を1組とした分別システムを複数組有しており、
複数組の上記分別システムは、上記上面に略沿って配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の粒子分別装置。 - 上記第1粒子と上記第2粒子とを区別するための光を受光する、複数のフォトダイオードを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の粒子分別装置。
- 上記複数のフォトダイオードの各々の出力信号を参照して、上記第1粒子および上記第2粒子のいずれか一方が上記分別用電極の上を通過するタイミングを特定し、当該タイミングの特定結果に基づいて、上記分別用電極を駆動させる期間を制御する制御部を備えていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の粒子分別装置。
- 上記第1粒子および上記第2粒子の一方に対して分別された上記第1粒子および上記第2粒子の他方を、誘電泳動により捕捉する捕捉用電極を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の粒子分別装置。
