Description

The present invention relates to an evaporator, and more particularly to an evaporator preferably used in a refrigeration cycle used in a refrigerating apparatus such as a refrigerator or a refrigerating showcase.

For example, a refrigeration cycle equipped with a compressor, a condenser and an evaporator is installed inside a heat insulating box of a refrigerator. As an evaporator for such a refrigeration cycle, a plurality of fin groups composed of a plurality of plate fins arranged in parallel and provided at intervals in the air flow direction, and a penetrating pattern through the plate fins of each fin group. It is equipped with a plurality of fixed straight pipes and a heat exchange pipe that connects adjacent straight pipes and consists of a number of bent pipes that is one less than the straight pipes, and all the plate fins are heated. Those located on a plane parallel to the direction perpendicular to the straight pipe portion of the exchange pipe are widely used (see Patent Document 1).

In the evaporator, the larger the surface area of the plate fins in contact with air, the larger the amount of heat exchange between the refrigerant and air. Therefore, there is an idea of increasing the fin pitch in order to increase the surface area of the plate fins. However, in such an evaporator, water tends to remain during defrosting, and if the fin pitch is made dense, frost may be generated on the surface of the plate fins and the space between the plate fins may be clogged.

Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 4-260787

An object of the present invention is to solve the above problems and to provide an evaporator that increases the surface area of the plate fins on the upstream side of the air flow and improves heat exchangeability without reducing the pitch between the plate fins.

The present invention comprises the following aspects in order to achieve the above object.

1) A plurality of fin groups composed of a plurality of plate fins arranged in parallel and provided at intervals in the air flow direction, and a plurality of straight pipe portions fixed to the plate fins of each fin group in a penetrating manner. An evaporator including a heat exchange tube composed of a bent tube portion connecting adjacent straight tube portions, wherein the plate fins of at least one fin group are located on a plane parallel to the air flow direction. The main body is provided integrally with the main body whose longitudinal direction is perpendicular to the air flow direction and the longitudinal direction of the straight pipe portion, and one edge portion and the other side edge portion in the longitudinal direction of the main body portion. An evaporator consisting of a bent portion bent toward the fin side adjacent to the portion.

2) The evaporator according to 1) above, wherein the bent portions of the plate fins in one fin group are all bent in the same direction with respect to the main body portion.

3) The protruding length of the bent portion is 5% or more of the length in the longitudinal direction of the main body of the plate fin, and the pitch between the main bodies of the adjacent plate fins of the fin group consisting of the plate fins having the bent portion. The evaporator according to 1) or 2) above, which is formed shorter than the above.

4) The evaporator according to 1) to 3) above, wherein the bending angle of the bent portion is 45 degrees or more and 90 degrees or less with respect to the main body portion of the plate fin.

5) The evaporator according to 1) to 4) above, wherein the bent plate fin is applied to the fin group on the upstream side in the air flow direction among all the fin groups.

According to the evaporator of 1) above, the plate fins of at least one fin group are located on a plane parallel to the air flow direction, and the longitudinal direction is perpendicular to the air flow direction and the longitudinal direction of the straight pipe portion. Since it is composed of a main body portion facing in the direction, and a bent portion that is integrally provided on one side edge portion and the other side edge portion in the longitudinal direction of the main body portion and is bent toward the fin side adjacent to the main body portion. In the fin group, the total surface area of all plate fins that come into contact with air can be increased without increasing the number of plate fins by reducing the pitch between the plate fins, and the amount of heat exchange between the air and the plate fins can be increased. it can. In addition, since the surface area of the plate fins that come into contact with air is increased due to the formation of the bent portion, the dimensions of the main body of the plate fins in the longitudinal direction do not increase, and the dimensions of the evaporator itself do not increase. The exchange amount can be increased.

According to the evaporator of 2) above, the bent portions of the plate fins in one fin group are all bent in the same direction with respect to the main body portion, so that one fin group can be used without wasting space. It can be composed of more plate fins.

According to the evaporator of 3) above, the protruding length of the bent portion is 5% or more of the length in the longitudinal direction of the main body portion of the plate fin, and the fin group composed of the plate fin having the bent portion is adjacent to each other. Since it is formed shorter than the pitch between the main bodies of the plate fins, the amount of heat exchange can be appropriately increased without obstructing the flow of air passing between the plate fins.

According to the evaporator of 4) above, the bending angle of the bent portion is 45 degrees or more and 90 degrees or less with respect to the main body portion of the plate fin, so that the bending portion between the main body portion and the bent portion is bent by surface tension. Water is easily retained in the portion, and when the retained water exceeds a certain amount, it is easily dropped from the plate fins. This makes it possible to prevent the water adhering to the plate fins from freezing. Further, since the bending angle of the bent portion is 90 degrees or less with respect to the main body portion, the amount of heat exchange can be increased without increasing the longitudinal dimension of the main body portion in the evaporator.

According to the evaporator of 5) above, the bent plate fins are applied to the fins on the upstream side in the air flow direction among all the fins, so that the fins in the lowermost stage with high humidity are often used. Moisture can be removed and efficiency can be improved.

As shown in FIG. 1, the evaporator (1) is composed of a plurality of aluminum plate fins (2) and (22) arranged in parallel in the left-right direction, and a plurality of evaporators (1) are spaced apart in the vertical direction (ventilation direction). A plurality of straight pipe portions (5) extending in the left-right direction fixed in a penetrating manner to the provided fin groups (3) (33) and the plate fins (2) (22) of each fin group (3) (33). And an aluminum heat exchange tube (4) that connects two adjacent straight pipes (5) and consists of bent pipes (6) (7) that are one less than the straight pipes (5). As shown by the arrow Z in FIG. 1, the air flows from the bottom to the top.

The heat exchange tubes (4) are provided vertically spaced apart from each other in two vertical planes spaced in the front-rear direction, and are vertically adjacent to each other with a plurality of straight pipe portions (5) extending in the left-right direction. The first bent pipe part (6) that connects the matching straight pipe parts (5) alternately to the left and right, and the second bent pipe part (7) that connects the right ends of the two straight pipe parts (5) at the lower ends. ) And.

The plate fin (2) has a rectangular flat plate shape that is long in the front-rear direction, and has a certain angle, for example, a right angle with the straight pipe portion (5) of the heat exchange pipe (4), and the height of the plate fin (2). At the center of the direction, two through holes (8) through which the straight pipe portion (5) of the heat exchange pipe (4) is passed are formed at intervals in the front-rear direction.

The fin pitch between the adjacent plate fins (2) of the fin group (3) on the downstream side (upper side) in the air flow direction is the adjacent plate fins (22) of the fin group (33) on the upstream side (lower side) in the air flow direction. It is preferable that it is smaller than the fin pitch between). In the illustrated example, the fin pitch between adjacent plate fins (2) of the fin group (3) is largest at the lower end fin group (33) and decreases toward the upper fin group (3). If the fin pitch of the upper end fin group (3) is smaller than the fin pitch of the lower end fin group (33), the fins of a plurality of fin groups (3) (33) adjacent to each other are vertically adjacent to each other. The pitches may be equal and the fin pitch combinations of the fin groups (3) and (33) are arbitrary.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, in this embodiment, both front and rear sides of the plate fins (22) of the fin group (33) on the upstream side (bottom side portion) in the air flow direction are bent.

The bent plate fin (22) is located on a plane parallel to the air flow direction, and the main body portion (longitudinal direction is perpendicular to the air flow direction and the longitudinal direction of the straight pipe portion (5)). It is composed of 22a) and a bent portion (22b) that is integrally provided on one side edge portion and the other side edge portion in the longitudinal direction of the main body portion (22a) and is bent with respect to the main body portion (22a). There is.

The bending directions of the two bending portions (22b) of the plate fins (22) with respect to the main body portion (22a) are all toward the plate fin on the right side. The length L from the edge to the tip of the main body (22a) at both bends (22b) is the same. The longitudinal length LW of the main body (22a) is the same as the longitudinal length of the unbent plate fin (2). Two through holes (88) through which the straight pipe portion (5) of the heat exchange pipe (4) is passed are formed at the center of the main body portion (22a) of the plate fin (2) in the front-rear direction. Has been done.

Collars (9) are integrally formed on the peripheral edges of the through holes (8) and (88) in the plate fins (2) and (22) over the entire circumference. The straight pipe portion (5) of the heat exchange pipe (4) is passed through the through holes (8) (88) of the plate fins (2) and (22) of the fin groups (3) and (33), and the straight pipe portion is passed through. The outer peripheral surface of (5) is fixed to the plate fins (2) and (22) so as to be in close contact with the collar (9).

The protruding length of the bent portion (22b) is 5% or more longer than the length in the longitudinal direction of the main body portion (22a) of the plate fin (22), and the fin group composed of the plate fin (22) having the bent portion (22b). It is formed shorter than the pitch between the main bodies (22a) of the adjacent plate fins (22) of (33). Further, the bending angle θ of the bending portion (22b) with respect to the main body portion (22a) is preferably 45 to 90 degrees. In this embodiment, the bending angle θ of both bending portions (22b) with respect to the main body portion (22a) is 90 degrees.

The bent portion (22b) may be provided on the plate fins (2) (22) constituting all the fin groups (3) (33), and may be provided on the lowermost fin group (33) and at least one aligned with the plate fins (2) (22). It may be provided in a plurality of fin groups (3) (33) including one fin group (3). When a plate fin (22) having a bent portion (22b) is provided in the fin group (3) at the lowermost end, the air in the state containing the most moisture and the plate fin (22) having an increased surface area come into contact with each other. Therefore, heat exchange can be performed efficiently.

The evaporator (1), together with the compressor and condenser, constitutes a refrigeration cycle. Such a refrigeration cycle is placed inside the insulation box of the refrigerator.

In the evaporator (1), the refrigerant flows into one straight pipe portion (5) at the upper end, flows through the heat exchange pipe (4), and is a fan (not shown) as shown by an arrow Z in FIG. It exchanges heat with the air sent from the bottom to the top, and flows out from the other straight pipe (5) at the upper end of the heat exchange pipe.

The larger the surface area of the plate fins (2) and (22) that come into contact with air, the larger the amount of heat exchange between the refrigerant and air.

In order to increase the surface area of the plate fins provided in the conventional evaporator, it is conceivable to increase the number of plate fins by increasing the fin pitch, but when the fin pitch is increased, frost is generated on the plate fins. In some cases, the space between the plate fins may become clogged.

Therefore, if the plate fin (22) is provided with a bent portion (22b) as in the evaporator (1) of the present invention, the surface area of the plate fin (22) that comes into contact with air without making the fin pitch dense. Therefore, the amount of heat exchange can be increased as compared with the conventional evaporator, and the cooling performance can be improved.

The evaporator according to the present invention is suitably used for a refrigerating cycle used in a refrigerating apparatus such as a refrigerator and a refrigerating showcase.
