Claims (17)
- 排気ガス出口(3)及び空気入口(4)を有する内燃エンジン(2)のための排気ガス再循環システム(1)であって、
前記排気ガス再循環システムを前記排気ガス出口(3)に接続するための手段と、
前記排気ガス再循環システムを前記空気入口(4)に接続するための手段であって、排気ガスが、排気ガス流れ方向において、前記排気ガス再循環システムを前記排気ガス出口(3)に接続するための手段から、前記排気ガス再循環システムを前記空気入口(4)に接続するための手段まで導かれることができるようになっている、手段と、
前記排気ガス再循環システム(1)の中に排気ガスが吸気されるのを制御するための排気ガス入口バルブ(5)と、
前記排気ガス入口バルブ(5)の下流に提供された排気ガス浄化装置(6)と、
前記排気ガス再循環システム(1)を通る排気ガス流れを制御するための制御ユニット(7)と
を備える

動作停止基準が満たされるとすぐに前記排気ガス再循環システム(1)を動作停止にするために、動作停止基準を検出するための手段が提供され、前記検出手段により、制御信号が前記制御ユニット(7)に送信されることができるようになっており、前記動作停止基準を検出するための手段が、前記排気ガス流れ方向で見て前記排気ガス浄化装置(6)の下流に配置されたガス・センサ(8)によって形成され、前記ガス・センサ(8)は、硫黄センサであって、前記排気ガス中の硫黄が測定されることができるようになっていることを特徴とする、排気ガス再循環システム(1)。 - 前記ガス・センサ(8)は、前記制御ユニット(7)に接続されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の排気ガス再循環システム(1)。
- 前記排気ガス再循環システム(1)は、前記排気ガス流れ方向における前記排気ガス浄化装置(6)の下流であり、且つ前記排気ガス流れ方向における前記ガス・センサの下流に、冷却器(9)を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の排気ガス再循環システム(1)。
- 前記排気ガス再循環システム(1)は、前記排気ガス流れ方向における前記冷却器(9)の下流に水分離器(10)を備えることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の排気ガス再循環システム(1)。
- 前記排気ガス再循環システム(1)は、圧力増大デバイス(11)を備えて、浄化された前記排気ガスの圧力がチャージ圧力のレベルか又はそれを超える値まで増大されることができるようになっていることを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか一項に記載の排気ガス再循環システム(1)。
- 前記圧力増大デバイス(11)は、ターボチャージャ又はブロアをあることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の排気ガス再循環システム(1)。
- 前記排気ガス再循環システム(1)は、前記排気ガス流れ方向において、前記排気ガス再循環システム(1)を前記空気入口(4)に接続するための手段の上流に配置された排気ガス再循環バルブ(12)を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1から6までのいずれか一項に記載の排気ガス再循環システム(1)。
- 前記ガス・センサ(8)は、硫黄酸化物センサであることを特徴とする、請求項1から7までのいずれか一項に記載の排気ガス再循環システム(1)。
- 前記排気ガス入口バルブ(5)は、前記制御ユニット(7)によって制御されることができるようになっており、前記制御ユニット(7)の信号が、前記制御ユニット(7)における前記ガス・センサ(8)の測定値と閾値との比較によって起動されることができるようになっていることを特徴とする、請求項1から8までのいずれか一項に記載の排気ガス再循環システム(1)。
- 前記排気ガス再循環バルブ(12)は、前記制御ユニット(7)によって制御されることができるようになっていることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の排気ガス再循環システム(1)。
- 排気ガス出口(3)と、空気入口(4)と、請求項1から10までのいずれか一項に記載の排気ガス再循環システム(1)とを備える内燃エンジン(2)であって、
前記排気ガス再循環システム(1)を前記空気入口(4)に接続するための手段が前記空気入口(4)に接続され、前記排気ガス再循環システム(1)を前記排気ガス出口(3)に接続するための手段が前記排気ガス出口(3)に接続されている、内燃エンジン(2)。 - 前記空気入口(4)は掃気レシーバ(13)である、請求項11に記載の内燃エンジン(2)。
- 請求項1から10までのいずれか一項に記載の排気ガス再循環システム(1)を有する、内燃エンジン(2)の排気ガス再循環プロセスを監視するための方法であって、動作停止基準が満たされるとすぐに、すなわち、閾値を超えていることをガス・センサ(8)が示すとすぐに、制御ユニット(7)が前記排気ガス再循環システム(1)を動作停止にし、前記ガス・センサ(8)は、前記排気ガスの硫黄含有量を測定し、硫黄の閾値を超える場合には前記制御ユニット(7)に対して信号を送信し、それを受けて前記制御ユニット(7)は、前記排気ガス再循環システム(1)を動作停止する、方法。
- 前記ガス・センサ(8)は、硫黄酸化物含有量を測定することを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の方法。

- 請求項1から10までのいずれか一項に記載の排気ガス再循環システム(1)を、内燃エンジンの中に後付けするための方法。
