Claims (5)
- 正極および負極と、
前記正極および前記負極を収容する反応室と、
前記反応室の内部に収容され、前記正極および前記負極に接触する電解液と、
前記電解液中に気泡を発生させる気泡発生装置と
を備え、
前記負極は、前記電解液を挟んで前記正極と向かい合う対向面を有し、
前記負極は、
前記負極の下端部に配置され前記対向面が粗面化された第2の表面粗さを有する第2領域と、前記第2領域よりも上方に配置され前記対向面が前記第2の表面粗さよりも小さい第1の表面粗さを有する第1領域とを含むことを特徴とするフロー電池。 - 前記負極は、前記正極とは反対側に設けられた反対面を有し、
前記反対面は、前記負極の基材を被覆する耐電解液性の第1被覆層が前記電解液と接触することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフロー電池。 - 前記対向面は、前記負極の基材を被覆する耐電解液性の第1被覆層と、前記第1被覆層を被覆し、亜鉛を含有する第2被覆層とを含み、
前記気泡は、前記対向面と前記正極との間の前記電解液中を流動することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のフロー電池。 - 前記反応室の内部に配置された他の正極をさらに備え、
前記正極と前記他の正極との間に前記負極が配置されており、
前記負極は、前記電解液を挟んで前記他の正極と向かい合う他の対向面を有し、
前記他の対向面は、
前記第2領域が第4の表面粗さを有し、前記第1領域が前記第4の表面粗さよりも小さい第3の表面粗さを有することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載のフロー電池。 - 前記第2領域は、前記第1領域よりも厚みが大きいことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載のフロー電池。
