従って、(7)式を満たすように遮光膜42の幅広部分の幅LFを設定することにより、基板23の出射面23aからの反射光が後方に漏れるのを防止することができる。
Claims (5)
- 透明部材に沿って配置される発光装置であって、
前記透明部材と対向して配置される透光性の基板と、前記基板上に配置される透光性の陽極と、前記陽極上に配置される有機物層と、前記有機物層上に配置される非透光性の陰極と、を有する有機ELパネルを備え、
前記有機物層および前記陰極は、ストライプ状に形成され、
前記陰極は、前記有機物層よりも幅広に形成され、
前記基板の屈折率をn 1 、前記基板の厚さをdとしたときに、
前記陰極における前記有機物層より幅広部分の幅L N が以下の式
L N ≧2dtan(arcsin(1/n 1 ))
で規定されることを特徴とする発光装置。 - 透明部材に沿って配置される発光装置であって、
前記透明部材と対向して配置される透光性の基板と、前記基板上に配置される透光性の陽極と、前記陽極上に配置される有機物層と、前記有機物層上に配置される非透光性の陰極と、前記有機物層および前記陰極を覆う封止部材と、前記封止部材上に形成される遮光膜と、を有する有機ELパネルを備え、
前記有機物層、前記陰極および前記遮光膜は、ストライプ状に形成され、
前記遮光膜は、前記有機物層よりも幅広に形成されることを特徴とする発光装置。 - 前記透明部材と前記基板との間に、前記基板よりも屈折率の低い物質の層が形成されるように、前記有機ELパネルを前記透明部材に取り付ける取付構造を備えることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の発光装置。
- 前記有機ELパネルは、基板上にハーフミラー、陽極、有機物層、陰極の順で積層されたマイクロキャビティ構造を備えることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の発光装置。
- 前記基板の屈折率をn1、前記基板の厚さをd、前記封止部材の厚さをDとしたときに、
前記遮光膜における前記有機物層より幅広部分の幅LFが以下の式
LF≧2dtan(arcsin(1/n1))+Dtan(arcsin(1/n1))
で規定されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の発光装置。
