Description
Claims (12)
- 陽極、陰極及び分離膜を含む電極組立体を含む円筒形電池であって、
上端開口部を含む円筒形カンと、
前記円筒形カンの上部外周面に形成され、前記上端開口部の一部が内側に折り曲げられて形成されるクリンピング部によって前記円筒形カンと結合されるキャップ組立体と、
前記円筒形カンと前記キャップ組立体の間に介装される防錆性ガスケットとを含み、
前記防錆性ガスケットは高分子樹脂及び硝酸ナトリウム系物質を含む気化性防錆剤(VCI;Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor)とベース樹脂(base resin)を含む、防錆処理された円筒形電池。 - 前記気化性防錆剤はベース樹脂100重量部に対して1〜30重量部であり、
前記硝酸ナトリウム系物質は高分子樹脂100重量部に対して3〜30重量部であり、
前記硝酸ナトリウム系物質はNaNO2及びNaNO3の少なくとも一つであり、前記防錆性ガスケットの内部に分散されている、請求項1に記載の防錆処理された円筒形電池。 - 前記高分子樹脂及びベース樹脂は互いに同一であっても異なってもよく、ポリプロピレン(PP)、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレン、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、テフロン(登録商標)、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、レーヨン、混紡糸、ポリビスコース及びポリノジック繊維からなる群から選択される1種又は2種以上の混合物である、請求項1または2に記載の防錆処理された円筒形電池。
- 前記高分子樹脂及びベース樹脂はポリプロピレン(PP)である、請求項3に記載の防錆処理された円筒形電池。
- 前記硝酸ナトリウム系物質は前記防錆性ガスケットの内部にクリスタル状態で分散されており、
前記円筒形カンのクリンピング部の終端には前記硝酸ナトリウム系物質によってガンマ三酸化鉄(γ−Fe2O3)が10Å〜1000Åの厚さで形成されている、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の防錆処理された円筒形電池。 - 前記キャップ組立体は、
前記円筒形カンの開放端を密封するトップキャップ(top cap)と、
一面は前記トップキャップの側面、上面及び下面の全てと接触し、他面は前記防錆性ガスケットの内周面と接触するように折り曲げられて配置され、前記電極組立体に電気的に連結された安全ベントとを含む、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の防錆処理された円筒形電池。 - 前記キャップ組立体は、
前記円筒形カンの開放端を密封し、前記防錆性ガスケットの突出部と接触するように配置されたトップキャップ(top cap)と、
前記トップキャップと接触するように配置されたPTC素子と、
一面は前記PTC素子と接触し、他面の一部が前記防錆性ガスケットと接触するように配置された安全ベントとを含む、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の防錆処理された円筒形電池。 - 前記安全ベントの下端に熔接され、下部が前記電極組立体と連結されることができる電流遮断素子をさらに含む、請求項7に記載の防錆処理された円筒形電池。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の防錆処理された円筒形電池の多数を電気的に連結してなる、電池パック。
- 前記電池パックは、パワーツール(Power Tool)と、電気自動車(Electric Vehicle、EV)、ハイブリッド車(Hybrid Electric Vehicle、HEV)、及びプラグインハイブリッド車(Plug−in Hybrid Electric Vehicle、PHEV)を含む電気自動車と、電気トラックと、電気商用車と、電力貯蔵用システムとからなる群から選択される一つ以上の装置に中大型デバイス電源として用いられる、請求項9に記載の電池パック。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の防錆処理された円筒形電池の製造方法であって、NaNO2及びNaNO3の少なくとも1種の硝酸ナトリウム系物質を準備して粉砕する段階と、
粉砕硝酸物質を高分子樹脂と混合して気化性防錆剤を製造する段階と、
気化性防錆剤及びベース樹脂を混合して防錆性ガスケットを製造する段階と、
前記防錆性ガスケットを、電極組立体を内蔵した円筒形カンと、前記円筒形カンの上部外周面に形成され、上端開口部の一部が内側に折り曲げられるクリンピング部によって前記円筒形カンと結合されるキャップ組立体との間に介装する、防錆処理された円筒形電池の製造方法。 - 前記防錆性ガスケットを介装する段階後、
前記防錆性ガスケットの内部の硝酸ナトリウム系物質と水分の反応によって亜窒酸(HNO2)及び硝酸(HNO3)の少なくとも1種を生成する段階と、
前記亜窒酸(HNO2)及び硝酸(HNO3)の少なくとも1種で前記円筒形カンの表面を酸化させて10Å〜1000Åの厚さでガンマ三酸化鉄(γ−Fe2O3)を形成する段階とをさらに含む、請求項11に記載の防錆処理された円筒形電池の製造方法。
