Claims (19)
- 複合組織を差別的に切開する差別的切開部材であって、
第1の端部および第2の端部を有する本体を有し、本体は、第1の端部から第2の端部までの中心軸と、第1の端部の近くの回転軸であって中心軸に直角に配向された回転軸とを有し、
第1の端部は、複合組織から離れて向けられるように構成され、且つ外科用器具駆動機構と係合するように構成されており、外科用器具駆動機構は、第2の端部が動作方向に沿って掃引するように、回転軸を中心に、差別的切開部材を移動させ、
第2の端部は、複合組織に向けられるように構成された、組織に面した表面を有し、
組織に面した表面は、少なくとも1つの組織係合面を有し、少なくとも1つの組織係合面は、少なくとも1つの谷および少なくとも1つの突起の交互列を有し、該交互列は、少なくとも1つの谷および少なくとも1つの突起の交点が、動作方向に対して直角なその方向の成分を有する少なくとも1つの谷エッジを画定するように、組織に面した表面上の動作方向に沿って配置されており、
少なくとも1つの谷エッジは、鋭くなく、約0.05ミリメートル(mm)よりも小さい曲率半径を有さず、
差別的切開部材が複合組織に押圧されるとき、少なくとも1つの組織係合面が複合組織を横切って移動し、少なくとも1つの組織係合面が、複合組織における少なくとも1つの軟組織を破壊するが、複合組織における強固組織は破壊しないように、複合組織に選択的に係合するように少なくとも1つの組織係合面が構成されている、差別的切開部材。 - 少なくとも1つの組織係合面が、さらに、少なくとも1つの組織係合面から外向きに延在する複数の突起を備え、複数の突起が、強固組織の一部である繊維成分の堅く詰まった組織化された配列を覆う任意のゲル状物質を介して掃引するように構成されており、複数の突起が、さらに、少なくとも1つの軟組織の緩く詰まった繊維成分を引っ掛けて引き裂くが、強固組織における繊維成分の堅く詰まった組織化された配列を滑って引っ掛けないように構成されている、請求項1の差別的切開部材。
- 複数の突起の1以上が、約1ミリメートル(mm)未満の突起長を有する、請求項2の差別的切開部材。
- 複数の突起の1以上が、約5ミリメートル(mm)未満の突起長を有する、請求項2の差別的切開部材。
- 差別的切開部材が、さらに、差別的切開部材が複合組織をスライスしないように鋭いエッジを有しない3次元面を備える、請求項1の差別的切開部材。
