Claims (1)
- 青色光を発する発光ダイオードと、
前記発光ダイオードの上に配置され、青色光をより長い波長を持つ光に変換する波長変換素子であって、高さ及び幅を持つ波長変換素子とを有する光源と、
前記発光ダイオード及び前記波長変換素子から放射される光を受けるように結合された、PMMA材料からなるバックライト導波路であり、青色光の吸収率が、より長い波長を持つ光の吸収率より高いという色吸収特性を有するバックライト導波路と
を有し、
前記バックライト導波路が有する前記色吸収特性が、前記発光ダイオード及び前記波長変換素子によって放射される非一様な角度色分布を少なくとも部分的に補償して、前記バックライト導波路の出力においてΔu’v’<0.015の一様性を持つ空間的な色分布を作り出すよう、前記波長変換素子の前記高さと前記幅との比が、0°から90°までの角度分布内でΔu’v’>0.015の前記非一様な角度色分布を持つ光を生成するよう選択されている、
