Claims (3)
- 燃料フィルターアセンブリであって、
集水空間及び排水口を有するフィルターエレメントを備え、
前記フィルターエレメントは、燃料を前記フィルターエレメントの上流側に供給し、濾過燃料を前記フィルターエレメントの下流側から提供するための燃料パイプに接続され、
前記フィルターエレメントから下流に配置される燃料ポンプを備え、
前記集水空間と連通する圧力作動式一方向ドレーンバルブを備え、
前記燃料パイプは、前記フィルターエレメントと前記燃料ポンプとを接続する部分を含み、
前記燃料ポンプは、前記フィルターエレメント及び前記部分を介して燃料を吸い込むための第1のモードで、及び、燃料を前記部分を介して前記フィルターエレメントに送り返すための第2の逆モードで動作でき、
前記圧力作動式一方向ドレーンバルブは、前記第2の逆モードにおける前記集水空間内の圧力で開放する、
燃料フィルターアセンブリ。 - 前記集水空間から排水された水における燃料の存在を決定するよう適合され、配置されるセンサを更に備える、請求項1に記載の燃料フィルターアセンブリ。
- 燃料フィルターアセンブリから排水するための方法であって、
請求項1に記載の燃料フィルターアセンブリを提供するステップと、
前記第2の逆モードで前記燃料ポンプを動作し、それによって前記フィルターエレメント及び/又は前記集水空間内の圧力を上昇させ、前記フィルターエレメント及び/又は前記集水空間内の圧力が所定値を超えると、前記ドレーンバルブを開放するステップと、
を含む方法。
