Description
本開示で述べられる組成物は環状オリゴ糖を含んでもよい。本明細書で使用するとき、用語環状オリゴ糖とは6個以上の糖単位を含む環状構造物を意味する。環状オリゴ糖は、6、7、若しくは8個の糖単位又はその混合物を有することができる。6,7及び8員の環状オリゴ糖をそれぞれα、β、及びγと呼ぶことが当業界では普通である。有用な環状オリゴ糖の非限定的な例としては、水、エタノール、又は水及びエタノールの両方に可溶性であるものが挙げられる。本開示で有用な環状オリゴ糖は、水、エタノールのいずれか,又は水及びエタノールの両方の中で25℃及び0.1MPa(1atm)の圧力で少なくとも約0.1g/100mLの溶解性を有し得る。本開示で開示される組成物は、約0.001%〜約40%、約0.1重量%〜約25重量%、約0.3重量%〜約20重量%、約0.5重量%〜約10重量%、又は約0.75重量%〜約5重量%の環状オリゴ糖を含んでもよい。本開示で開示される組成物は、組成物の重量で0.001%〜40%、1%〜25%、0.3%〜20%、0.5%〜10%、又は0.75%〜5%の環状オリゴ糖を含んでもよい。
本開示に記載の組成物は、揮発性溶剤又は揮発性溶剤の混合物を含んでもよい。揮発性溶剤は、組成物の重量で、10%以上、30%超、40%超、50%超、60%超、90%超又は99%超を占めてもよい。本開示で有用な揮発性溶剤は、比較的無臭であり、及び人間の皮膚での使用に安全であり得る。好適な揮発性溶剤はC1〜C4アルコール及びその混合物を含んでもよい。例えば、エタノールは揮発性溶剤として使用されてもよい。
揮発性溶剤のいくらかの他の非限定的な例としてはメタノール、プロパノール、イソプロパノール、ブタノール、及びその混合物が挙げられる。
組成物は非揮発性溶剤又は非揮発性溶剤の混合物を含んでもよい。非揮発性溶剤の非限定的な例としてはベンジルベンゾエート、ジエチルフタレート、イソプロピルミリステート、プロピレングリコール、ジプロピレングリコール、トリエチルシトレート、及びその混合物が挙げられる。存在する場合には、非揮発性溶剤は、1:1未満、1:2未満、1:10未満、又は1:100未満の非揮発性溶剤:環状オリゴ糖の重量比で含まれてもよい。非揮発性溶剤は、また、約1:1未満、約1:2未満、約1:10未満、又は約1:100未満の、しかし0超の非揮発性溶剤:環状オリゴ糖の重量比で含まれてもよい。組成物は、また、非揮発性溶剤を含まなくてもよい。
組成物は芳香剤を含んでもよい。本明細書で使用されるとき、「芳香剤」は任意の香気を放つ材料を示すのに使用される。化粧品として許容可能な任意の芳香剤が組成物中で使用されてもよい。例えば,芳香剤は室温で液体であるものであることがある。一般に、芳香剤は、約0.01%〜約40%、約0.01重量%〜約25重量%、約0.25重量%〜約20重量%、又は約0.5重量%〜約15重量%の濃度で存在してもよい。
本開示に記載の組成物は水を含んでもよい。存在する場合には、水は、組成物の約0.1重量%〜約40重量%、約1重量%〜約30重量%、又は、約5重量%〜約20重量%を占めることもある。
本開示で記述される組成物は噴射剤を含んでもよい。噴射剤の非限定的な例としては、圧縮空気,窒素、不活性ガス、二酸化炭素、及びその混合物が挙げられる。噴射剤としては、また、プロパン、n−ブタン、イソブテン、シクロプロパンのようなガス状炭化水素、1,1−ジフルオロエタンのようなハロゲン化炭化水素、及びその混合物が挙げられてもよい。噴射剤のいくつかの非限定的な例としては、1,1,1,2,2−ペンタフルオロエタン、1,1,1,2−テトラフルオロエタン、1,1,1,2,3,3,3−ヘプタフルオロプロパン、trans−1,3,3,3−テトラフルオロプロペ−1−ン、ジメチルエーテル、ジクロロジフルオロメタン(噴射剤12)、1,1−ジクロロ−1,1,2,2−テトラフルオロエタン(噴射剤114)、1−クロロ−1,1−ジフルオロ−2,2−トリフルオロエタン(噴射剤115)、1−クロロ−1,1−ジフルオロエチレン(噴射剤142B)、1,1−ジフルオロエタン(噴射剤152A)、モノクロロジフルオロメタン、及びその混合物が挙げられる。使用に好適な一部の他の噴射剤としては、A−46(イソブタン、ブタン、及びプロパンの混合物)、A−31(イソブタン)、A−17(n−ブタン)、A−108(プロパン)、AP70(プロパン、イソブタン、及びn−ブタンの混合物)、AP40(プロパン、イソブテン、n−ブタンの混合物)、AP30(プロパン、イソブタン、及びn−ブタンの混合物)、及び152A(1,1−ジフルオロエタン)が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。噴射剤は、容器内に保存されている材料の全充填量の約15重量%、25重量%、30重量%、32重量%、34重量%、35重量%36重量%、38重量%、40重量%、又は42重量%〜約70重量%、65重量%、60重量%、54重量%、52重量%、50重量%、48重量%、46重量%、44重量%、又は42重量%の濃度を有してもよい。
本明細書で開示される組成物は、また、組成物を美容技術的又は美学的により許容可能とせしめるか、又は組成物に追加の使用メリットを提供することがある、様々な他の成分を含有してもよい。これらの他の成分は当業者には周知されている。これらは、「CTFA International Cosmetic Ingredient Dictionary及びHandbook,7th edition,edited by Wenninger and McEwen,(The Cosmetic,Toiletry,and Fragrance Association,Inc.,Washington,D.C.,1997)」に見られるような、任意の化粧品として許容可能な成分を含む。本明細書で使用されるとき、「美容技術的に許容可能な」は、皮膚、毛髪、又は他の好適な基材との接触における使用に好適である、材料(例えば、化合物又は組成物)を意味する。例えば,組成物は、デナトニウムベンゾエートなどのアルコール変成剤、ベンゾフェノン−2などのUV安定剤、トコフェリルアセテートなどの酸化防止剤、フェノキシエタノール、ベンジルアルコール、メチルパラベン、プロピルパラベンなどの保存剤、染料、乳酸、クエン酸、ナトリウムシトレート、コハク酸、リン酸、水酸化ナトリウム、炭酸ナトリウムなどのpH調整剤、脱臭剤及びファルネゾル及び亜鉛フェノールスルホネートなどの殺菌剤、グリセリンなどの保湿剤、アラントインなどのスキンコンディショニング剤、トリメチルイソプロピルブタンアミド及びメントールなどの清涼化剤、パンテノール,パンテチン,パントテイン,パンテニルエチルエーテエル,及びその組み合わせなどのヘアコンディショニング剤、シリコーン、カリウムアセテート及び塩化ナトリウムなどの一般的な塩、及びその混合物を含んでもよい。存在する場合には、これらの追加の成分は、重量で全組成物の10%未満の量で存在してもよい。
本明細書に記載の組成物は、制汗活性物質(すなわち、制汗活性を有する任意の物質、混合物、又は他の材料)を含まないか、実質的に含まなくともよく、又は含んでもよい。
好適な制汗活性物質の例としては、アルミニウム、ジルコニウム、及び亜鉛、並びにこれらの混合物の無機及び有機塩のような収斂性金属塩が挙げられる。そのような制汗活性物質としては、例えば、アルミニウムハライド、アルミニウムヒドロキシハライド,ジルコニルオキシハライド、ジルコニルヒドロキシハライド、及びその混合物などのアルミニウム及びジルコニウム塩が挙げられる。
組成物は、スプレーディスペンサーを含む容器の中に含まれていてもよい。容器は、分注される組成物を含む容器を更に含んでもよい。容器は、エアロゾル化された組成物(すなわち、噴射剤を含む組成物)を容器内に含んでもよい。スプレーディスペンサーの他の非限定的な例としては、非エアロゾルディスペンサー(例えば、蒸気スプレー)、手動ディスペンサー、ポンプスプレーディスペンサー、又は当業界で入手可能な任意の他の好適なスプレーディスペンサーが挙げられる。
本明細書に記載の組成物は、当業界で既知の任意の容器により、又は組成物を基材に送達するのに好適な任意のスプレーディスペンサーによりパッケージされてもよい。組成物は、芳香剤の放出の引き金を引くのに水分が使用可能な任意の物質に適用されてもよい。
組成物を人体に適用するとき、組成物は、皮膚の任意の領域に適用されてもよく、身体の任意の領域に適用されてもよい。あるいは、組成物は、布地などの任意の物品、又は限定ではないが、女性用衛生物品、おむつ、及び成人用失禁物品を含む任意の吸収性物品に適用されてもよい。例えば、組成物は、ボディスプレー、女性用スプレー、成人用失禁スプレー、ベビースプレー、又は他のスプレーとして使用されてもよい。
8センチメートル×13センチメートル(3インチ×5インチ)の厚紙、プロ用エアロゾル試験ブロッターカード(Orlandi Inc.から入手可能)を試験対象の各試料に対して作製する。各ブロッターカードを分析天秤により予め秤量する。各試料をブロッターカード上に均等にスプレーする。Seaquist Perfect Dispensingからの0.09リットル(3オンス)スプレーアクチュエーターをはめた0.09リットル(3オンス)のプラスチック瓶(Matrix Packaging)を用いて、これを行うことができる。試料をスプレーした後ブロッターカードを秤量して、おおよそ0.050グラム±0.0025の試料がブロッターカード上にスプレーされたことを確認しなければならない。ブロッターカードが目視評価時に適用領域間で均等に濡れていないか、又はスプレーされた試料の量がおおよそ0.050グラム±0.0025でない場合には、ブロッターカードを廃棄して、この工程を繰り返さなければならない。
ピークが残っていないならば、1st試料を2回目に分析する。バブリングメタノールと共に5秒間クリーニングステップを行い、続いて、ブランクを分析して、ピークが残っていないことを確認する。ピークが残っていないならば、1st試料を3回目に分析する。

各試料に対して、試料当たり3ランの各々を表す「全ピーク面積」が存在しなければならない。平均標準偏差、及びパーセント相対標準偏差(すなわち、%RSD)を各試料に対して計算する。中間標準偏差、及び%RSDは、n=3の試料サイズ基準で各試料に対して入手可能であるべきである。
次の標準化された手順を用いて、制御された環境条件下で訓練されたパネルにより評価を行った。ほぼ10〜20人の専門家パネリストが各評価に参加した。Seaquist
Perfect Dispensingからの0.09リットル(3オンス)スプレーアクチュエーターをはめた0.09リットル(3オンス)のプラスチック瓶(Matrix Packaging)を用いて、組成物をスプレーした。組成物を振盪し、次いでパネリストの前腕上に手首の下ほぼ5〜15センチメートル(ほぼ2〜6インチ)好ましくは最少のヘアの付いた領域に2秒間スプレーした。アクチュエーターを前腕から約15センチメートル(約6インチ)離して保持した。この方法を他の前腕で繰り返した。各パネリストは、芳香剤の強度を、組成物の適用前(ベースライン)、及び組成物のスプレー後15分、30分、及び60分で増大する強度(例えば、1の評点は最低の強度であり、及び8の評点は最高の強度である)で1〜8で評点付けした。組成物のスプレー後45分、90分,及び180分の時点で,Seaquist Perfect Dispensingからの0.09リットル(3オンス)スプレーアクチュエーターをはめた0.09リットル(3オンス)のプラスチック瓶(Matrix Packaging)を用いて、前腕に1スプリッツの水をスプレーし、及びパネリストは水スプレー前後の強度を評点付けした。評点を記録し、及び引き続いてWilcoxon方法により解析した。
次の標準化された手順を用いて、評価を制御された環境条件下で非訓練パネルにより行った。ほぼ5人の非訓練パネリストが各評価に参加した。Seaquist Perfect Dispensingからの0.09リットル(3オンス)スプレーアクチュエーターをはめた0.09リットル(3オンス)のプラスチック瓶(Matrix Packaging)を用いて、8センチメートル×13センチメートル(3インチ×5インチ)の厚紙、プロ用エアロゾル試験ブロッターカード(Orlandi Inc.から入手可能)上に組成物をスプレーした。0.050g±0.0025の量の組成物を各ブロッターカードに適用した。各ブロッターカードに適用した量は分析天秤を用いて確認できる。
組成物のスプレーに続いて、ブロッターカードを24時間乾燥させた。乾燥後、Seaquist Perfect Dispensingからの0.09リットル(3オンス)スプレーアクチュエーターをはめた0.09リットル(3オンス)のプラスチック瓶(Matrix Packaging)を用いて、ブロッターカードにほぼ0.025gの水をスプレーし、及び評価のために0.2リットル(7オンスの透明)ポリエチレンテレフタレートカップの中に入れた。パネリストは、芳香剤の強度を1〜7で増大する強度の順(例えば、1の評点は最低の強度であり、及び8の評点は最高の強度である)で評点付けするように説明を受けた。評点を記録し、及び引き続いてWilcoxon方法により解析した。
Claims (16)
- エアロゾル組成物であって、
i)メチル−β−シクロデキストリン、
ii)前記組成物に対し、30〜60重量%の揮発性溶剤、
iii)前記組成物に対し、25〜60重量%の噴射剤
iv)芳香剤、および
v)所望により、非揮発性溶剤を含み、
前記非揮発性溶剤が存在する場合、前記メチル−β−シクロデキストリンに対する前記非揮発性溶剤の重量比は、1:25未満である、エアロゾル組成物。 - 水分起因性(moisture-triggerd)が改善された芳香剤放出システムを送達する方法であって、
好適な基材と、
i)メチル−β−シクロデキストリン、
ii)前記組成物に対し、30〜60重量%の揮発性溶剤、
iii)前記組成物に対し、25〜60重量%の噴射剤
iv)芳香剤、および
v)所望により、非揮発性溶剤を含む、
エアロゾル組成物とを接触させることを含み、
前記非揮発性溶剤が存在する場合、前記メチル−β−シクロデキストリンに対する前記非揮発性溶剤の重量比は、1:25未満である、方法。 - 前記メチル−β−シクロデキストリンは、前記組成物の0.75重量%〜5重量%を占める、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル組成物。
- 抗菌剤を更に含む、請求項1または3に記載のエアロゾル組成物。
- 前記揮発性溶剤は、エタノールを含む、請求項1および3〜4のいずれか一項に記載のエアロゾル組成物。
- 水を更に含む、請求項1および3〜5のいずれか一項に記載のエアロゾル組成物。
- 制汗活性物質を含まない、請求項1および3〜6のいずれか一項に記載のエアロゾル組成物。
- 容器に保存される、請求項1および3〜7のいずれか一項に記載のエアロゾル組成物。
- 前記容器は、前記容器中に貯蔵される材料の全充填量の15重量%〜70重量%の噴射剤を含む、請求項8に記載のエアロゾル組成物。
- 前記メチル−β−シクロデキストリンは、前記組成物の0.75重量%〜5重量%を占める、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記エアロゾル化された組成物は、抗菌剤を更に含む、請求項2または10に記載の方法。
- 前記揮発性溶剤は、エタノールを含む、請求項2および10〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記エアロゾル組成物は、水を更に含む、請求項2および10〜12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記エアロゾル組成物は、制汗活性物質を含まない、請求項2および10〜13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記エアロゾル組成物は、容器に保存される、請求項2および10〜14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記容器は、前記容器中に貯蔵される材料の全充填量の15重量%〜70重量%の噴射剤を含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
