Description
図1(a)は、本発明の実施の形態に係るパワーウインドウ制御装置の概略正面図であり、図1(b)は、図1(a)におけるA−Aで示す窓ガラスの断面図である。また、図2は、本発明の実施の形態に係るパワーウインドウ制御装置の窓ガラスにおける検出電極の配置を示す外観斜視図である。
検出電極10は、導電性材料で形成された電極であり、検出電極10の表面に指等が接触又は近接することにより、静電容量値が変化するものである。検出電極10は、例えば、図1(a)、図2に示すように、車両の窓ガラスの上部、上端部に装着され、指等の接触又は近接を検出する。
表面型静電容量方式によるタッチ位置Pの検出は、第1電極100の2箇所の隅部E1、E2、及び、第2電極200の2箇所の隅部E3、E4に流れる4箇所の電流値(i1、i2、i3、i4)の比に基づいてタッチ位置Pの座標を算出する。

Y=K3+K4・(i1+i2)/(i1+i2+i3+i4)
ただし、K1、K3は、オフセット値、また、K2、K4は係数である。

Y=a−(a+b)・(i1+i2)/(i1+i2+i3+i4)
となる。
したがって、第1電極100の2箇所の隅部E1、E2、及び、第2電極200の2箇所の隅部E3、E4から供給される電流値(i1、i2、i3、i4)に基づいて、制御部400の内部において、上記示した式により、タッチ位置Pの座標X、Yを算出することができる。
図5は、本発明の実施の形態に係るパワーウインドウ制御装置の動作例を示すフローチャートである。
X=c・(i2+i3)/(i1+i2+i3+i4)
Y=a−(a+b)・(i1+i2)/(i1+i2+i3+i4)
から、Y座標を算出し、これに基づいて、判断を行なう。Y>0の場合はStep3へ進み、Y>0でない場合はStep5へ進む。
上記説明したように、第1電極100は、窓ガラスによる指挟みを検出する。一方、第2電極200は、上記説明したパワーウインドウの作動開始、停止のスイッチ入力以外に、種々の入力機能が考えられる。検出電極10(第1電極100と第2電極200)は、タッチの有無を検出すると共に、タッチ位置Pの座標を算出することができる。したがって、特に、第2電極200は、操作者が車両内部からタッチした位置座標を判断することにより、種々に機能を割り当てることも可能である。
本実施の形態に係るセンサ構造、パワーウインドウ制御装置は以下のような効果を有する。
(1)本実施の形態に係るセンサ構造は、第1電極100又は第2電極200のタッチ位置Pを表面型静電容量方式により検出する。表面型静電容量方式によるタッチ位置検出は、検出電極10(第1電極100と第2電極200)の4箇所の給電部からAC電流を供給して、タッチ位置Pと給電部とのインピーダンス変化により、4箇所の電流値の比に基づいてタッチ位置の座標を算出するものである。したがって、タッチの有無を検出できると共に、タッチ位置の座標が求まることにより、第1電極100又は第2電極200のどちらにタッチがされたかが判断できる。
(2)上記のセンサ構造を用いたパワーウインドウ制御装置は、第1電極100のタッチ検出により、ウインドウレギュレータ300の反転制御、停止制御を行なうことができると共に、操作者の車両内部からの第2電極200へのタッチ操作を検出することにより、パワーウインドウの作動開始、停止を行なうことができる。
(3)これにより、指挟みの検出と他の検出機能の2つの機能を有するセンサ構造、及び、このセンサ構造を用いたパワーウインドウ制御装置を提供することができる。
(4)本発明の実施の形態に係るセンサ構造は、上記示した式により、タッチ位置Pの座標X、Yを算出することができ、これにより、第1電極100、第2電極200のどの位置がタッチされたかまで判断できるので、タッチ検出のみならず、タッチ位置に基づいたスイッチ入力装置として機能することが可能である。

- 静電容量を検出する第1電極と、
静電容量を検出する第2電極と、を有し、
前記第1電極と前記第2電極は、折り曲げられた板形状の検出電極とされ、
前記第1電極の検出対象の検出方向と、前記第2電極の検出対象の検出方向とが異なる方向であり、
前記第1電極の2箇所の隅部、及び、前記第2電極の2箇所の隅部に電圧が印加され、前記第1電極又は前記第2電極のタッチ位置を表面型静電容量方式により検出することを特徴とするセンサ構造。 - 車両の窓ガラスの上部に配置され、静電容量を検出する第1電極と、
前記窓ガラスの車両内部側に配置され、静電容量を検出する第2電極と、を有し、
前記第1電極と前記第2電極は、折り曲げられた板形状の検出電極とされ、
前記第1電極の検出対象の検出方向と、前記第2電極の検出対象の検出方向とが異なる方向であり、
前記第1電極の2箇所の隅部、及び、前記第2電極の2箇所の隅部に電圧が印加され、前記第1電極又は前記第2電極のタッチ位置を表面型静電容量方式により検出することを特徴とするパワーウインドウ制御装置。 - 前記第1電極は、窓ガラスによる指挟みを検出し、前記第2電極は、前記車両の内部側からのタッチ操作を検出することにより、パワーウインドウ装置の開閉制御を行なうことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のパワーウインドウ制御装置。
