Description
Claims (6)
- ケースに設けられる端子と前記ケースに収容される電極組立体とを接続する通電経路上に設けられ、前記ケース内の圧力が設定圧力を超えるときに前記端子と前記電極組立体との間を流れる電流を遮断する電流遮断装置であって、
前記端子と電気的に接続される第1変形板と、
前記第1変形板と対向して配置され、前記電極組立体と電気的に接続される通電板と、
前記通電板の前記第1変形板と対向する面とは反対側の面に対向して配置される第2変形板と、を備えており、
前記第1変形板と前記端子とは、前記第1変形板の外周部において全周に亘って接合されて両者の間がシールされており、
前記第2変形板と前記通電板とは、前記第2変形板の外周部において全周に亘って接合されて両者の間がシールされており、
前記通電板は、中央部と、前記中央部の外周側に設けられた外周部と、前記中央部と前記外周部の間に設けられており、前記中央部及び前記外周部と比較して破断強度が低い脆弱部と、を備えており、
前記第1変形板には、第1貫通孔が設けられており、
前記通電板の前記中央部には、第2貫通孔が設けられており、
前記通電板と前記第1変形板とは、前記第1貫通孔及び前記第2貫通孔の外側、かつ、前記脆弱部の内側において全周に亘って接合されて両者の間がシールされており、
前記端子と前記第1変形板との間の空間は、前記端子に設けられた第3貫通孔を介して前記ケースの外部の空間と連通すると共に、前記第1貫通孔及び前記第2貫通孔を介して前記通電板と前記第2変形板との間の空間と連通しており、
前記ケース内の圧力が前記設定圧力未満のときは、前記通電板と前記第1変形板とは接合された状態となっており、前記ケース内の圧力が前記設定圧力以上となると、前記第2変形板が変形して前記通電板が前記脆弱部で破断すると共に前記第1変形板が変形し、前記通電板と前記第1変形板とが非接触の状態となる、電流遮断装置。 - 前記端子の軸方向から見ると、前記第1貫通孔の少なくとも一部が前記第2貫通孔の少なくとも一部と重なっている、請求項1に記載の電流遮断装置。
- 前記第2変形板は、前記通電板と対向する面に設けられ、前記通電板に向かって突出する突出部を備えており、
前記端子の軸方向から見ると、前記突出部の少なくとも一部が前記第2貫通孔よりも外側に位置している、請求項1又は2に記載の電流遮断装置。 - 前記第2変形板は、前記通電板と対向する面に設けられ、前記通電板に向かって突出する突出部を備えており、
前記端子の軸方向から見ると、前記突出部の全体が前記第2貫通孔の内側に位置する一方で、前記突出部の少なくとも一部が前記第1貫通孔の外側に位置している、請求項1又は2に記載の電流遮断装置。 - 前記通電板には、前記第2貫通孔の少なくとも一部を塞ぐ板材が取付けられており、
前記第2変形板は、前記通電板と対向する面に設けられ、前記通電板に向かって突出する突出部を備えており、
前記端子の軸方向から見ると、前記突出部の全体が前記第2貫通孔の内側に位置する一方で、前記突出部の少なくとも一部が前記板材と重なっている、請求項1又は2に記載の電流遮断装置。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の電流遮断装置を備える蓄電装置。
