Description
粒径が微細なため、炉内における酸化カルシウムへの炭酸カルシウム粒子の焼成が非常に効率的に行われる。
粒径が微細なため、酸化カルシウム粒子の大部分が、酸化カルシウムの有害な未反応コア部を粒子内に残すことなく、炉内で迅速かつ効率的にSO2と反応する。
粒径が微細なため、酸化カルシウム粒子が炉から素早く逃げ出すので、炉内に形成されるボトムアッシュにはごく少量の酸化カルシウムしか含まれない。
炉から逃げ出す酸化カルシウム粒子は、その粒径が微細なため、外部保湿装置での粉砕や消和を行うことなく、炉の下流にある半乾式の硫黄還元ステージにおいて吸着剤として容易に使用可能である。
Claims (10)
- 硫黄含有の炭素質燃料の第1流を、第1供給速度でボイラーの炉(12)に供給する工程と、
所定のd50粒径を有する炭酸カルシウム含有吸収剤の第2流を、第2供給速度で前記炉に供給する工程と、
前記炉内に形成する粒子床の流動化を行うため、前記炉に酸素含有ガスを供給する工程と、
前記酸素で燃料を燃焼させることにより、燃料内の硫黄を酸化させて二酸化硫黄を生成する工程と、
炉内で炭酸カルシウムを焼成して酸化カルシウムを生成し、この酸化カルシウムの一部を利用して前記二酸化硫黄の第1部分の硫酸化を行って炉内に硫酸カルシウムを生成する工程と、
二酸化硫黄の第2部分を含む煙道ガスと、前記煙道ガスにより取り込まれた、酸化カルシウムを含む粒子とを、煙道ガスチャネル(18)に沿って前記炉から排出する工程と、
前記取り込まれた酸化カルシウム粒子の第1部分を含む、前記取り込まれた粒子の第1部分を、カットオフサイズを有する粒子分離器(14)で前記煙道ガスから分離し、この分離された粒子の少なくとも一部を戻りダクト(16)を介して前記炉(12)に戻す工程と、
前記取り込まれた酸化カルシウム粒子の第2部分を含む、前記取り込まれた粒子の第2部分を、前記煙道ガスと共に、前記炉(12)から、前記炉の下流に配置された半乾式硫黄還元ステージ(38,52)へ搬送する工程と、
前記半乾式硫黄還元ステージ(38,52)において、前記煙道ガスの二酸化硫黄含有量を削減する工程と、
を具備する、循環流動床ボイラー設備(10)の二酸化硫黄排出を削減する方法において、
前記炭酸カルシウム含有吸収剤の前記所定のd50粒径は、10から20μmであり、かつ、前記粒子分離器の前記カットオフサイズの50%より小さいことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記炭酸カルシウム含有吸収剤の前記所定のd50粒径は、前記粒子分離器の前記カットオフサイズの30%より小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の循環流動床ボイラー設備(10)の二酸化硫黄排出を削減する方法。
- 前記取り込まれた酸化カルシウム粒子の80%超が前記粒子の第2部分にあり、前記取り込まれた酸化カルシウム粒子の20%未満が前記粒子の第1部分にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の循環流動床ボイラー設備(10)の二酸化硫黄排出を削減する方法。
- 前記取り込まれた酸化カルシウム粒子の90%超が前記粒子の第2部分にあり、前記取り込まれた酸化カルシウム粒子の10%未満が前記粒子の第1部分にあることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の循環流動床ボイラー設備(10)の二酸化硫黄排出を削減する方法。
- 前記搬送する工程は、前記取り込まれた酸化カルシウム粒子の粒径を縮小させることなく行われることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の循環流動床ボイラー設備(10)の二酸化硫黄排出を削減する方法。
- 前記搬送する工程は、前記取り込まれた酸化カルシウム粒子の第2部分を消和させることなく行われることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の循環流動床ボイラー設備(10)の二酸化硫黄排出を削減する方法。
- 前記搬送する工程は、前記粒子の物理的又は化学的性質を変える外部処理を施すことなく行われることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の循環流動床ボイラー設備の二酸化硫黄排出を削減する方法。
- 前記第1供給速度の前記第2供給速度に対する比は、前記第2流のカルシウムの前記第1流の硫黄に対するモル比(Ca/Sモル比)が2.5から3.5となるものであり、前記半乾式硫黄還元ステージには追加の吸着剤が供給されないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の循環流動床ボイラー設備の二酸化硫黄排出を削減する方法。
- 前記第1供給速度の前記第2供給速度に対する比は、前記第2流のカルシウムの前記第1流の硫黄に対するモル比(Ca/Sモル比)が1.5から2.5となるものであり、前記半乾式硫黄還元ステージには追加の吸着剤が供給されないことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の循環流動床ボイラー設備の二酸化硫黄排出を削減する方法。
- 前記第1供給速度の前記第2供給速度に対する比は、前記第2流のカルシウムの前記第1流の硫黄に対するモル比(Ca/Sモル比)が1.0から2.0となるものであり、前記半乾式硫黄還元ステージには追加の吸着剤が供給されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の循環流動床ボイラー設備の二酸化硫黄排出を削減する方法。
