抽出された複数の周波数帯の振動成分を合成して合成振動波形を生成する波形合成部(44)と、
所定時間分の合成振動波形を時間平均処理して時間平均値を算出する算出部(46)と、
複数の周波数帯のうち、最も低い共振周波数を含む周波数帯の振動成分のピーク強度を検出するピーク検出部(48)と、
第1閾値及び第2閾値が予め格納された記憶部(50)と、
時間平均値と第1閾値とを比較する第1比較処理と、ピーク強度と第2閾値とを比較する第2比較処理とにより、ノッキングの有無と、ノックレベルが第1ノックレベル及び第1ノックレベルよりも高い第2ノックレベルのいずれであるかと、を判定する判定部(52)と、

先ず、図1に基づき、本実施形態に係るエンジン制御装置の概略構成を説明する。以下において、エンジン制御装置を、エンジンECU(Electronic Control Unit)と示す。

Claims (5)
- 外部からエンジンの音又は振動を取得して、複数の振動モードにおける各共振周波数をそれぞれ含む複数の周波数帯の振動成分をそれぞれ抽出する抽出部(42)と、
抽出された複数の前記周波数帯の振動成分を合成して合成振動波形を生成する波形合成部(44)と、
所定時間分の前記合成振動波形を時間平均処理して時間平均値を算出する算出部(46)と、
複数の前記周波数帯のうち、最も低い共振周波数を含む周波数帯の振動成分のピーク強度を検出するピーク検出部(48)と、
第1閾値及び第2閾値が予め格納された記憶部(50)と、
前記時間平均値と前記第1閾値とを比較する第1比較処理と、前記ピーク強度と前記第2閾値とを比較する第2比較処理とにより、ノッキングの有無と、ノックレベルが第1ノックレベル及び前記第1ノックレベルよりも高い第2ノックレベルのいずれであるかと、を判定する判定部(52)と、
を備えるエンジン制御装置。 - 前記判定部は、
前記第1比較処理の結果、前記時間平均値が前記第1閾値未満の場合にノッキングなし、前記時間平均値が前記第1閾値以上の場合にノッキングありと判定し、
ノッキングありと判定した場合には、前記第1比較処理に次いで前記第2比較処理を実行し、
前記第2比較処理の結果、前記ピーク強度が前記第2閾値未満の場合に前記第1ノックレベル、前記ピーク強度が前記第2閾値以上の場合に前記第2ノックレベルと判定する請求項1に記載のエンジン制御装置。 - 前記判定部は、
前記第2比較処理の結果、前記ピーク強度が前記第2閾値以上の場合に前記第2ノックレベルと判定し、
前記ピーク強度が前記第2閾値未満と判定した場合には、前記第2比較処理に次いで前記第1比較処理を実行し、
前記第1比較処理の結果、前記時間平均値が前記第1閾値未満の場合にノッキングなし、前記時間平均値が前記第1閾値以上の場合に前記第1ノックレベルと判定する請求項1に記載のエンジン制御装置。 - 前記抽出部は、複数の前記周波数帯の振動成分をそれぞれ抽出する複数のバンドパスフィルタ(42a,42b)を有し、
各バンドパスフィルタは、
共振周波数をf、振動モード定数をρm,n、音速をc、前記エンジンのシリンダボア径をBをとすると、
f=ρm,n・c/(π・B)
にて決定される共振周波数に基づいて、抽出する前記周波数帯がそれぞれ設定されている請求項1〜3いずれか1項に記載のエンジン制御装置。 - 前記抽出部は、前記振動モードが(1,0)モードの共振周波数を含む前記周波数帯の振動成分と、前記振動モードが(2,0)モードの共振周波数を含む前記周波数帯の振動成分と、をそれぞれ抽出する請求項1〜4いずれか1項に記載のエンジン制御装置。
