Description
いくつかの適用においては高すぎる空隙率、
標準的な低い濃度の湿式形成と比較した強度特性の減少、
不良なScottボンド、
不良な引張強度、および
不良な弾性係数
にある。
カートン用板紙、白線チップボード、固形漂白板紙、固形未漂白板紙、液体包装板紙など、
ライナーボード、波型媒体などの梱包用板紙、
コアボード、壁紙ベース、書籍装丁用板紙、木材パルプ製板紙などの特殊板紙
などすべてのペーパーボード等級が挙げられる。
多層構造における中間層(紙および板紙)として、
他の紙構造および/またはプラスチックフィルム層に積層して、
プラスチックによる押出コーティングの繊維ベースとして、
断熱材、遮音材、液体および湿気の吸収材として、
トレー、カップ、コンテナなどの成形構造体の形成可能層として
も使用することができる。
AKD(AshlandのPrecis900液体AKD)を界面活性剤の前駆体として使用した。AKDは、100分のプロトコールを用いて、KOH/エタノール/水溶液中で活性化した。そのプロトコールは、0.15%エタノールと、副生成物としてのパルプに1.5%エタノールを与え、そのパルプは、残りのKOHのために幾分アルカリ性となる。そのpHは、泡形成の前に希HClで8に調整する。
界面活性剤0.2%(その半分は、水の硬度のために消費されたが、錯化剤により、またはAKDサイズ剤を適用した場合、処理液体がすでにAKD−カルシウム石鹸で飽和していたという事実によりのいずれかにより固定することができた。)、200mlのパルプ(2%)開始時、70mlmp空気を含む170mlの泡形成されたパルプおよび100mlの排水になる。
Claims (22)
- 繊維ウェブの疎水的にサイジングされた層の製造方法であって、
水、ミクロフィブリル化セルロース(MFC)、疎水性サイズ剤、および熱感受性界面活性剤を泡とする工程、
成形ファブリック上に該泡を供給する工程、
該成形ファブリック上の該泡を吸引により脱水し、ウェブを形成する工程、
該ウェブを乾燥に付す工程、および
該ウェブを加熱し、該界面活性剤を熱により分解し、疎水性残基から親水性部分を除去することにより該界面活性剤の親水性官能基を抑制する工程
を含む方法。 - 前記疎水性サイズ剤が、アルキルケテン二量体(AKD)またはその誘導体である請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記界面活性剤が、塩基、アルコールまたは水での活性化によりAKD前駆体から生成される請求項1または2記載の方法。
- カゼインなどの蛋白質が泡を安定化するために泡に組み込まれる請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- デンプンが、ウェブの追加のサイジングのために泡に組み込まれる請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- より長い繊維状のパルプが泡に組み込まれる請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- より長い繊維状のパルプが、ケミサーモメカニカルパルプ(CTMP)などのメカニカルパルプである請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 泡中に組み込まれる繊維成分が、約5〜40重量%のMFCおよび約60〜95重量%のより長い繊維を有するパルプからなる請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 連続する繊維ウェブが、抄紙機または板紙抄紙機の走行成形ファブリック上に形成され、ウェブおよび成形ファブリックから吸引により脱水され、そして最終的に抄紙機または板紙抄紙機の乾燥部において乾燥される請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 繊維ウェブ上の疎水的にサイジングされたコーティング層の提供方法であって、
水、ミクロフィブリル化セルロース(MFC)、疎水性サイズ剤、および熱感受性界面活性剤を泡とする工程、
繊維ウェブ上に泡をコーティングとして供給する工程、
コーティングを乾燥に付す工程、および
コーティングを加熱し、該界面活性剤を熱により分解し、疎水性残基から親水性部分を除去することにより該界面活性剤の親水性官能基を抑制する工程
を含む方法。 - 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法により得られ得る疎水的にサイジングされた繊維ウェブであって、ミクロフィブリル化セルロース(MFC)およびより長い繊維長のパルプの混合物を、疎水性サイズ剤と共に含み、かつ少なくとも2.5cm3/gの嵩を有する繊維ウェブ。
- 3〜7cm3/gの嵩を有する請求項11記載の繊維ウェブ。
- 120〜200J/m2のスコットボンド値を有する請求項11または12記載の繊維ウェブ。
- さらなるサイズ剤成分としてデンプンを含む請求項11〜13のいずれか1項に記載の繊維ウェブ。
- 前記より長い繊維長のパルプが、CTMPなどのメカニカルパルプである請求項11〜14のいずれか1項に記載の繊維ウェブ。
- 前記繊維ウェブの繊維成分が、約5〜40重量%のMFCおよび約60〜95重量%のより長い繊維長のパルプからなる請求項11〜15のいずれか1項に記載の繊維ウェブ。
- 少なくとも一層が請求項11〜16のいずれか1項に記載の繊維ウェブである多層板紙。
- 中間層として請求項11〜16のいずれか1項に記載の繊維ウェブを含み、かつ中間層よりも嵩の小さい外層を中間層の両側に含む液体用板紙である請求項17記載の多層板紙。
- 水、セルロース繊維、疎水性サイズ剤、および熱感受性界面活性剤を泡とすること、基板上に層として泡を供給すること、層を乾燥に付すこと、および層を加熱し、該界面活性剤を熱により分解し、疎水性残基から親水性部分を除去して該界面活性剤の親水性官能基を抑制することにより、繊維ウェブの疎水的にサイジングされた層を形成するための熱感受性界面活性剤の使用。
- 前記セルロース繊維がミクロフィブリル化セルロース(MFC)を含む請求項19記載の使用。
- 前記泡が、基板を形成する繊維ウェブにコーティング層として供給される請求項20記載の使用。
- 前記セルロース繊維が、より長い繊維長のパルプと混合されたMFCを含み、前記泡が前記基板として供される成形ファブリック上に層として供給され、吸引により脱水され、繊維ウェブに形成される請求項20記載の使用。
