Claims (14)
- 一次側において酸素含有ガスの流れを酸素分離デバイスに案内する気体入口部と、
二次側において前記酸素分離デバイスから酸素濃度の高い気体の流れを案内する気体出口部と、
前記気体入口部側に位置し、酸素分離収着剤を汚染し得る少なくとも1つの混在物を前記酸素含有ガスから除去する浄化材料を具備する浄化領域と、
前記気体出口部側に位置し、前記酸素含有ガスにおける酸素とは別の少なくとも1つの成分を収着することにより前記酸素含有ガスから前記酸素を分離する酸素分離収着剤を具備する少なくとも1つの酸素分離領域と、
を有する当該酸素分離デバイスであって、
前記酸素分離領域及び前記浄化領域は、気体の混在物の拡散率を制限するための少なくとも1つの拡散減少チャネルを有するスペーサにより流体接続され、前記スペーサはrR>1の拡散減少値rRを有し、

- 請求項1記載の酸素分離デバイスの使用により酸素含有ガスから酸素を分離する方法であって、前記方法は、
酸素の発生の第1のサイクルを実行するステップであって、前記第1のサイクルは、酸素含有ガスを酸素分離デバイスの一次側に案内するステップ及び前記酸素分離デバイスの一次側と二次側との間に圧力差を作ることにより前記酸素分離デバイスを通る酸素の流れを生成するステップを有し、前記浄化領域が混在物により汚染され得る当該第1のサイクルを実行するステップと、
酸素の発生の第2のサイクルを実行するステップであって、前記第2のサイクルは、酸素含有ガスを酸素分離デバイスの一次側に案内するステップ及び前記酸素分離デバイスの一次側と二次側との間に圧力差を作ることにより前記酸素分離デバイスを通る酸素の流れを生成するステップを有し、前記浄化領域が混在物により汚染され得る当該第2のサイクルを実行するステップと
を有し、
前記酸素分離デバイスが、前記第1のサイクルと前記第2のサイクルとの間でオフモードに変えられ、
前記酸素分離領域と前記浄化領域とを流体接続し、気体の混在物の拡散率を制限するための少なくとも1つの拡散減少チャネルを有するスペーサにより、前記混在物が、前記浄化領域から前記分離領域に拡散することを少なくとも部分的に妨げられ、前記スペーサがrR>1の拡散減少値rRを有し、
前記拡散減少値rRは、rR=Z×Sであり、Zは、特徴的混在長であり、Sは、前記スペーサの特徴パラメータであり、前記特徴的混在長Zは、Z=(fw×Az)/Lzとして定義され、fwは、前記酸素分離収着剤の拡散補正係数(0.654)であり、Azは、前記酸素分離収着剤の断面積であり、Lzは、前記一次側における前記酸素分離デバイスの前記気体入口部からの前記拡散減少チャネルの距離であり、前記スペーサの特徴パラメータSは、S=Ld/(N×Ad)として定義され、Adは、前記スペーサにおけるダクトの断面積であり、Ldは、前記拡散減少チャネルの長さであり、Nは、前記スペーサの前記ダクトの数である、
