Here, in particular, in the storage device of the controller, the state of charge of the battery in a state in which the distance between the primary side resonance coil and the secondary side resonance coil is preset, and the impedance of the secondary side matching unit corresponding to the state Is stored, and the secondary matching unit is adjusted based on the detected state of charge of the battery and the stored data during charging (Patent Document 1). reference).
Or the power receiver provided with a receiving antenna, a rectifier, and the DC-DC converter connected to the back | latter stage of this rectifier is proposed.
However, in the technique described in
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, for example, and can adjust impedance relatively easily and continue power reception appropriately even when the distance between coils changes during power reception. It is an object of the present invention to provide a power receiving device that can perform the above.
In order to solve the above-described problem, the power receiving device according to
The effect | action and other gain of this invention are clarified from the form for implementing demonstrated below.
An embodiment according to a power receiving device of the present invention will be described.
The power receiving apparatus according to the embodiment receives power output from a power transmitting apparatus including a power transmitting coil in a non-contact manner, for example, by a magnetic resonance method. The power receiving apparatus includes a power receiving coil, a power receiving circuit, a positional relationship acquisition unit, an impedance acquisition unit, and a control unit.
The power receiving coil is disposed so as to face the power transmission coil at a distance from the power transmission coil of the power transmission device.
The power receiving circuit includes an input terminal electrically connected to the power receiving coil, an output terminal capable of outputting power to a load such as a battery, a matching circuit and a rectifier disposed between the input terminal and the output terminal, It is configured with. Here, in particular, the matching circuit is configured such that its characteristics (for example, matching circuit constants) can be changed.
For example, a positional relationship acquisition unit including a memory, a processor, and the like acquires positional relationship information indicating a relative positional relationship between the power transmission coil and the power reception coil. Here, the relative positional relationship may be indicated, for example, as a vertical distance and a horizontal distance between the power transmission coil and the power reception coil, or depending on the position of the power reception coil with respect to the power transmission coil, such as a coupling coefficient, for example. It may be shown as a changing physical quantity or parameter. In addition, acquisition of positional relationship information is performed for every fixed period or indefinite period.
For example, an impedance acquisition unit including a memory, a processor, and the like acquires a load impedance related to the power receiving coil. The load impedance is acquired at regular intervals or irregular intervals.
Here, the load impedance may be obtained, for example, by detecting a current value and a voltage value related to the power receiving circuit and based on the detected current value and voltage value. The detection of the current value and the voltage value related to the power receiving circuit may be performed, for example, at the input terminal of the power receiving circuit or may be performed after the rectifier circuit.
For example, the control unit including a memory, a processor, and the like changes the characteristics of the matching circuit based on the positional relationship information acquired by the positional relationship acquisition unit and the load impedance acquired by the impedance acquisition unit. Specifically, for example, the control unit changes the characteristics of the matching circuit based on the positional relationship information and the load impedance (that is, performs so-called impedance matching) so that the power receiving efficiency is improved. Note that the characteristics of the matching circuit are changed at regular intervals or irregular intervals.
As a result of the above, according to the power receiving device according to the present embodiment, even if the positional relationship between the power transmission coil and the power receiving coil changes during power reception, power reception can be continued appropriately. In addition, the impedance can be adjusted even when a DC-DC converter is not used as in the technique described in
In one aspect of the power receiving device according to the embodiment, the power receiving circuit is electrically connected between a power source (typically a DC power source) that can supply power to the power receiving circuit and an input terminal and an output terminal of the power receiving circuit. When the load impedance is acquired by the impedance acquisition unit, the switching unit further includes a switching unit that switches between the first electric circuit to be connected and the second electric circuit to which the power source and the output terminal are electrically connected. The switching means selects the second electric circuit.
According to this aspect, a relatively accurate load impedance can be obtained, which is very advantageous in practice.
Embodiments according to the power receiving device of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
First, a basic configuration of wireless power transmission will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. FIG. 1 is a conceptual diagram showing a basic configuration of a wireless power transmission system. FIG. 2 is a diagram showing an equivalent circuit of the basic configuration shown in FIG. FIG. 3 is a diagram showing the equivalent circuit shown in FIG. 2 so as to be suitable for F parameter analysis.
In Figure 1, the power-transmitting-side apparatus, a high frequency power source output impedance Z G, is configured to include a transmission-side series resonant capacitor of capacitance C 1, and the power transmission coil of the inductance L 1, a. On the other hand, the power receiving side apparatus, the power receiving coil of the inductance L 2, is configured to include a power receiving side series resonant capacitor of capacitance C 2, and a load Z L, the.
Using the mutual inductance L m , inductance L 1, and inductance L 2 between the power transmission side coil and the power reception side coil, the coupling coefficient k between the power transmission side coil and the power reception side coil can be expressed by the following equation. it can. The coupling coefficient k changes according to the size and form of each of the power transmission side coil and the power reception side coil and the distance between the power transmission side coil and the power reception side coil.

In FIG. 4, the wireless power transmission system according to the embodiment includes a power transmission device 10 and a
The power transmission device 10 includes a

The series resonant capacitor included in the
The matching circuit 120 and the rectifier circuit 130 constitute an example of a “power receiving circuit” according to the present invention. Here, the matching circuit 120 includes a variable capacitor and a variable coil. That is, the matching circuit 120 is a variable matching circuit. Output P out of the power receiving circuit, for example, is electrically connected to a
The
The coupling
The
The
Here, the effect of the power receiving device 100 according to the present embodiment will be described with reference to a comparative example.
For example, in the wireless power transmission system shown in FIG. 5, it is difficult to keep the power transmission efficiency at the maximum because it cannot cope with the load fluctuation. In the wireless power transmission system shown in FIG. 6, the matching circuit is provided before the rectifier circuit on the power receiving side, so that the power transmission efficiency can be maximized for a specific load. However, even in the wireless power transmission system shown in FIG. 6, it is difficult to maintain the power transmission efficiency to the maximum because it cannot cope with the load fluctuation.
On the other hand, in the power receiving apparatus 100 according to the present embodiment, as described above, the optimum load Z L_opt is calculated by the
Next, matching circuit control processing performed in the power receiving device 100 configured as described above will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG.
In FIG. 7, first, the coupling
Subsequently, the
In parallel with the above steps S101 and S102, the direct current value is measured by the
Next, the
For complex impedance (or complex admittance), a table indicating the relationship between the load resistance value RL and the complex impedance (or complex admittance) is stored in advance in the memory of the
