Description
1つの態様において、本開示は、潤滑粘度を有する油、アルキル置換フェニル−α−ナフチルアミンおよび少なくとも1種の油溶性トリアゾールもしくはトリアゾール誘導体を
含有している潤滑組成物を提供するものであり、この組成物にはジフェニルアミンもこれのアルキル置換誘導体も含有させない。
この上で行った一般的説明および以下に行う詳細な説明は両方とも単に例示および説明でありかつ請求する如き本開示のさらなる説明を行うことを意図したものであると理解さ
れるべきである。
本開示では、高い酸化安定性、優れた錆、乳化破壊および空気放出特性を維持しながら現在入手可能な組成物に比べてスラッジおよびワニス沈着物を生じる傾向が大きく低下したタービンおよび/または油圧油を提供する。
業的に入手可能であり、またはChemtura Petroleum AdditivesからNaugalube(R)のブランド(例えばNaugalube(R) APAN)で商業的に入手可能である。そのアルキル鎖の炭素原子数は典型的に8から12である。そのような一例はIrganox(R) LO6であり、これはオクチル置換フェニル−ア
ルファ−ナフチルアミンである。
スファルト系基油および混合基油である。合成油にはとりわけポリオレフィン油(特に水添アルファ−オレフィンオリゴマー)、アルキル置換芳香族、ポリアルキレンオキサイド、芳香族エーテルおよびカルボン酸エステル(特にジエステル)が含まれる。いくつかの態様では、芳香族炭化水素油が希釈剤として用いるに好適である。
、例えばジ炭化水素およびトリ炭化水素ホスフェート、即ちジブチルホスフェート、ジヘプチルホスフェート、ジシクロヘキシルホスフェート、ペンチルフェニルホスフェート;ジペンチルフェニルホスフェート、トリデシルホスフェート、ジステアリルホスフェートおよびポリプロピレン置換フェノールホスフェートなど、金属のチオカルバミン酸塩、例えばジオクチルチオカルバミン酸亜鉛など、およびバリウムヘプチルフェノール二酸(例えばジシクロヘキシルホスホロジチオ酸亜鉛とホスホロジチオ酸の亜鉛塩の組み合わせが使用可能)およびこれらの混合物が含まれる。

以上であったとしても、これらの実施例がRPVOTが25%の時にもたらしたスラッジの量は100mg/Kg以上であることが図3から分かるであろう。実施例14−16では、液状トリアゾールの濃度を低くした時にその濃度がMHI Dry TOST試験において500時間後のスラッジ量に与える影響を示す。このように、トリアゾール化合物の濃度を0.04重量%(実施例14)から0.01重量%(実施例15)にまで少なくするとスラッジの濃度が高くなりかつ残存RPVOTが低下する。そのようなスラッジおよび残存RPVOTの両方に対して示す影響は、液状トルトリアゾール誘導体を存在させない(実施例16)とより顕著になる。
TOST試験において120℃で50%の残存RPVOTに到達するに要する試験時間が少なくとも700時間である潤滑組成物。
TOST試験において120℃で25%の残存RPVOTに到達するに要する試験時間が少なくとも1000時間である潤滑組成物。
Claims (9)
- 唯一の抗酸化剤としてのアルキル置換フェニル−α−ナフチルアミン、ただし該アルキル置換フェニル−α−ナフチルアミンは炭素原子数が8−12のアルキル基を有する、および唯一の金属不活性化剤としてのN,N−ビス(2−エチルヘキシル)−ar−メチル
−1H−ベンゾトリアゾール−1−メタンアミンを含有して成り、ジフェニルアミン、そのアルキル置換誘導体および脂肪酸アミド化合物を含有していない、ことを特徴とする添加剤濃縮組成物。 - 更に防錆剤、乳化破壊剤、希釈用油およびこれらの組み合わせから選択される添加剤も含有して成る請求項1記載の組成物。
- APIグループII、IIIおよびIVのベースストックから選択される潤滑粘度を有する油と組み合わせたときに、修飾MHI Dry TOST試験において120℃で少なくとも500時間の試験時間後の残存RPVOTが25%である請求項1記載の組成物。
- APIグループII、IIIおよびIVのベースストックから選択される潤滑粘度を有する油と組み合わせたときに、修飾MHI Dry TOST試験において120℃で500時間の試験時間後のスラッジの量が65mg/Kg未満である請求項1記載の組成物。
- APIグループII、IIIおよびIVのベースストックから選択される潤滑粘度を有する油と組み合わせたときに、修飾MHI Dry TOST試験において120℃で800時間の試験時間後の残存RPVOTが少なくとも25%である請求項1記載の組成物。
- APIグループII、IIIおよびIVのベースストックから選択される潤滑粘度を有する油と組み合わせたときに、修飾MHI Dry TOST試験において120℃で25%の残存RPVOTに到達するに要する試験時間が少なくとも500時間である請求項1に記載の組成物。
- APIグループII、IIIおよびIVのベースストックから選択される潤滑粘度を有する油と組み合わせたときに、修飾MHI Dry TOST試験において120℃で50%の残存RPVOTに到達するに要する試験時間が少なくとも700時間である請求項1に記載の組成物。
- APIグループII、IIIおよびIVのベースストックから選択される潤滑粘度を有する油と組み合わせたときに、修飾MHI Dry TOST試験において120℃で25%の残存RPVOTに到達するに要する試験時間が少なくとも1000時間である請求項1に記載の組成物。
- (a)唯一の抗酸化剤としてのアルキル置換フェニル−α−ナフチルアミン、ただし該アルキル置換フェニル−α−ナフチルアミンは炭素数が8−12のアルキル基を有する、
(b)唯一の金属不活性化剤としてのN,N−ビス(2−エチルヘキシル)−ar−メチ
ル−1H−ベンゾトリアゾール−1−メタンアミン、および
(c)防錆剤、乳化破壊剤、消泡剤、分散剤、洗浄剤、希釈用油、こはく酸化ポリオレフィン、粘度調整剤、流動点降下剤、帯電防止剤、錆防止剤、極圧/抗摩耗剤およびシールスウェル剤から選択される少なくとも1つの添加剤、
を含有して成り、脂肪酸アミド化合物を含有していない、ことを特徴とする添加剤濃縮組成物。
