Description
特許文献1は、ガードにピアノ線を用い、V形に開脚したその直線部分に撓み性を与えるためにトーションスプリングコイルを利用した釣り針である。ガードの直線部分が針先の前方にてV形に開脚し、且つ、針先に対して傾斜するように設けられている。このガードはトーションスプリングコイルを設けた取付基部が結束用糸材で釣り針本体(軸)に固定されている。
特許文献2ではジグヘッドにおいて、前端にフックが設けられた錘部分に樹脂製の多数のモノフィラメントからなるブラシガードを備えている。
これらは、前述のように竿を操りながらリールを巻き取って行く際に、水中の水草や水面に浮かぶ浮遊物に接触することがあるが、針先の前方で針先に対して傾斜して配置されたガードがこれらを排除して針先に接触させることがない。そして、魚が疑似餌と共に釣り針を咥えた時、ガードが咥えた魚の口蓋に押されて殆ど抵抗なく倒れ込んだり変形したりする必要があるので、特許文献1のガードは剛直な直線部分に対して適切な撓みを与えるためにトーションスプリングコイルが採用されている。
特許文献2ではガードがピアノ線に比べて腰のない(撓み易い)樹脂製であるため、これを補うために多数のモノフィラメントを束ねてブラシガードとしている。
同様に、特許文献2のブラシガードはナイロン製なので、前述のように腰が弱くて変形しやすく販売時の形状が崩れやすい。
そして、いずれの場合も使用中に上記のように変形すると元の形状に戻らないので耐久性に乏しいという問題もある。
ガード10は超弾性合金で形成され、釣り針30の軸30aを跨がないようにガード取付穴24に配設され、且つ、接着剤40でガード取付穴24に固定され、
ガード取付穴24は開口24aが、楕円形或いは長円又は長方形で、その長軸24bに沿って切断された面が略2等辺三角形又は略2等辺台形で、釣り針30の軸30aの手前迄の深さとなるように形成され、
ガード取付穴24に取り付けられる以前のガード10の挿入端10aの折り曲げ角度θがガード取付穴24の開口角度αより大に形成されていることを特徴とする。
そして、超弾性合金は形状記憶機能も有する。従って、使用中に障害物に引っ掛かったり魚に咥えられたりして変形したり、或いは搬送や店頭販売時に外力が加わってガード10が若干変形しても変形量が8〜10%以下と過大でなければ元に戻ることになり、外形が損なわれなお。換言すれば、本発明のガード付き釣り針50は使用時の耐久性に優れるだけでなく、流通過程における商品価値の毀損も少ない。
なお、接着剤40は、予め挿入端10aに塗布した状態でガード取付穴24に挿入する場合と、ガード10の挿入後に接着剤40を注入する場合とがある。いずれの場合でも、上記作用でガード10はガード取付穴24に一義的に固定され、取り付けが非常に簡単である。
ガードの取り付け作業においては、V形のガードをガード取付穴に挿入するだけで所定の位置や角度に取り付けることが出来、作業工数が大幅に削減される。
超弾性合金は形状記憶合金とも呼ばれ、変態点以上の温度では変形を受けても元の形状を回復する性質を持つ。この変形範囲はピアノ線のような通常のばね材に比べてはるかに広い。特に限定されないが、本実施例の超弾性合金は変態点が常温以下である。
なお、超弾性合金(形状記憶合金)は金属結晶構造の8〜10%以内の曲がり(歪み)に対して、所定の温度(本実施例では常温以下)を加えると元の形状に戻ろうとする性質を発揮する。ただし、金属結晶構造が変わってしまうほどの極端な変形を加えると、もはや復帰せず、塑性変形してその時の形状が「記憶」される。
なお、ベース20は樹脂材料で作ることも可能であり、例えば射出によるインサート成形にて形成される。いずれの場合でもガード取付穴24は、ガード10を強固に固定できるような適切な奥行きと開口角度を備えている。
また、ベース20の上部(ガード取付穴24の反対側の部位)は、略半球状に形成されており、ガード取付穴24が設けられている部分の外面はガード取付穴24の開口24a方向に向けてテーパー状に形成されている。
ガード取付穴24の開口24aの形状は、前述のように例えば、楕円、長円又は長方形に形成され、ガード取付穴24は開口24aから奥に行くに従って直線的に先細りとなるように形成され、開口24aの長軸24bを含む断面が略2等辺三角形或いは略2等辺台形であるので、手から離れたガード10はその弾発力でガード取付穴24の内側面間の間隔が最大の部分(長軸24bを含む平面とガード取付穴24の内側面の交線)に沿って正確に固定される。
接着剤40は固化前はゾル状態であるからガード10がその弾発力でガード取付穴24で上記適正な位置に位置するようになることは妨げられるものではない。しかも、ガード10は超弾性線材なので、V形に強く折り曲げられたとしても開脚方向に若干復帰する力を有するので、ゾル状態の接着剤40の抵抗があっても単にガード取付穴24挿入するだけで常に適切な位置に位置することになる。なお、接着剤40は、瞬間接着剤を使うことが好ましい。
また、通常の接着剤40を使用する場合、ガード付き釣り針50を常温以上に加熱し、接着剤40を早期固化させてもよい。この間、ガード10は仮に変形があれば、この加熱により本来の形に早期に復帰する。
なお、上記ではV形に折り曲げた1本のガード10を使用する場合を示したが、ガード取付穴24を大きくしたり、複数のガード取付穴24を平行に設けることで1つのガード付き釣り針50に対して複数本のガード10を使用してもよい。
Claims (2)
- 釣り針と、線状材料をV形に折り曲げて形成したガードと、前記釣り針の軸に固定され、折り曲げ端である挿入端が挿入されたガードが針先の前方に位置するように保持するガード取付穴が穿設されたベースとで形成されたガード付き釣り針において、
ガードは超弾性合金で形成され、前記釣り針の軸を跨がないように前記ガード取付穴に配設され、且つ、接着剤で前記ガード取付穴に固定され、
前記ガード取付穴は開口が、楕円形或いは長円又は長方形で、その長軸に沿って切断された面が略2等辺三角形又は略2等辺台形で、前記釣り針の軸の手前迄の深さとなるように形成され、
前記ガード取付穴に取り付けられる以前の前記ガードの挿入端の折り曲げ角度が前記ガード取付穴の開口角度より大に形成されていることを特徴とするガード付き釣り針。 - ガード取付穴の開口の長軸がガード取付穴の開口に対する平面視で釣り針の軸に対して直交するように設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガード付き釣り針。
