Description
本開示は、脊椎器具を固定するための閉鎖型ヘッド骨ネジを対象とする。多軸ネジと単軸ネジとの両方について記載する。
脊椎器具を使用して、外傷または先天的欠陥に起因する損傷および変形などの、様々な状態を治療することがある。また、脊椎器具を脊椎固定術に使用して、損傷または椎間板ヘルニアによる障害を緩和することもある。脊椎器具は、一般に個々の椎骨に取り付けるための多数の骨ネジを備える。椎弓根は患者の背から容易に接近でき、椎弓根は非常に深い皮質骨を供給するので、椎弓根は好ましい付着点である。椎弓根ネジが適所に配置されたのち、1つ以上のロッドが、垂直、かつ脊椎の長軸に略平行に配置されて、椎弓根ネジに連結される。各ロッドは通常少なくとも2つのネジに連結され、そのそれぞれは異なる椎骨に取り付けられる。その構成全体は、椎骨を適切に整列させるかつ/または分離させる役目を果たす。該構成を骨移植または骨セメントなどで補完して、治癒および長期的な安定性などを促進することがある。

したがって、小型かつ高強度の多軸および単軸の骨ネジが必要とされている。
本開示は、強度を犠牲にすることなくサイズが大幅に低減された、閉鎖型ヘッド設計を使用する前述の必要性を満たし、他の利点は本明細書の検討から明らかとなろう。
図1は、本開示の一態様に係る、閉鎖型ヘッド多軸ネジの断面図である。

Claims (14)
- 止めネジと、
骨ネジと、
前記止めネジを受容するように構成された上孔部、および前記骨ネジを受容するように構成された下孔部を備える閉鎖型ヘッドと、
前記骨ネジを前記下孔部内に保持するように構成されたクランプと、
前記クランプを前記下孔部内に着座させるように構成された楔と
を備え、
前記閉鎖型ヘッドは、ロッドを受容するロッド受容孔部を備え、
前記止めネジは、締め付けられて前記ロッドに接するように構成され、かつ、該止めネジの底部に形成されたリップ部を備え、
前記リップ部は、前記上孔部の底部から前記止めネジが外れることを防止する、閉鎖型ヘッド多軸ネジ。 - 前記骨ネジはヘッドを備え、前記クランプは、前記骨ネジの前記ヘッドと前記下孔部内で接触するように構成される、請求項1に記載の多軸ネジ。
- 前記骨ネジの前記ヘッドの外面がテクスチャ加工されるか、または前記クランプの内面がテクスチャ加工される、請求項2に記載の多軸ネジ。
- 前記骨ネジは、二重骨ネジ山を備える、請求項1に記載の多軸ネジ。
- 前記閉鎖型ヘッドは、前記骨ネジに対して複数の角度の少なくとも1つに向けられた、ロッドを受容するように構成される、請求項1に記載の多軸ネジ。
- 前記止めネジは、前記ロッドを前記閉鎖型ヘッド内に保持するように構成される、請求項5に記載の多軸ネジ。
- 前記止めネジは、前記ロッドを前記楔に対して押圧するように構成される、請求項5に記載の多軸ネジ。
- 前記楔は、前記ロッドを受容するように構成された切欠きを備える、請求項7に記載の多軸ネジ。
- 止めネジと、
骨ネジと、
前記骨ネジと一体的に形成された閉鎖型ヘッドであって、前記閉鎖型ヘッドは、前記止めネジを受容するように構成された上孔部を備える、閉鎖型ヘッドと
を備え、
前記閉鎖型ヘッドは、ロッドを受容するロッド受容孔部を備え、
前記止めネジは、締め付けられて前記ロッドに接するように構成され、かつ、該止めネジの底部に形成されたリップ部を備え、
前記リップ部は、前記上孔部の底部から前記止めネジが外れることを防止する、閉鎖型ヘッド多軸ネジ。 - 前記閉鎖型ヘッドは、前記骨ネジに対して複数の角度の少なくとも1つに向けられた、ロッドを受容するように構成される、請求項9に記載の多軸ネジ。
- 前記閉鎖型ヘッド内に位置付けするように構成されたクランプをさらに備え、
前記止めネジは前記クランプを圧縮するように構成され、それによって前記クランプは、前記ロッドを前記閉鎖型ヘッド内に保持させる、請求項10に記載の多軸ネジ。 - 前記クランプは、略円形形状または略球形形状を備える、請求項11に記載の多軸ネジ。
- 前記止めネジは、クランプと接触するように構成された刻みを備える、請求項9に記載の多軸ネジ。
- 前記閉鎖型ヘッドは、クランプを前記閉鎖型ヘッド内で適切な向きに向けるように構成された、オリエンテーションタブを備える、請求項9に記載の多軸ネジ。
