Claims (19)
- 体腔に接近するようになっている拡張可能な経腔的接近シースであって、
近位端、遠位端、および中央を貫通する中枢ルーメンを有する軸方向に細長いシースチューブと、
かけられた圧力に応じて周方向に拡張可能な、前記シースチューブの遠位領域と、
器具の通過を許容する寸法であり、前記シースチューブの前記近位端に固定されたハブと、
挿入時に前記シースチューブの前記中枢ルーメンを閉じる働きをする中枢のオブトラトールと、
標準的な医療ガイドワイヤを通過させることができる、前記オブトラトール内のガイドワイヤルーメンと、
を有し、
前記オブトラトールは、前記シースチューブの前記遠位領域の前記中枢ルーメンを半径方向に拡張させることのできるバルーン拡張器であり、
前記シースチューブは外側層と内側層と補強層とを有し、前記外側層および前記内側層はポリマーを含み、
前記シースチューブは、前記バルーン拡張器の拡張およびそれによって発生する外向きの力によって円周が不可逆的に大きくなるように、塑性変形可能であるかまたは展性を有する材料で構成されている
経腔的接近シース。 - 前記ポリマーの材料はポリオレフィンである、請求項1に記載の経腔的接近シース。
- 前記ポリオレフィンは、高密度ポリエチレンと低密度ポリエチレンの混合物から選択されている、請求項2に記載の経腔的接近シース。
- 前記内側層および前記外側層は、互いに異なるポリマーで作られている、請求項1に記載の経腔的接近シース。
- 前記内側層または前記外側層は、高密度ポリエチレンと低密度ポリエチレンの混合物で作られ、それらの比は一方のポリマーが25%で他方のポリマーが75%である、請求項1に記載の経腔的接近シース。

- 前記補強層は、ポリアミドで製造された組物構造である、請求項1に記載の経腔的接近シース。
- 前記補強層は、1インチ(25.4mm)当たりのピック数が10ピックから30ピックの間であり、撚りの打ち数が8個から42個の間である組物構造である、請求項1に記載の経腔的接近シース。
- 前記補強層は、主直径が0.001インチから0.010インチ(0.0254mmから0.254mm)の間である繊維を有する組物構造である、請求項1に記載の経腔的接近シース。
- 前記補強層は、断面が実質的に変形可能である、請求項1に記載の経腔的接近シース。
