Description
更なる液滴が、前記第1の横断の個々の液滴間の所定の位置に、付着され得る。完成したパターンは、ドットもしくは画素の正方形のマトリックスを基礎とし得る。更なる液滴は、鮮明度を増すために、各正方形の中心に付着され得る。更に、前記パターンは、第1の一連の行を形成し、更なる液滴が、例えば正方形のマトリックスを完成させるために、前記第1の行間に第2の一連の行を形成し得る。前記液滴が付着される方法は、所望のパターンもしくは液滴解像度に依るだろう。相対的な横断と移動とによって規定される帯状領域の角度が、この方法を果たすために選択され得る。速度をより速く、付着密度をより低くするためには、より大きな帯状領域の角度が、選択され得る。また、次の液滴が第1のパターンの上に重ねられる方法は、所望の出来上がりのパターンに従って、選択され得る。正方形のマトリックスのパターンに対しては、複数の代替となる帯状領域の角度が、可能である。このような正方形のドットマトリックスは、既存の画像処理技術及びソフトウェアを利用するという目的のプリントに対して好ましい。仕上げの目的に対しては、いかなる規則的なマトリックスも、同様に適切であり、更なるパターンが、無規則的なマトリックスを用いて形成され得る。上述の種々のパラメータを変えることによって、場合によっては特定のインクジェットとの組み合わせで、六角形のパターン及びモアレパターンを含むがこれらに限定されない多数のパターンが、可能である。
Claims (19)
- 連続的に移動する基質上への物質の付着方法であり、
基質を移動方向に連続的に移動させることと、
複数の斜めの帯状領域に物質を付着するように、付着装置を、前記基質を横断方向に横切って、横断させることと、
前記複数の斜めの帯状領域が互いを補完するように、前記付着装置と基質との相対移動を制御することとを具備し、
前記付着装置は、第1並びに第2のキャリッジを有し、各キャリッジは、同じ基質に物質を付着させる、複数のインクジェットヘッドを有し、
この方法は、夫々のキャリッジの複数のインクジェットヘッドにより付着された複数の帯状領域が反対の位相で付着されて、前記基質の実質的に均一な被覆を与え、
前記横断の間の移動方向の距離は、各キャリッジのインクジェットヘッドの付着幅よりも長くなく、また、
前記付着装置の少なくとも一部分を、前記基質の移動が続いている間に、一時停止させ、この一時停止の間に、前記付着手段のメンテナンスを行うことを更に具備する、方法。 - 前記キャリッジの各々の複数のインクジェットヘッドは、前記移動方向に並べられており、前記帯状領域の各々は、複数のインクジェットヘッドのうちの1つによって付着される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記キャリッジの各々は、前記横断方向に並べられている複数の更なるインクジェットヘッドを有し、これら更なるインクジェットヘッドの各々は、前記物質とは異なる物質を基質に付着させる請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記第2のキャリッジのインクジェットヘッドの付着幅に対応する全長を移動方向に有する部分的に被覆されていない帯状領域を残すように、前記第1のキャリッジの複数のインクジェットヘッドは、互いに離間され、
この方法は、次に、前記部分的に被覆されていない帯状領域を完成させるために、第2のキャリッジの前記インクジェットヘッドが前記基質を横断することを可能にすることを含む請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記基質の各部分を少なくとも2回、前記インクジェットヘッドを横断させることを含む請求項1乃至4のいずれか1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数のインクジェットヘッドの各々は、前記基質の規定されたマトリックス位置に、物質の複数の個々の液滴をプリントすることを含む請求項1乃至5のいずれか1に記載の方法。
- 所定のパターンを完成させるために、第1の横断の個々の液滴間の規定されたマトリックス位置で、第2の横断の個々の液滴をプリントすることを含む請求項5又は6に記載の方法。
- この方法は、正方形のマトリックスもしくは六方形のマトリックスで個々の液滴をプリントすることを含む請求項6又は7に記載の方法。
- 前記基質は、布地であり、前記インクジェットヘッドは、仕上げ用のインクジェットヘッドでありこの方法は、布地に仕上げ剤を適用することを含む請求項1乃至8のいずれか1に記載の方法。
- 前記仕上げ剤は、帯電防止剤、抗菌剤、抗ウイルス剤、抗真菌剤、薬用剤、難燃性剤、撥水加工剤、紫外線防止剤、悪臭防止剤、耐摩耗剤、耐汚剤、接着剤、硬化剤、軟化剤、弾性強化剤、色素結合剤、導電性の薬剤、半導電性の薬剤、感光性薬剤、発光性薬剤、光学的光沢剤、防縮加工剤、軟化剤、撥油剤、撥汚剤、防汚剤、縮充剤、耐縮充剤、調整剤、艶出し剤、艶消し剤、滑り止め付薬剤、ほつれ防止剤、反射剤、放出制御剤、指示剤、親水性薬剤、疎水性薬剤、耐擦傷剤、及び湿潤剤からなるグループから選択される請求項9に記載の方法。
- 供給される基質を、移動方向に、連続的に移動させるための基質移動装置と、
帯状領域に物質を付着するために、基質を横断するように移動可能に配置され、第1並びに第2のキャリッジを有し、各キャリッジは、同じ基質に物質を付着させる、前記移動方向に並べられた複数のインクジェットヘッドを有している、付着装置と、
夫々のキャリッジの複数のインクジェットヘッドにより付着された複数の帯状領域が反対の位相で付着されて、前記物質による前記基質のほぼ均一な被覆を確実にするために、各キャリッジの移動を制御して、前記付着装置の横断速度と前記基質の移動速度とを、もしくは、付着装置の位置と基質の位置とを同期させるための制御装置と、を具備し、
各キャリッジにおいて、複数のプリントインクジェットヘッドは、移動方向に一定の幅を有し、これらの幅に対応した移動方向の距離だけ、互いに離間されている、プリント装置。 - 各キャリッジは、前記基質を独立して横断するための駆動装置を有する請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記基質移動装置は、基質を受けるための幅を有し、前記付着装置は、少なくともこの幅に対応した長さだけ移動方向に延びている請求項11又は12のいずれか1に記載の装置。
- 各キャリッジは、複数の更なるプリントインクジェットヘッドを有しており、これら更なるプリントインクジェットヘッドは、横断方向に並べられており、これら更なるプリントインクジェットヘッドの各々は、前記物質とは異なる物質を付着するように構成されている請求項11乃至13のいずれか1に記載の装置。
- 被覆の欠陥を修正するために、前記付着装置に続いて前記基質を横断するように構成されている修正インクジェットヘッドを更に有する請求項11乃至14のいずれか1に記載の装置。
- 前記基質の情報を読み取り、前記物質の付着を案内するために、制御装置にこの情報を提供するように設けられた読み取り装置を更に有する請求項11乃至15のいずれか1に記載の装置。
- 前記複数のインクジェットヘッドは、前記基質上の規定の位置に、前記物質の複数の液滴を個々にプリントする請求項11乃至16のいずれか1に記載の装置。
- 前記付着装置は、前記物質の連続的な供給源を有する請求項11乃至17のいずれか1に記載の装置。
- 前記基質は、布地から成り、前記移動装置は、付着の間に前記基質のずれを防ぐために取着装置を有する請求項11乃至18のいずれか1に記載の装置。
