Description
前記内燃機関の運転時の負荷を検出する負荷検出手段と、
前記混合燃料のアルコール濃度を検出するアルコール濃度検出手段と、
前記負荷検出手段によって検出された負荷が所定負荷値より高く、かつ、前記アルコール濃度検出手段によって検出されたアルコール濃度が所定濃度値より高い場合に、吸気弁の開弁期間と前記ポート噴射弁からの混合燃料の噴射期間とが重なる期間である同期噴射期間における燃料噴射量を負荷に応じて増量すると共に、前記噴射期間のうち前記開弁期間と重ならない期間である非同期噴射期間における燃料噴射量を一定にする同期噴射燃料増量手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする。
また、本発明によれば、内燃機関の運転時の負荷が所定負荷値より高く、かつ、混合燃料のアルコール濃度が所定濃度値より高い場合に、非同期噴射期間における燃料噴射量を一定にするので、同期噴射期間に噴射された燃料の多くをボア壁面に付着させたとしても、非同期噴射期間において一定量噴射された燃料によって、筒内での燃焼に支障が出るような状況を未然に回避することもできる。
[実施の形態1のシステム構成]
図1は、本発明の実施の形態1にかかる内燃機関の制御装置の構成を、これが適用される内燃機関の構成とともに示す図である。図1に示すように、本実施形態のシステムは、車両の動力源として用いられる内燃機関2を備えている。内燃機関2は、気筒4を有している。図1では1つの気筒のみが描かれているが、一般的な車両用のエンジンは複数の気筒から構成されている。
図2は、実施の形態1の内燃機関2における同期噴射燃料増量制御を説明するための図である。図2には、燃料噴射期間がエンジン負荷に応じて変化する様子が表されている。図2に示すように、エンジン負荷が高くなると必要な燃料噴射量が増加するため燃料噴射期間が長くなる。ここで、エンジン負荷が所定負荷値以下の場合における燃料噴射制御を通常の燃料噴射制御とする。通常の燃料噴射制御は、非同期噴射期間及び同期噴射期間のそれぞれが長くなる。ここで、所定負荷値とは、気筒4内に堆積物が発生しやすくなる温度における負荷の値をいい、実験結果に基づいて最適な値に設定される。
図3は、実施の形態1においてECUで実行されるルーチンのフローチャートである。ECUは、本ルーチンを記憶するためのメモリーを有している。ECUは、記憶した本ルーチンを実行するためのプロセッサを有している。

Claims (3)
- ポート噴射弁を備えるガソリン及びアルコールの混合燃料を使用可能な内燃機関の制御装置であって、
前記内燃機関の運転時の負荷を検出する負荷検出手段と、
前記混合燃料のアルコール濃度を検出するアルコール濃度検出手段と、
前記負荷検出手段によって検出された負荷が所定負荷値より高く、かつ、前記アルコール濃度検出手段によって検出されたアルコール濃度が所定濃度値より高い場合に、吸気弁の開弁期間と前記ポート噴射弁からの混合燃料の噴射期間とが重なる期間である同期噴射期間における燃料噴射量を負荷に応じて増量すると共に、前記噴射期間のうち前記開弁期間と重ならない期間である非同期噴射期間における燃料噴射量を一定にする同期噴射燃料増量手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記同期噴射燃料増量手段は、前記同期噴射期間を負荷に応じて長くすることで燃料噴射量を増量することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記同期噴射燃料増量手段は、前記同期噴射期間における前記混合燃料の噴射圧を負荷に応じて高くすることで燃料噴射量を増量することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
