Claims (18)
- 複数のデータライン及び複数のゲートラインが形成され、駆動モードがタッチモードである場合、前記複数のデータラインとは別の信号ラインを介してタッチ駆動信号が印加される複数のタッチ電極が形成されたパネルと、
前記複数のデータラインを駆動して、前記駆動モードがディスプレイモードの場合、前記複数のデータラインにデータ電圧を出力し、前記駆動モードがタッチモードである場合、少なくとも一つのデータラインに上記タッチ駆動信号と対応するロードフリー駆動信号を出力するデータ駆動部と、
前記複数のゲートラインを駆動し、前記駆動モードがディスプレイモードである場合、ゲートライン駆動のためのスキャン信号を前記複数のゲートラインに順次に出力し、且つ前記駆動モードが前記タッチモードである場合、前記タッチ駆動信号に対応するロードフリー駆動信号を少なくとも一つのゲートラインに出力するゲート駆動部と、
前記ロードフリー駆動信号を生成するレベルシフターと、
前記駆動モードに応じてスキャン電圧、又は前記ロードフリー駆動信号を前記ゲート駆動部に入力するマルチプレクサとを含み、
タッチモード中は、信号ラインに接続されたタッチ電極とデータラインとが互いに短絡されておらず、タッチ駆動信号がタッチ電極に信号ラインを介して供給され、ロードフリー駆動信号が信号ラインとは短絡されていないデータラインに供給される、インセルタッチ型の表示装置。 - 前記複数のタッチ電極の各々は、互いに分離されたブロック状になっていることを特徴とする、請求項1記載のインセルタッチ型の表示装置。
- 前記複数のタッチ電極は、
前記タッチモード時にのみ前記タッチ駆動信号が印加されるタッチモード専用電極であるか、前記ディスプレイモード時にはディスプレイ駆動信号が印加され、且つ前記タッチモード時には前記タッチ駆動信号が印加されるモード共用電極であることを特徴とする、請求項1記載のインセルタッチ型の表示装置。 - 前記複数のタッチ電極が前記モード共用電極である場合、画像表示のために、前記パネルにブロック化されて形成された複数の共通電極を前記複数のタッチ電極として活用し、前記パネルにブロック化されて形成された前記複数の共通電極に該当する前記複数のタッチ電極は、前記駆動モードがディスプレイモードである場合、前記ディスプレイ駆動信号として共通電圧が印加され、且つ前記駆動モードが前記タッチモードである場合、少なくとも一つに、前記タッチ駆動信号が印加されることを特徴とする、請求項3記載のインセルタッチ型の表示装置。
- 前記パネルには、前記複数のタッチ電極の各々に連結された信号ラインが形成され、前記信号ラインは前記ディスプレイモード時、連結されたタッチ電極に前記共通電圧を伝達し、且つ前記タッチモード時、連結されたタッチ電極に前記タッチ駆動信号を伝達することを特徴とする、請求項4記載のインセルタッチ型の表示装置。
- 前記ゲート駆動部は、前記タッチモード時、全ゲートラインに前記タッチ駆動信号に対応するロードフリー駆動信号を出力するか、前記タッチ駆動信号が印加される少なくとも一つのタッチ電極と寄生キャパシタを形成する位置に形成された少なくとも一つのゲートラインに前記タッチ駆動信号に対応するロードフリー駆動信号を出力することを特徴とする、請求項1記載のインセルタッチ型の表示装置。
- 前記データ駆動部は、前記タッチモード時、全データラインに前記タッチ駆動信号に対応するロードフリー駆動信号を出力するか、前記タッチ駆動信号が印加される少なくとも一つのタッチ電極と寄生キャパシタを形成することができる位置に設けられた少なくとも一つのデータラインに前記タッチ駆動信号に対応するロードフリー駆動信号を出力することを特徴とする、請求項1記載のインセルタッチ型の表示装置。
- 前記レベルシフターは、入力されたタイミング信号に基づいて、前記スキャン電圧を前記タッチ駆動信号に同期化して変調することにより、前記タッチ駆動信号に対応する前記ロードフリー駆動信号を生成することを特徴とする、請求項1記載のインセルタッチ型の表示装置。
- 前記ロードフリー駆動信号の生成に必要な前記タイミング信号を前記レベルシフターに出力するマイクロコントロールユニットを更に含む、請求項8記載のインセルタッチ型の表示装置。
- 前記マイクロコントロールユニットは、データ駆動部及びゲート駆動部を制御するタイミングコントローラからタッチイネーブル信号の入力を受け、前記タッチイネーブル信号を前記マルチプレクサに出力することを特徴とする、請求項9記載のインセルタッチ型の表示装置。
- 前記マルチプレクサは、前記タイミングコントローラ若しくは前記マイクロコントロールユニットから入力されたタッチイネーブル信号に基づいて前記スキャン電圧と前記ロードフリー駆動信号のいずれか一つを選択的に前記ゲート駆動部に出力することを特徴とする、請求項10記載のインセルタッチ型の表示装置。
- 前記マイクロコントロールユニットは、前記データ駆動部の内部又は外部に含まれることを特徴とする、請求項9記載のインセルタッチ型の表示装置。
- 前記スキャン電圧を前記マルチプレクサに出力するパワー管理集積回路を更に含む、請求項1記載のインセルタッチ型の表示装置。
- 前記パワー管理集積回路は、前記データ駆動部の内部又は外部に含まれることを特徴とする、請求項13記載のインセルタッチ型の表示装置。
- データ駆動部及びゲート駆動部を制御するタイミングコントローラを更に含み、且つ前記タイミングコントローラは前記データ駆動部の内部に含まれることを特徴とする、請求項1記載のインセルタッチ型の表示装置。
- 前記タッチ駆動信号が印加された前記少なくとも一つのタッチ電極について、タッチの有無及びタッチ座標を検出するためのキャパシタンスの変化を測定するタッチセンシングユニットを更に含む、請求項1記載のインセルタッチ型の表示装置。
- 前記タッチセンシングユニットは、前記データ駆動部の内部又は外部に含まれることを特徴とする、請求項16記載のインセルタッチ型の表示装置。
- タッチモード時に、タッチ駆動信号がタッチ電極に信号ラインを介して供給される際、データ駆動部はタッチ駆動信号に対応する第1ロードフリー駆動信号(LFDS_data)をデータラインに出力し、ゲート駆動部はタッチ駆動信号に対応する第2ロードフリー駆動信号(LFDS_gate)をゲートラインに出力する、請求項1記載のインセルタッチ型の表示装置。
