また、特許文献2に記載の侵食防止剤は、酸性が強く、植物の種類によっては発芽が阻害されるおそれがあった。
さらに、特許文献3の土壌改良剤は、固形であるため法面に浸透しにくく、早期の法面安定化が期待できなかった。
また、植物の発芽生育にふさわしい範囲に中和処理が施されているため、発芽生育が促進される。
また、予め種子を混合するため、目的とする植物の発芽生育を促進させることができる。
つまり、キトサンの濃度が3000ppmを下回ると、キトサンの接着力が低下してしまう。また、キトサンの濃度が12000ppmを上回ると、溶解しないキトサンが発生してしまう。
キトサンは、法面等の土壌に対する粘着剤として機能する。
本実施形態の法面緑化方法は、図1に示すように、水溶液生成工程S11と、中和工程S12と、緑化資材製造工程S13と、散布工程S14とを備えている。
本実施形態では、予め酢酸で溶解されたキトサン化合物(キトサン:酢酸=6:4)を、水で0.5%〜2.0%の範囲内で希釈することで、濃度が3000ppm〜12000ppmのキトサン水溶液を生成する。
なお、液状緑化資材の散布後に、対象領域内の土壌と液状緑化資材とを混ぜ合わせることで、液状緑化資材を均等に分散させてもよい。
そのため、植物の生育が向上し、法面(対象領域)の早期安定化が実現する。
また、キトサンは、植物に必要な窒素分補給の役割を担い、かつ植物病原菌であるフザリウム等に抗菌性を有しているため、土壌改良のための肥料や農薬等の添加量を低減させることあるいは省略させることが可能である。
参考実施形態の緑化方法では、粉末状または顆粒状のキトサン化合物(以下、「固体状キトサン」という)を、土壌と混合することにより、植生基盤材を生成する。
また、生石灰、消石灰、貝化石、カキガラなどを改良材として使用することで、中和処理を促進させてもよい。
また、このような肥料や改良材を使用することで中和剤の投入を省略してもよい。
表1に示すように、中和処理されたキトサン水溶液を散布した実施例では、播種2日目にコマツナが100%発芽し、播種8日目も良好に生育している結果となった。
つまり、キトサン水溶液を中和することで、水のみが散布された土壌と同様の植物の生育環境が生成されることが実証された。

Claims (2)
- 濃度3000ppm〜12000ppmのキトサン水溶液、種子および肥料を含む液状緑化資材であって、
前記キトサン水溶液が、pHが4.5〜6.7の範囲内になるように窒素、リン酸またはカリウムを含むアルカリ性薬剤である中和剤で中和処理されていることを特徴とする、液状緑化資材。 - 濃度3000ppm〜12000ppmのキトサン水溶液に窒素、リン酸またはカリウムを含むアルカリ性薬剤である中和剤を混合してpHが4.5〜6.7の範囲内になるように中和処理する工程と、
中和処理されたキトサン水溶液に肥料および種子を混ぜ合わせて液状緑化資材を製造する工程と、
前記液状緑化資材を対象領域に散布または対象領域内の土壌と混ぜ合わせる工程と、を備えることを特徴とする、法面緑化方法。
