刃物台に設けられ、横向きの回転軸を有するタレットの外周部に工具を固定する工作機械の工具固定構造において、
前記タレットの外周部に形成され、該タレットの先端面及び外周面に開口するスリット状の凹部と、
前記タレットの先端面に着脱可能に取り付けられ、前記凹部の先端面側の開口の少なくとも一部を閉塞する環状の蓋部材と、
前記凹部と前記蓋部材とで形成された穴状の取付け部内に配置される棒状の工具と、
該工具と前記凹部の内面との間に配置され、前記工具を前記凹部の内面に押し付ける楔状の固定具とを有する
ことを特徴とする工作機械の工具固定構造。
