Claims (1)
- 断面ハット形状を成した一方の金属板に設けられた一対のフランジ部と、前記一方の金属板よりも薄い他方の金属板とを重ね合わせ、両金属板の重合部に一方側から一対の電極を当接させ、この一対の電極の間に電流を流すことにより前記2枚の金属板を溶接し、自動車の骨格部品として使用される中空柱状部材を形成するための抵抗溶接方法であって、
前記一方の金属板の一方のフランジ部に一方の電極を当接させると共に、前記他方の金属板の他方のフランジ部に他方の電極を当接させることにより、前記一方の金属板のみを通って一対の電極間を最短で結ぶ通電経路(L1)を、前記他方の金属板を通って一対の電極間を最短で結ぶ通電経路(L2)よりも長くした抵抗溶接方法。
