Claims (4)
- シールハウジングと回転軸との間隙のケミカル流体をシールするメカニカルシール装置であって、
前記シールハウジングに接合するシールカバーの内周面に密封に取り付けられて前記回転軸を囲む一端面にシール面を有する固定密封環と、
前記シール面と密接して摺動可能な環状の対向シール面を有する回転密封環と、
前記回転密封環を密封に嵌着して前記回転軸を囲む第1固定環と、前記回転軸と密封に嵌着可能な第2固定環とを有し、且つ前記回転軸を囲んで一端部が前記第1固定環と密封に連結するとともに他端部が前記第2固定環と密封に連結する弾性ベローズを有する固定部と、を具備し、
前記回転密封環は、前記対向シール面の前記ケミカル流体側の周面に、前記対向シール面と前記シール面との摺動面間に潤滑液としてのフラッシング流体を導入する流体導入口を有するとともに、
前記固定密封環は、環状の該シール面に、該シール面の中心からの複数の放射線の各放射線上に沿って複数個のディンプルを有しており、
前記シールカバーは、外部から導入される潤滑液としてのフラッシング流体が前記流体導入口の位置をフラッシングするように形成されたフラッシング流体通路としての貫通孔を有する
ことを特徴とするメカニカルシール装置。 - 前記シールカバーは、その内周面の機外部側に取り付けられ前記固定密封環との間に流体室を形成するシール部品と、外部から前記流体室に貫通する供給孔とをさらに有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のメカニカルシール装置。
- 前記固定密封環が炭化珪素材で形成されているとともに前記回転密封環がカーボン材で形成されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のメカニカルシール装置。
- 前記ベローズが金属材製または樹脂材製で前記回転密封環の対向シール面を前記固定密封環のシール面に対して弾発して密接させるばね手段に構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のメカニカルシール装置。
