Description
Claims (9)
- 電池容器に設けられた、正極/セパレータ/負極構造からなるジェリーロール型電極アセンブリ(「ジェリーロール」)を有する二次電池であって、該ジェリーロールの捲回端部を含む、該ジェリーロールの外側にシールテープを貼り付け、該シールテープと電解液が反応した結果、該シールテープがゲル化することを特徴とし、
更に、前記シールテープは、セルロースアセテートでできていることを特徴とする、二次電池。 - 前記電池容器は、円筒形容器であることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の二次電池。
- 前記シールテープのサイズは、前記ジェリーロールの外周長の50―90%と等しいことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の二次電池。
- 前記シールテープは、テープ形状を有するフィルム基材と、前記ジェリーロールと接触する該フィルム基材の上に貼り付ける接着層から構成され、該フィルム基材はゲル化することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の二次電池。
- 前記シールテープは、厚さ10−30μmのフィルム基材と、厚さ2−10μmの接着層からなることを特徴とする、請求項4記載の二次電池。
- 前記接着層はアクリル接着剤又は、スチレン・ブタジエンゴム(SBR)接着剤であることを特徴とする、請求項5記載の二次電池。
- 前記シールテープに電解液が含浸されている時、前記フィルム基材の物性は、接着性を示す形状に変化することを特徴とする、請求項4記載の二次電池。
- 前記電池容器内における前記ジェリーロールの動きは、前記フィルム基材のゲル化による接着性によって妨げられることを特徴とする、請求項7記載の二次電池。
- 前記電池は、円筒形のリチウム二次電池であることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の二次電池。
