Claims (15)
- 携帯機器の近接センサを使用して、前記携帯機器が物体は前記携帯機器に近接していることを判定するステップであって、前記近接センサは、前記物体と前記携帯機器との間の物理的な接触なしに、前記物体の存在を検出するように構成され、前記近接センサは、前記物体が前記近接センサから閾値の距離以内にあることを検出するステップと、
前記携帯機器が、前記携帯機器の方向は、ほぼ垂直方向であることを判定するステップと、
前記物体が前記携帯機器に近接し、かつ、前記携帯機器の前記方向が前記ほぼ垂直方向であることを判定した後、前記携帯機器のディスプレイを自動的にオフにするステップと、
前記携帯機器の前記ディスプレイがオフにした後、
前記携帯機器のマイクロホンによって受信された可聴入力に基き、一つ以上の音声信号を受信し、
前記携帯機器が、前記近接センサを使用して、前記物体が前記携帯機器に近接していないことを判定し、
前記携帯機器が、前記携帯機器の前記方向がほぼ水平方向であることを判定し、
前記物体が前記携帯機器に近接せず、かつ、前記携帯機器の前記方向が前記ほぼ水平方向であることを判定した後、前記携帯機器の前記ディスプレイを自動的にオンにするステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記携帯機器の前記方向は、前記ディスプレイをオンにする前に、閾値の期間に、前記ほぼ水平方向であることを判定するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記近接センサを使用して、前記物体が前記携帯機器に近接していないことを判定するステップは、前記携帯機器の前記方向が前記ほぼ水平方向であることを判定する前に行われる、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記近接センサは、容量センサ、光電子センサ、又誘導センサのうちの一つを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記携帯機器の前記方向は、前記ディスプレイをオフにする前に、閾値の期間に、前記ほぼ垂直方向であることを判定するステップをさらに含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記携帯機器の前記方向は、前記ほぼ垂直方向、又は、前記ほぼ水平方向であることを判定するステップは、
前記携帯機器の加速度センサによって生成された一つ以上の信号に基づいている、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記加速度センサは、圧電型加速度センサ、容量加速度センサ、又は、微小電気機械加速度センサのうちの少なくとも一つを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記近接センサを使用して、前記物体が前記携帯機器に近接していることを判定するステップと、前記携帯機器の前記方向は、前記ほぼ垂直方向であること判定するステップと、前記携帯機器の前記ディスプレイを自動的にオフにするステップと、前記携帯機器の前記方向が前記ほぼ水平方向であることを判定するステップとの動作は、前記携帯機器の音声通信セッション中にそれぞれ実行される、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記音声通信セッションは、通話を含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記携帯機器の前記方向が前記ほぼ水平方向であることを判定するステップは、
前記携帯機器の方向ベクトルを判定するステップと、
前記方向ベクトルに基づいて前記携帯機器の前記方向を水平として近似するステップと、
を含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記方向ベクトルに基づいて、前記携帯機器の前記方向を水平として近似するステップは、
前記方向ベクトルは、前記携帯機器の主要面に対して概して平行であり、前記方向ベクトルと、重力の方向に概して垂直な平面への前記ベクトルの射影との第一角度を計算するステップと、
前記第一角度は、ほぼ50度より小さい、又は、ほぼ50度に等しいときに、前記携帯機器の前記方向を水平として近似するステップと、
を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。 - 前記携帯機器の前記方向が前記ほぼ垂直方向であることを判定するステップは、
前記携帯機器の方向ベクトルを判定するステップと、
前記方向ベクトルに基づいて、前記携帯機器の前記方向を垂直として近似するステップと、
を含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記方向ベクトルに基づいて、前記携帯機器の前記方向を垂直として近似するステップは、
前記方向ベクトルは、前記携帯機器の主要面に概して平行であり、前記方向ベクトルと、重力の方向に対して概して垂直である平面への前記ベクトルの射影との第一角度を計算するステップと、
前記第一角度がほぼ50度より大きいときに、前記携帯機器の前記方向を垂直として近似するステップと、
を含む、請求項12に記載の方法。 - 請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の方法を実行するための手段を含む、携帯機器。
- 少なくとも一つのプロセッサに、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の方法を実行させるための命令を格納するコンピュータ読み取り可能記録媒体。
