Claims (12)
- 無線モバイルデバイスから、無線ネットワークを介して、前記無線モバイルデバイスからリモートに配置されたサーバへ、地理的な位置を識別する情報を提供するステップと、
それに応答して、前記サーバから、前記地理的な位置で地上レベル近くに配置されたイメージングデバイスによって取り込まれたデジタル画像の画像データを受け取るステップと、
前記無線モバイルデバイスのユーザに、前記地理的な位置の周辺の画像空間の一部を提示する第1の画像の少なくとも一部を表示するステップと、
前記無線モバイルデバイスが振られたことに対応する前記無線モバイルデバイスのヘッディングの変化を検出するステップと、
前記無線モバイルデバイスが振られたことに対応する前記無線モバイルデバイスの前記検出されたヘッディングの変化に自動的に従って、変化が、前記第1の画像の少なくとも一部から前記画像空間の第2の画像の表示へ前記画像空間において前進するように見えるように、前記第1の画像の少なくとも一部の表示を前記第2の画像の表示へ変化させるステップと
を含み、
前記第1の画像および前記第2の画像が、前記地理的な位置で地上レベル近くに配置された前記イメージングデバイスによって取り込まれた前記デジタル画像の一部であり、かつ、

前記無線モバイルデバイスのユーザに、前記地理的な位置の周辺の画像空間の一部を提示する第1の画像の少なくとも一部を表示するステップと、
前記無線モバイルデバイスが振られたことに対応する前記無線モバイルデバイスのヘッディングの変化を検出するステップと、
前記無線モバイルデバイスが振られたことに対応する前記無線モバイルデバイスの前記検出されたヘッディングの変化に自動的に従って、変化が、前記第1の画像の少なくとも一部から前記画像空間の第2の画像の表示へ前記画像空間において前進するように見えるように、前記第1の画像の少なくとも一部の表示を前記第2の画像の表示へ変化させるステップと
を含み、
前記第1の画像および前記第2の画像が、前記地理的な位置で地上レベル近くに配置された前記イメージングデバイスによって取り込まれた前記デジタル画像の一部であり、かつ、
前記第1の画像および前記第2の画像が、前記画像空間の異なる部分を提示する、コンピュータ可読記憶媒体。 - 前記オペレーションは、
ユーザから住所情報を受信するステップと、
前記住所情報を受信したことに応答して、前記住所の周辺の地図を表示するステップと、
前記地図上のユーザ選択結果に基づいて、地理的な位置を識別する前記情報を提供するステップと
をさらに含む請求項7に記載のコンピュータ可読記憶媒体。 - コンピュータ実施視覚ナビゲーションシステムであって、
無線モバイルコンピュータの配向方向を感知するためのコンパスモジュールと、
当該システムからリモートに配置されたサーバと通信して、前記サーバから地理的な位置の周辺の複数の画像を受信するための無線インターフェイスと、
前記コンパスモジュールを使用して前記無線モバイルコンピュータの前記配向方向を決定し、前記地理的な位置の周辺の画像を示す画像データを前記サーバから取得し、前記無線モバイルコンピュータの前記配向方向に対応する配向で当該システムのユーザによって識別される地理的な位置の周辺の画像空間の一部を提示する第1の画像を表示し、前記コンパスモジュールを使用して前記無線モバイルコンピュータが振られたことに対応する前記無線モバイルコンピュータの配向方向の変化を検出し、前記無線モバイルコンピュータが振られたことに対応する前記検出された配向方向の変化に自動的に従って、変化が、前記第1の画像の表示から前記ユーザによって識別される地理的な位置の周辺の画像空間の一部を提示する前記画像空間の第2の画像の表示へ前記画像空間において前進するように見えるように、前記第1の画像の表示を前記第2の画像の表示へ変化させるための命令を有するコードを格納するメモリと通信するプロセッサと
を備え、
前記第1の画像および前記第2の画像が、前記ユーザによって識別される前記地理的な位置で地上レベル近くに配置されたイメージングデバイスによって取り込まれ、かつ、
前記第1の画像および前記第2の画像が、前記画像空間の異なる部分を提示する、コンピュータ実施視覚ナビゲーションシステム。 - 前記コードは、前記コンパスモジュールによって感知されたコンパス読み取り値に従って、前記地理的な位置の周辺で表示を横方向にパンするための命令を含む請求項9に記載のコンピュータ実施視覚ナビゲーションシステム。
- コンピュータ実施視覚ナビゲーションシステムであって、
無線モバイルコンピュータの配向方向を感知するためのコンパスモジュールと、
当該システムからリモートに配置されたサーバと通信して、前記サーバから地理的な位置の周辺の複数の画像を受信するための無線インターフェイスと、
地理的な位置の周辺の画像空間の一部を提示する第1の画像を表示し、かつ、前記無線モバイルコンピュータの振動に対応する前記コンパスモジュールによって検出された配向方向の変化に自動的に従って、変化が、前記第1の画像の表示から前記画像空間の一部を提示する第2の画像の表示へ前進するように見えるように、前記第2の画像へ変化させるための手段と
を備え、
前記第1の画像および前記第2の画像が、前記地理的な位置で地上レベル近くに配置されたイメージングデバイスによって取り込まれ、かつ、
前記第1の画像および前記第2の画像が、前記画像空間の異なる部分を提示する、コンピュータ実施視覚ナビゲーションシステム。 - コンピュータ実施視覚ナビゲーション法であって、
無線モバイルデバイスから、無線ネットワークを介して、前記無線モバイルデバイスからリモートに配置されたサーバへ、地理的な位置を識別する情報を提供するステップと、
それに応答して、前記サーバから、前記地理的な位置で地上レベル近くに配置されたイメージングデバイスによって取り込まれたデジタル画像の画像データを受け取るステップと、
前記無線モバイルデバイスのユーザに、前記地理的な位置の周辺の画像空間の一部を提示する第1の画像の少なくとも一部を表示するステップと、
前記無線モバイルデバイスの振動に対応する前記無線モバイルデバイスのヘッディングの変化を検出するステップと、
前記無線モバイルデバイスの振動に対応する前記無線モバイルデバイスの前記検出されたヘッディングの変化に自動的に従って、変化が、前記第1の画像の表示から前記画像空間の第2の画像の表示へ前記画像空間において前進するように見えるように、前記第1の画像の表示を前記第2の画像の表示へ変化させる前記画像空間を自動的にパンするステップと、
前記検出されたヘッディングの変化に応答して、パニングコントロールを自動的に生成するステップと、
前記パニングコントロールへのユーザ入力を受け取り、前記画像空間のパニングを行うステップと
を含み、
前記第1の画像および前記第2の画像が、前記地理的な位置で地上レベル近くに配置された前記イメージングデバイスによって取り込まれた前記デジタル画像の一部であり、かつ、
前記第1の画像および前記第2の画像が、前記画像空間の異なる部分を提示する、コンピュータ実施視覚ナビゲーション方法。
