Description
The present invention relates to an electronic cassette memory device that stores image data acquired by an electronic cassette that receives radiation irradiated through a subject and detects a radiographic image, and an electronic cassette system using the electronic cassette memory device.
In the medical field, an X-ray imaging apparatus using radiation, for example, X-rays, is known for performing image diagnosis. The X-ray imaging apparatus includes an X-ray source that generates X-rays and an X-ray image detection apparatus that detects an X-ray image by receiving X-rays generated by the X-ray source and transmitted through a subject. As an X-ray image detection apparatus, an X-ray sensitive layer is arranged on a TFT (Thin film transistor) active matrix substrate, and irradiated X-rays representing image information of a subject (patient, etc.) undergoing an X-ray examination. Those using an FPD (flat panel detector) that converts the intensity distribution of the image into digital image data have been put into practical use. The X-ray image detection apparatus is a stationary type in which an FPD is built in an upright photographing stand for photographing a subject in a standing posture or a standing photographing stand for photographing a subject in a prone posture. In addition to the above, a portable X-ray image detection apparatus (hereinafter also referred to as “electronic cassette”) in which an FPD is built in a flat, substantially rectangular parallelepiped cassette type casing has been developed.
Electronic cassettes are used to shoot areas that are difficult to shoot with stationary devices such as elbows and knees, as well as to shoot patients who are difficult to move to the photographic room while lying on a bed in a hospital room. Used when used in other than. When imaging is performed outside the imaging room, it is used in combination with a round-trip car that is a mobile X-ray generation device in which an X-ray source is mounted on a carriage. Taking pictures using a round-trip car, for example, in the radiographing room, install electronic cassettes in the round-trip car according to the number of pictures taken at the round-trip destination, take a round trip around the hospital room, and take pictures The workflow is to return to the shooting room.
Unlike the film cassette and the IP cassette, the electronic cassette synchronizes the X-ray irradiation timing from the X-ray source and the image detection timing for detecting the X-ray image by accumulating signal charges according to the amount of incident X-rays. In addition to the necessity, unlike a film cassette or an IP cassette, a memory device for storing captured image data is required.
Currently, communication functions to synchronize the operation timing of electronic cassettes and X-ray sources, such as film cassettes and IP (imaging plate) cassettes, and storage functions to store data such as storage devices, images There are many old types of round-trip cars that are not equipped with an electronic cassette and do not have a monitor for confirming.
The electronic cassettes described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 self-detect the start of X-ray irradiation from the X-ray source on the electronic cassette side by the irradiation detection unit composed of an X-ray sensor that detects X-rays, and at the irradiation timing. In addition, a function for synchronizing image detection timing and a data storage function for storing image data in a memory device that is detachably attached to the memory attachment portion are provided. According to such an electronic cassette, it is possible to perform imaging even in combination with an old type of round-trip car that does not have a communication function or a data storage function.
With a combination of a conventional electronic cassette and an old type round-the-wheel car, images can be taken and image data can be saved, but since the round-wheel car is not equipped with a monitor, the confirmation of the shot image is not included. A console with a monitor is required. In old type round-trip cars, there is no place to mount the console and it is difficult to carry the console. Therefore, in round-trip photography, the console is often left in the radiographing room while visiting the room.
In this case, confirmation of the photographed image must be performed after returning to the photographing room where the console is located after completion of all scheduled photographing. For this reason, if imaging fails due to mis-synchronization between the X-ray irradiation timing and image detection timing, or if an image data storage error occurs in the memory device, return to the imaging location (patient room) and re-image. It was very troublesome because it had to be done.
As described in Patent Documents 1 and 2, in an electronic cassette having a function of self-detecting the start of X-ray irradiation and a function of storing data in a detachable memory device, proper synchronization can be obtained due to erroneous detection of the irradiation detection unit. There is also a concern that an image detection error may occur without any error, or a data storage error due to a connection error between the memory device and the electronic cassette. There has been a great demand for confirmation at the shooting location whether shooting has been performed or whether image data has been properly stored. Patent Documents 1 and 2 do not disclose or suggest any of the above measures.
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and provides an electronic cassette memory device and an electronic cassette system that can confirm the presence or absence of an image detection error or a data storage error without a console.
As shown in FIG. 3, the

As shown in FIG. 4, in the
The
In the present embodiment, a predetermined area of the
The X-ray
In the housing 28 of the USB memory device 14, a
Further, in the
The
In the present embodiment, as an image detection error by the
The predetermined threshold value used when the
When the image detection operation of the
After determining the presence or absence of a synchronization error, the
The predetermined data size used when the
The operation of the above configuration will be described with reference to the flowchart shown in FIG. When performing X-ray imaging using the
On the other hand, when the USB memory device 14 is not attached to the
After notifying that the USB memory device 14 is powered on by the
After the imaging conditions are read from the
After X-ray imaging is performed, X-ray image data temporarily stored in the
When the data storage of the X-ray image is completed (Y in S106), the
The
When the notification by the
In addition, when the user confirms that the data storage error, the synchronization error, or the image reading error has occurred in the notification by the
As described above, since the USB memory device 14 reports the presence / absence of the data storage error, the synchronization error, and the image reading error with the
Further, since the USB memory device 14 has an error determination unit, the
In the above embodiment, the
In the above embodiment, the
In the above embodiment, a USB memory device is used as the memory device. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and other memory devices such as an SD card other than the USB standard can also be used.
In the above embodiment, X-rays have been described as an example of radiation.
