Description
図1は、本発明の実施の形態におけるターボ式血液ポンプを示す断面図である。このターボ式血液ポンプの基本的な構造は、図5〜図7に示した従来例のものと同様である。従って、図5〜図7に示した要素と同様の要素については、同一の参照符号を付して、説明の繰り返しを簡略化する。また、インペラ5の上面図は図6を参照し、インペラ5の断面図は図7を参照する。

この関係を満足することにより、封鎖部材20による下部軸受け10近傍における血栓の形成を抑制する効果を得ながら、封鎖部材20の設置による耐溶血性の悪化を回避することが可能である。

Claims (6)
- ポンプ室を形成し、入口ポートおよび出口ポートが設けられたハウジングと、
回転軸、複数のベーン及び環状連結部を有し、前記複数のベーンの少なくとも一部の内周端は前記回転軸と結合し、前記各ベーンの外周端は前記環状連結部に結合しているインペラと、
前記ハウジングの底部壁内側を上方に突出させて形成され、前記環状連結部の円筒状の内周面が形成する空間領域に対応する円筒状の外周面を有する台座と、
前記インペラの回転軸の上端を回転自在に支持する上部軸受けと、
前記台座の上面部に設けられ前記インペラの回転軸の下端を回転自在に支持する下部軸受けと、
前記インペラにおける前記ベーンの下部に配置され、前記環状連結部の内側領域の空間を、前記回転軸の周囲の開口部を残して封鎖している封鎖部材と、
前記ハウジングの外側下部に配置され、前記環状連結部との磁気結合を介して前記インペラを回転駆動するロータとを備えたターボ式血液ポンプにおいて、
前記台座の円筒状外周面の直径D、及び前記環状連結部の円筒状内周面と前記台座の円筒状外周面との間に形成された間隙の径方向の寸法である径方向間隙幅Crについて、
前記直径Dは13.5mm≦D≦15.0mmの範囲に設定され、
前記径方向間隙幅Crが前記直径Dに対して、0.20≦Cr/D≦0.28の関係を満足することを特徴とするターボ式血液ポンプ。 - 前記径方向間隙幅Crが、3.0〜3.8mmである請求項1に記載のターボ式血液ポンプ。
- 前記ベーンの下端縁は、頂点が上方に向いた円錐面に沿うように前記回転軸に対して傾斜しており、
前記台座の上面及びその周囲の前記ハウジングの底部壁は、前記ベーンの下端縁に沿った円錐面に形成されている請求項1に記載のターボ式血液ポンプ。 - 前記封鎖部材の開口部の直径をdとしたとき、前記開口部の直径dは、0.20≦d/D≦0.3の範囲に設定されている請求項1に記載のターボ式血液ポンプ。
- 前記ベーンはその上縁が屈曲し、屈曲点を境にして外周縁側である外縁部ベーン上縁、及び中心側である中心部ベーン上縁が形成されており、
前記外縁部ベーン上縁が前記回転軸方向の下方と成す角度を外縁部ベーン上縁角αと定義し、前記中心部ベーン上縁が前記回転軸方向の下方と成す角度を中心部ベーン上縁角βと定義したとき、前記外縁部ベーン上縁角α及び前記中心部ベーン上縁角βはともに鋭角であって、α<βであり、
前記ベーンの上縁に対向する領域における前記ハウジングの前記ポンプ室内壁面は、前記ベーンの上縁に沿った形状を有する請求項1に記載のターボ式血液ポンプ。 - 前記入口ポートから流入する血液が前記ベーンに接触する入口部における前記ベーンの上部端と下部端とを結ぶ線分をベーン入口線Kと定義し、血液が前記ベーンから離れる出口部における前記ベーンの上部端と下部端とを結ぶ線分をベーン出口線Lと定義したとき、
前記ベーンは各々、前記ベーン入口線Kが、前記回転軸に対しねじれの位置にあり、かつ前記ベーン出口線Lが、前記ベーン入口線Kに対しねじれの位置にあるような三次元曲面形状を有する請求項1に記載のターボ式血液ポンプ。
