Claims (55)
- 無線電力充電のための装置であって、
エネルギー貯蔵装置を含む第1の装置と、
前記第1の装置に対して電気コネクタを介して電気的に連結するように構成される第2の装置とを備え、
前記第2の装置が、ループアンテナを有するアンテナ回路を含み、
前記アンテナ回路が、
前記エネルギー貯蔵装置から電力を受け取ると共に、前記ループアンテナを介して電力を無線で伝送するように構成される送信回路と、
前記ループアンテナを介して電力を無線で受け取ると共に、無線で受け取られた前記電力を利用して前記エネルギー貯蔵装置を充電するように構成される受信回路とを含み、
前記第2の装置が、更に、
省電力モードと通常動作モードとの間で定期的に遷移し、
前記通常動作モードで作動している間に電子デバイスの存在を検出し、
電子デバイスが検出されない場合はもとの前記省電力モードへ遷移するように構成される
ことを特徴とする装置。 - 前記第1の装置が、電力を外部電源から受け取るように構成されると共に、
前記アンテナ回路が、電力を前記外部電源から受け取るように更に構成される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記第2の装置が、前記第1の装置の空洞の中に配置されるように構成される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記空洞が、ドライブべイを備える
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の装置。 - 前記第2の装置が、電力を前記電子デバイスに無線で伝送するように構成される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記第2の装置が、前記第1の装置から伸びるように構成された部分を備え、前記部分が、ループアンテナを含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記第2の装置が、前記第1の装置から取り外し可能である
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記第2の装置が、前記第1の装置が前記省電力モードにおいて作動しているときに、前記電子デバイスの前記存在を検出するように更に構成されると共に、
前記第1の装置が、前記第2の装置による前記電子デバイスの検出に応答して、前記省電力モードから充電モードに遷移するように構成される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記ループアンテナが、前記第1の装置の外表面に連結される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記第1の装置の外表面に連結された取り付け装置を更に備えると共に、
前記取り付け装置が、前記電子デバイスを前記第1の装置の外表面に取り付けるように構成される
ことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の装置。 - 前記第1の装置の外表面に連結されたポケットを更に備えると共に、
前記ポケットが、前記電子デバイスを受け止めて固定するように構成される
ことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の装置。 - 前記ループアンテナは、前記第1の装置のカバーの部分に連結される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記第2の装置が、充電パッドを含み、
前記充電パッドが、前記アンテナ回路を含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記第2の装置が、前記第1の装置に機械的に連結するように構成されると共に、前記第1の装置の基部を取り巻いて回転するように更に構成される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記第2の装置が、前記第1の装置の部分の中に配置され、そこから展開すると共に、前記第1の装置の前記部分の中に戻るように構成される

ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記ループアンテナが、前記第1の装置の部分の外周に配置されるように構成される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記ループアンテナが、正方形を形成する形状によって特徴付けられる
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記ループアンテナの大きさが、前記第1の装置の大きさによって特徴付けられる
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記エネルギー貯蔵装置が、充電可能バッテリを備える
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記第1の装置が、ラップトップコンピュータを含む

前記第2の装置において、前記アンテナ回路に含まれる送信回路を用いて前記ループアンテナから電力を無線で伝送する段階と、
前記第2の装置において、前記アンテナ回路に含まれる受信回路を用いて前記ループアンテナによって電力を無線で受け取る段階と、
無線で受け取られた前記電力を前記第2の装置から前記第1の装置に提供する段階と、
前記第2の装置からの前記電力によって前記エネルギー貯蔵装置を充電する段階と、
前記第2の装置を省電力モードと通常動作モードとの間で定期的に遷移させる段階と、
前記第2の装置によって前記通常動作モードで作動している間に電子デバイスの存在を検出する段階と、
電子デバイスが検出されない場合は前記第2の装置をもとの前記省電力モードへ遷移させる段階と
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記第1の装置の空洞の中に前記第2の装置を機械的に連結する段階を更に含む
ことを特徴とする請求項22に記載の方法。 - 前記第2の装置の部分を、前記第1の装置から伸びるように配置する段階を更に含む
ことを特徴とする請求項23に記載の方法。 - 前記電力を無線で伝送する段階が、
前記第2の装置から、前記第2の装置の表面に配置された前記電子デバイスに電力を無線で伝送する段階を含む
ことを特徴とする請求項22に記載の方法。 - 前記電子デバイスの前記存在の検出と同時に、前記第1の装置を省電力モードから充電モードに切り替える段階
を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項22に記載の方法。 - 前記検出する段階が、近距離無線通信によって前記電子デバイスの前記存在を検出する段階を含む
ことを特徴とする請求項22に記載の方法。 - 前記検出する段階が、前記電子デバイスに接続された電波方式認識(RFID)タグを検出する段階を含む
ことを特徴とする請求項22に記載の方法。 - 前記第1の装置を省電力モードから充電モードに切り替える段階が、前記第1の装置を待機モード及びスリープモードの内の少なくとも1つから充電モードに切り替える段階を含む
ことを特徴とする請求項26に記載の方法。 - 無線電力充電のための装置であって、
エネルギー貯蔵装置を含む第1の装置を、ループアンテナを有するアンテナ回路を含む第2の装置に対して電気コネクタを介して電気的に接続する手段と、
前記第2の装置において、前記エネルギー貯蔵装置から電力を受け取る手段と、
前記第2の装置において、前記アンテナ回路に含まれる送信回路を用いて前記ループアンテナから電力を無線で伝送する手段と、
前記第2の装置において、前記アンテナ回路に含まれる受信回路を用いて前記ループアンテナによって電力を無線で受け取る手段と、
無線で受け取られた前記電力を前記第2の装置から前記第1の装置に提供する手段と、
前記第2の装置から受け取られた前記電力によって前記エネルギー貯蔵装置を充電する手段と、
前記電力を無線で伝送する手段を省電力モードと通常動作モードとの間で定期的に遷移させる手段と、
前記通常動作モードで作動している間に電子デバイスの存在を検出する手段と、
電子デバイスが検出されない場合は前記電力を無線で伝送する手段をもとの前記省電力モードへ遷移させる手段と
を備えることを特徴とする装置。 - 前記第1の装置の空洞の中に前記第2の装置を機械的に連結する手段を更に備える
ことを特徴とする請求項30に記載の装置。 - 前記空洞が、ドライブべイを備える
ことを特徴とする請求項31に記載の装置。 - 前記第2の装置の部分を、前記第1の装置から伸びるように配置する手段を更に備える
ことを特徴とする請求項30に記載の装置。 - 前記電力を無線で伝送する手段が、

- 前記検出する手段が、近距離無線通信によって前記電子デバイスの前記存在を検出する手段を備える
ことを特徴とする請求項30に記載の装置。 - 前記検出する手段が、前記電子デバイスに接続された電波方式認識(RFID)タグを検出する手段を備える
ことを特徴とする請求項30に記載の装置。 - 前記第1の装置を省電力モードから充電モードに切り替える手段が、前記第1の装置を待機モード及びスリープモードの内の少なくとも1つから充電モードに切り替える手段を備える
ことを特徴とする請求項35に記載の装置。 - 前記第1の装置において、電力を外部電源から受け取る手段を更に備える
ことを特徴とする請求項30に記載の装置。 - 前記電力を無線で伝送する手段が、電力を前記電子デバイスに無線で伝送する手段を備える
