図1を見ると、プラスチック艶出し組合せ材は、窓として自動車10で使用することができる。窓の非包括的な実施例には、後部窓15、サンルーフ20、固定式横窓25、および可動式横窓30が含まれる。自動車設計の当業者は、本発明のプラスチック艶出しシステムが、これらに限定されないが、ボディ・パネル、支柱、ヘッドランプ、尾灯やカウリングを含む、他の自動車構成部材に使用できることを理解するだろう。本発明のプロセスによって、多くの現在のプロセスの動作段階が簡単になり、コストが減少し、多くの機能要素(たとえば、日照調整、霜取り装置、アンテナ、プリントされたブラックアウト/フェードアウト(blackout/fadeout)やUV遮断)を結果として得られるプラスチック艶出し組合せ材中に組み込むことが可能になるので、これらのプラスチック艶出し組合せ材は、これらに限定されないが、自動車の艶出し、住宅および商用の艶出し、航空機の艶出し、およびサングラスを含む、多くの市場領域で用途を見出すことになる。
Claims (27)
- 耐候性および耐摩耗性を示すプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法であって、
モールド(50)内にプラスチック樹脂を注入して、A面とB面を有するプラスチック部品(100)を形成する段階(55)と、
前記プラスチック部品(100)が前記モールド(50)内にある間、前記プラスチック部品(100)の少なくとも一方側に被覆材(105)を付与する段階(60)と、
前記モールド(50)から前記被覆された部品を取り外す段階(70)と、
前記被覆された部品の前記被覆材(105)の上に、厚さが事実上均一で一定である耐摩耗層(110)を被着する段階(75)とを含む方法において、
被覆材をその上で硬化させた被覆された部品を形成するために前記モールド内にある間、前記プラスチック部品(100)上の前記被覆材(105)を硬化させる段階(65)を特徴とする、プラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。 - 注入段階、付与段階、硬化段階、取り外し段階および被着段階の段階が、自動化された手段によって実施されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- プラスチック窓を注入する前記段階(55)は、自動車の窓の形状で前記プラスチック部品(100)を形成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 前記被覆材(105)を付与する前記段階(60)は、前記プラスチック部品(100)と前記モールド(50)の面の間にギャップを確立する段階を含み、
前記被覆材(105)は、前記ギャップ内に注入されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。 - 前記モールド成形された部品(100)と前記モールド(50)の面の間に前記ギャップを確立する前記段階は、事実上一定の幅で前記ギャップを形成することを特徴とする請求項4に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 耐摩耗層(110)を被着する前記段階(75)は、真空蒸着技術を使用して実施されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 前記真空蒸着技術は、プラズマ化学気相成長法(PECVD)、膨張熱プラズマ(expanding thermal plasma)PECVD、プラズマ重合法、光化学気相成長法、イオン・ビーム蒸着法、イオン・メッキ蒸着法、陰極アーク蒸着法、スパッタリング、エバポレイション、中空陰極励起蒸着法(hollow-cathode activated deposition)、マグネトロン励起蒸着法(magnetron activated deposition)、励起反応エバポレイション(activated reactive evaporation)、熱化学気相成長法、またはいずれの知られたゾル−ゲル被覆プロセスのうちの1つとして選択される請求項6に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 前記真空蒸着技術は、膨張熱プラズマ化学気相成長法である請求項6に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 前記被覆材(105)を硬化させる前記段階(65)は、熱硬化、放射線硬化、および熱硬化と放射線硬化の組み合わせのうちの1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 前記耐摩耗層(110)を被着するために、前記モールドから前記被覆された部品を搬送するために使用される機械システムのサブコンポーネントである保持メカニズムから前記被覆された部品をつるす段階によって更に特徴づけられる請求項1に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 前記被覆された部品のいずれの被覆されていない面上に直接耐摩耗層を被着する段階(75)によって更に特徴づけられる請求項1に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 前記プラスチック樹脂を注入する段階(55)に先立ち、前記モールド(50)内にプラスチック・フィルム(115)を配置する段階(85)によって更に特徴づけられる請求項1に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 前記モールド(50)の1面の形状に事実上整合するように、前記プラスチック・フィルム(115)を形成する段階によって更に特徴づけられる請求項12に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 前記プラスチック・フィルム(115)に整合する、前記モールド(50)の前記1面は、前記プラスチック部品(100)の前記A面を画定する請求項13に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 前記モールド(50)内に前記プラスチック・フィルム(115)を配置する段階の前に、前記プラスチック・フィルム(115)上に境界、霜取り装置、アンテナ、またはロゴのうちの少なくとも1つをプリントする段階(80)によって更に特徴づけられる請求項12に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 耐摩耗層(110)の前記被着段階(75)の前に、前記被覆された部品を貯蔵する段階によって更に特徴づけられる請求項1に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 前記被覆された部品を貯蔵する前記段階は、少なくともクラス100のクリーン・ルーム中で実施される請求項16に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 耐摩耗層(110)の前記被着段階(75)に先立ち、前記被覆された部品を洗浄する段階によって更に特徴づけられる請求項17に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 前記被覆された部品を洗浄する前記段階は、水性洗浄、アルコールふき取り、アルコールすすぎ、またはそれらの組み合わせのうちの1つを使用して、実施される請求項18に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 耐摩耗層(110)の前記被着段階に先立ち、前記硬化した被覆材の面上に機能層(130)を被着する段階によって更に特徴づけられる請求項1に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 前記耐摩耗層(110)の前記被着段階(75)に先立ち、前記被覆された部品のいずれの被覆されていない側にシリコン硬質皮膜(120)を付与する段階によって更に特徴づけられる請求項1に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 耐候性および耐摩耗性を示すプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法であって、
前記モールド(50)を閉じる段階と、
モールド内にプラスチック樹脂を注入して、被覆された部品を形成する段階と、
前記モールド(50)から前記被覆された部品を取り出す段階と、
前記被覆された部品の前記被覆材(105)の上に耐摩耗層(110)を被着する段階とを含む方法において、
上記に列挙された段階に先立ち、
モールド(50)の少なくとも1つの面に被覆材(105)を付与する段階と、
前記被覆材(105)に対してバリア・フィルムを配置して押し付ける段階であって、
前記バリア・フィルムは、前記被覆材(105)に対して全く親和性を有さず、前記被覆材が、硬化される前に、酸素に晒されるのを防止する段階と、
前記被覆材(105)を硬化させる段階と、
前記バリア・フィルムを除去する段階とを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記被覆材(105)を硬化させる前記段階は、UV放射線によって前記被覆材を照射する段階を含む請求項22に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 耐摩耗層(110)を被着する前記段階は、真空蒸着技術を使用して実施される請求項22に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 前記真空蒸着技術は、膨張熱プラズマ化学気相成長法である請求項24に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 耐摩耗層(110)の前記被着段階に先立ち、前記硬化した被覆材の面上に機能層(130)を被着する段階によって更に特徴づけられる請求項22に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
- 前記耐摩耗層(110)の前記被着段階に先立ち、前記被覆された部品のいずれの被覆されていない側にシリコン硬質皮膜(120)を付与する段階によって更に特徴づけられる請求項22に記載されたプラスチック艶出し組合せ材を製造する方法。
