Claims (3)
- イメージを印刷する方法であって、当該方法は、前記イメージに基づいたイメージマスクを調製する調製工程を有し、当該調製工程は:
前記イメージに対応する第1解像度のハーフトーンデータを取得する取得工程;
前記ハーフトーンデータの解像度を、少なくとも一次元において増大させる増大工程;
前記ハーフトーンデータの実質的に全てのイメージ部位のサイズに一定のパターンを適用する適用工程;
処理されたハーフトーンデータに基づいて前記イメージマスクを処理する処理工程;
前記イメージマスクを凸版媒体の前駆体に固定する固定工程;
前記イメージマスクを介して前記凸版媒体の前駆体を放射線に曝露する曝露工程;
前記凸版媒体の前駆体から凸版媒体を生成する生成工程;及び、
前記凸版媒体の起伏部を用いて前記イメージを印刷する印刷工程;
を有し、
前記適用工程は、前記イメージマスクの対応するイメージ領域の透明度を一定程度減少させるように設計され、
前記凸版媒体を生成する生成工程は、前記凸版媒体に対応する起伏部のパターンとなる凸版媒体を生成する工程を有し、
前記印刷工程は、ベタ塗りの部位がパターンとなるときに、インク濃度が増大するようにベタ塗りイメージ部位を印刷する工程を有する、
方法。 - 前記適用工程は、実効サイズが少なくとも30μmの直径であるハーフトーンイメージ部位に前記パターンを適用する工程を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記一定のパターンが規則的なパターンを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
