Claims (4)
- 熱媒を蒸発させる高温蒸発器と、
前記高温蒸発器で蒸発した熱媒の膨張力を回転力に変換するスクリュ膨張機と、
前記スクリュ膨張機から排気された熱媒が導入される凝縮器と、
前記凝縮器において液化された前記熱媒の少なくとも一部分を前記高温蒸発器に供給する循環ポンプと、
前記凝縮器において液化された前記熱媒の他の部分を減圧する膨張弁と、
前記膨張弁で減圧された冷媒を蒸発させて吸熱する低温蒸発器と、
前記スクリュ膨張機によって駆動され、前記低温蒸発器で気化した熱媒を圧縮して前記凝縮器に供給するスクリュ圧縮機とを有し、
前記スクリュ膨張機と前記スクリュ圧縮機とは、前記スクリュ膨張機の排気側と前記スクリュ圧縮機の吐出側とが対向するように、それぞれ共通のケーシングの中に形成されたロータ室に雌雄一対のロータを収容して構成され、
前記スクリュ膨張機の回転軸の給気側と前記スクリュ圧縮機の回転軸の吸込側とが、前記ケーシングの外部に露出しない密閉構造とされ、
前記スクリュ膨張機の回転軸の排気側と前記スクリュ圧縮機の回転軸の吐出側とが、前記ケーシングの内部で接続されていることを特徴とする冷凍装置。 - 前記ケーシングは、前記スクリュ膨張機の排気流路および前記スクリュ圧縮機の吐出流路が合流し、前記凝縮器に接続され、且つ、前記スクリュ膨張機の回転軸の排気側と前記スクリュ圧縮機の回転軸の吐出側とを接続するカップリングを収容する中間空間を画定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の冷凍装置。
- 前記中間空間内に、前記スクリュ膨張機の回転力によって発電する発電機を収容したことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の冷凍装置。
- 前記カップリングは、前記スクリュ圧縮機と前記発電機の間に配置され、前記スクリュ膨張機の回転軸と前記スクリュ圧縮機の回転軸とを切り離し可能な電磁クラッチを含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の冷凍装置。
