Description
金属−炭素複合系活物質85wt%、結合剤としてPVDF5wt%、導電剤として平均粒径3μmの黒鉛10wt%を混合した後、NMPに溶解及び分散させて負極合剤スラリーを製造したこと以外には実施例1と同一に実施した。
負極製造時に軟性黒鉛の代りに加圧時に変形しにくい黒鉛を適用して電池を製造したこと以外は実施例1と同一である。これに使用された黒鉛は、1ton/cm2の圧力でペレット密度が1.5g/ccの値を表す黒鉛を用いた。

Claims (3)
- 金属または金属酸化物の中から選択される少なくとも1つの活物質及び炭素系活物質で構成された金属−炭素複合系活物質粒子、軟性黒鉛粒子、前記活物質粒子及び前記軟性黒鉛粒子をお互いに結合固定させる結合剤を備えた活物質層と、前記活物質層が表面に積層形成された集電体とを備えたリチウム二次電池用負極とともに、セパレータ、正極が積層形成された電極組立体、前記電極組立体を収容するために形成されたケースと、を含み、
前記軟性黒鉛粒子は平方センチメートル当たり1トンのプレス圧力でペレットを形成する際、ペレット密度が1.6〜1.9g/ccであるとともに、X線回折法によるd002層間距離が0.335±0.01nmで、平均粒径が5ないし40μmであり、さらに前記活物質層全体の30ないし70重量%であり、
前記金属−炭素複合系活物質はSi−黒鉛複合物であり、
前記リチウム二次電池用負極は、金属ホイルの上にスラリー状で積層された後に、ロールプレス先端圧0.7ton/cmでプレスして密度が1.5ないし1.9g/cc(cubic centimeter)範囲内で活物質層が形成されたことを特徴とするリチウム二次電池。 - 前記金属−炭素複合系活物質の単独放電容量は、単位グラム当たり450ないし1000mAhであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記軟性黒鉛は、人造黒鉛または天然黒鉛であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
