Description
・α-オレフィン、特に3〜30個の炭素原子を含むもの、例えば、プロピレン、1-ブテン、1-ペンテン、3-メチル-1-ブテン、1-ヘキセン、4-メチル-1-ペンテン、3-メチル-1-ペンテン、1-オクテン、1-デセン、1-ドデセン、1-テトラデセン、1-ヘキサデセン、1-オクタデセン、1-エイコセン、1-ドコセン、1-テトラコセン、1-ヘキサコセン、1-オクタコセンおよび1-トリアコンテン;これらのα-オレフィンは、単独であるいは2つまたはそれ以上の混合物として使用することができる;
・不飽和カルボン酸エステル、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルなどであり、そのアルキル基は、24個までの炭素原子を含むことができる;アクリル酸アルキルまたはメタクリル酸アルキルの例は、特に、メタクリル酸メチル、アクリル酸メチル、アクリル酸エチル、アクリル酸n-ブチル、アクリル酸イソブチルおよびアクリル酸2-エチルヘキシルである;
・不飽和カルボン酸、例えば、アクリル酸およびメタクリル酸など;
・飽和カルボン酸のビニルエステル、例えば、酢酸ビニルまたはプロピオン酸ビニルなど;および
・ジエン、例えば、1,4-ヘキサジエン、1,4-ブタジエン、イソプレンなど。
ポリエチレンは、上記コモノマーのいくつかを含むことができる。
・低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE);
・高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE);
・線状低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE);
・超低密度ポリエチレン(VLDPE);
・メタロセン触媒作用によって得られるポリエチレン;
・エチレン/(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルコポリマー、例えば、エチレン/アクリル酸メチルおよびエチレン/アクリル酸エチルコポリマー;
・エチレン/(メタ)アクリル酸コポリマー;
・エチレン/(メタ)アクリル酸コポリマー;および
・エチレン/酢酸ビニルコポリマー。
適する膨張性中空微小球は、例えば、Pierce & Stevens(現在はHenkel Corporationの一部である)から商標「Dualite」のもとで市販されている。
・脂肪族グリシジルエステルおよびエーテル、例えば、アリルグリシジルエーテル、ビニルグリシジルエーテル、マレイン酸グリシジル、イタコン酸グリシジルおよび(メタ)アクリル酸グリシジル;および
・脂環式グリシジルエステルおよびエーテル、例えば、2-シクロヘキセン-1-グリシジルエーテル、シクロヘキセン-4,5-カルボン酸ジグリシジル、シクロヘキセン-4-カルボン酸グリシジル、5-ノルボルネン-2-メチル-2-カルボン酸グリシジルおよびendo-cis-ビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプタ-5-エン-2,3-ジカルボン酸ジグリシジル。
(2) BONDINE HX8290 (約11〜13重量%のアクリル酸エチルおよび約2重量%の無水マレイン酸を含有すると考えられる;メルトフローインデックス=65g/10分間;融点 43℃;Arkemaから供給);
(3) LOTADER AX8900 (8重量%のメタクリル酸グリシジル、24重量%のアクリル酸メチル;メルトフローインデックス=6g/10分間、ASTM D1238により190℃、2.16kgで測定;融点 60℃、DSCによって測定;ビカー点=<40℃、ASTM D1525-82によって測定;ショアーD硬度 18、ISO 868によって測定;Arkemaから供給);
(4) FUJICURE FXR-1090FA エポキシ-アミン付加物 (Fuji Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.);
(5) EPICURE H3 (Japan Epoxy Resins Co., Ltd.);
(6) PETROSEN 353 (融点 100℃;MFR=150/10分間;Tosoh Co., Ltd.);
(7) SUMILITE PR-311 (CAS番号9003-35-4/CAS番号100-97-0/CAS番号108-95-2の混合物;Sumitomo Bakelite Co., Ltd.);
(8) NEOCELBORN #5000 p,p'-オキシビス(ベンゼンスルホニル)ヒドラジド (Eiwa Chemical Ind. Co., Ltd.);
(9) VINIHOLE AC#3 アゾジカルボナミド (Eiwa Chemical Ind. Co., Ltd.)。
(2) 200℃で40分間;
(3) 湿気中で1週間エージング;180℃で20分間;SPCC(油なし);
(4) 湿気中で4週間エージング;180℃で20分間;SPCC(油なし);
(5) 通常の支柱充填材(無水物官能化した熱可塑性樹脂を含まない)。
本発明の好ましい態様は、以下を包含する。
〔1〕(a)少なくとも1つの無水物官能化した熱可塑性樹脂;
(b)少なくとも1つのアミン官能化した潜在的硬化剤;および
(c)少なくとも1つの潜在的発泡剤;
を含有する固体膨張性組成物。
〔2〕少なくとも1つのエポキシ官能化した熱可塑性樹脂をさらに含有する上記〔1〕に記載の固体膨張性組成物。
〔3〕エチレン、酢酸ビニルおよび無水マレイン酸からなる少なくとも1つのコポリマーを含有する上記〔1〕に記載の固体膨張性組成物。
〔4〕エチレン;無水マレイン酸;ならびに、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、およびアクリル酸およびメタクリル酸のC 1 〜C 6 アルキルエステルからなる群から選択される少なくとも1つのモノマー;を含んでなる少なくとも1つのコポリマーを含有する上記〔1〕に記載の固体膨張性組成物。
〔5〕少なくとも1つのケチミンをさらに含有する上記〔1〕に記載の固体膨張性組成物。
〔6〕少なくとも1つのエチレン性不飽和架橋剤をさらに含有する上記〔1〕に記載の固体膨張性組成物。
〔7〕少なくとも1つの過酸化物フリーラジカル開始剤をさらに含有する上記〔1〕に記載の固体膨張性組成物。
〔8〕アミン-エポキシ付加物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つのアミン官能化した潜在的硬化剤を含有する上記〔1〕に記載の固体膨張性組成物。
〔9〕約105〜約150℃の融点を有する微細分割した形態にある少なくとも1つのアミン官能化した潜在的硬化剤を含有する上記〔1〕に記載の固体膨張性組成物。
〔10〕アゾ化合物およびヒドラジド化合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの潜在的発泡剤を含有する上記〔1〕に記載の固体膨張性組成物。
〔11〕約35〜約80重量%の1つまたはそれ以上の無水物官能化した熱可塑性樹脂を含んでなる上記〔1〕に記載の固体膨張性組成物。
〔12〕約0.1〜約5重量%の1つまたはそれ以上のアミン官能化した硬化剤を含んでなる上記〔1〕に記載の固体膨張性組成物。
〔13〕約5〜約20重量%の1つまたはそれ以上の潜在的発泡剤を含んでなる上記〔1〕に記載の固体膨張性組成物。
〔14〕少なくとも1つの潜在的発泡剤を活性化するに有効な温度まで加熱したときに、少なくとも1000%膨張することができる上記〔1〕に記載の固体膨張性組成物。
〔15〕少なくとも1つのフェノール化合物をさらに含有する上記〔1〕に記載の固体膨張性組成物。
〔16〕少なくとも1つのフェノール-ホルムアルデヒド樹脂をさらに含有する上記〔1〕に記載の固体膨張性組成物。
〔17〕(a)約35〜約80重量%の、フリーラジカル共重合またはグラフト化によって製造され、エチレン;無水マレイン酸;ならびに、酢酸ビニル、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、およびアクリル酸およびメタクリル酸のC 1 〜C 6 アルキルエステルからなる群から選択される1つまたはそれ以上のコモノマー;のコポリマーからなる群から選択される、1つまたはそれ以上の無水物官能化した熱可塑性樹脂;
(b)約0.1〜約5重量%の、約105〜約150℃の融点を有する、1つまたはそれ以上のアミン-エポキシ付加物;および
(c)約5〜約20重量%の、アゾ化合物およびヒドラジド化合物からなる群から選択される、1つまたはそれ以上の潜在的な化学的発泡剤;
を含有する固体膨張性組成物。
〔18〕構造部材の中空空洞を塞ぐ方法であって、以下の工程を含んでなる方法:
(a)該中空空洞内に、上記〔1〕に記載の固体膨張性組成物の部分を配置する工程;および
(b)該固体膨張性組成物の部分を、潜在的発泡剤を活性化するに有効な温度まで加熱し、それによって、固体膨張性組成物を膨張させ、該中空空洞を塞ぐ工程。
〔19〕該固体膨張性組成物の部分をキャリヤーと組合せる上記〔18〕に記載の方法。
〔20〕上記〔1〕に記載の固体膨張性組成物の部分と組合せてキャリヤーを含んでなる空洞充填材インサート。
Claims (15)
- (a)少なくとも1つの無水物官能化した熱可塑性樹脂;
(b)少なくとも1つのアミン官能化した潜在的硬化剤;および
(c)少なくとも1つの潜在的発泡剤;
を含んでなる固体膨張性組成物であって、無水物官能化した熱可塑性樹脂を、それ以外の樹脂より多く含有する固体膨張性組成物。 - 少なくとも1つのエポキシ官能化した熱可塑性樹脂をさらに含んでなる請求項1に記載の固体膨張性組成物。
- エチレン;無水マレイン酸;ならびに、酢酸ビニル、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、およびアクリル酸およびメタクリル酸のC1〜C6アルキルエステルからなる群から選択される少なくとも1つのモノマー;を含んでなる少なくとも1つのコポリマーを含んでなる請求項1または2に記載の固体膨張性組成物。
- 少なくとも1つのケチミンをさらに含んでなる請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の固体膨張性組成物。
- 少なくとも1つのエチレン性不飽和架橋剤をさらに含んでなる請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の固体膨張性組成物。
- アミン-エポキシ付加物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つのアミン官能化した潜在的硬化剤を含んでなる請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の固体膨張性組成物。
- 105〜150℃の融点を有する微細分割した形態にある少なくとも1つのアミン官能化した潜在的硬化剤を含んでなる請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の固体膨張性組成物。
- アゾ化合物およびヒドラジド化合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの潜在的発泡剤を含んでなる請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の固体膨張性組成物。
- 35〜80重量%の1つまたはそれ以上の無水物官能化した熱可塑性樹脂を含んでなる請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の固体膨張性組成物。
- 0.1〜5重量%の1つまたはそれ以上のアミン官能化した硬化剤を含んでなる請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の固体膨張性組成物。
- 5〜20重量%の1つまたはそれ以上の潜在的発泡剤を含んでなる請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の固体膨張性組成物。
- 少なくとも1つのフェノール化合物および/または少なくとも1つのフェノール-ホルムアルデヒド樹脂をさらに含んでなる請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の固体膨張性組成物。
- (a)35〜80重量%の、フリーラジカル共重合またはグラフト化によって製造され、エチレン;無水マレイン酸;ならびに、酢酸ビニル、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、およびアクリル酸およびメタクリル酸のC1〜C6アルキルエステルからなる群から選択される1つまたはそれ以上のコモノマー;のコポリマーからなる群から選択される、1つまたはそれ以上の無水物官能化した熱可塑性樹脂;
(b)0.1〜5重量%の、105〜150℃の融点を有する、1つまたはそれ以上のアミン-エポキシ付加物;および
(c)5〜20重量%の、アゾ化合物およびヒドラジド化合物からなる群から選択される、1つまたはそれ以上の潜在的な化学的発泡剤;
を含んでなる固体膨張性組成物であって、無水物官能化した熱可塑性樹脂を、それ以外の樹脂より多く含有する固体膨張性組成物。 - 構造部材の中空空洞を塞ぐ方法であって、以下の工程を含む方法:
(a)該中空空洞内に、請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の固体膨張性組成物の部分を配置する工程;および
(b)該固体膨張性組成物の部分を、潜在的発泡剤を活性化するに有効な温度まで加熱し、それによって、固体膨張性組成物を膨張させ、該中空空洞を塞ぐ工程。 - 請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の固体膨張性組成物の部分と組合せてキャリヤーを含んでなる空洞充填材インサート。
