Description
(1) 内輪および外輪と、これら内輪と外輪の間に転動自在に配置された複数の転動体と、前記外輪に形成されたシール嵌合溝に外周部が嵌め込まれて前記内輪と外輪の間をシールするシール部材と、を備える密封型転がり軸受において、
前記シール嵌合溝の内壁の円周方向の少なくとも1箇所に、前記シール部材の外周部を前記シール嵌合溝に弾性変形させつつ嵌め込んだ際に、該シール部材が係合することで前記シール部材と前記外輪との相対回転を防止する係合部が設けられており、
前記シール嵌合溝の内壁に設けられる前記係合部は、軸方向および径方向共に矩形断面を有する凹部であり、
前記シール部材に設けられた、軸方向および径方向共に矩形断面を有する凸部が、前記凹部に相補的に嵌まること。
また、前記シール嵌合溝の内壁に設けられる係合部である凹部に嵌まる凸部がシール部材側に設けられているので、凹部と凸部の係合により、更なるシール部材の連れ回り抑制効果を得ることができる。
本発明は、図3に示した単列の4点接触型の玉軸受や、3点接触型の玉軸受や深溝玉軸受、また、図5に示した複列のアンギュラ軸受などに広く適用できるものである。

Claims (1)
- 内輪および外輪と、これら内輪と外輪の間に転動自在に配置された複数の転動体と、前記外輪に形成されたシール嵌合溝に外周部が嵌め込まれて前記内輪と外輪の間をシールするシール部材と、を備える密封型転がり軸受において、
前記シール嵌合溝の内壁の円周方向の少なくとも1箇所に、前記シール部材の外周部を前記シール嵌合溝に弾性変形させつつ嵌め込んだ際に、該シール部材が係合することで前記シール部材と前記外輪との相対回転を防止する係合部が設けられており、
前記シール嵌合溝の内壁に設けられる前記係合部は、軸方向および径方向共に矩形断面を有する凹部であり、
前記シール部材に設けられた、軸方向および径方向共に矩形断面を有する凸部が、前記凹部に相補的に嵌まることを特徴とする密封型転がり軸受。
